My Experience
Within 4 days I had an interview and then received an offer. The opportunities are definitely real. Capital Placement worked really well with me, making sure why my goals were and how any opportunity would align with that. I was fortunate to have worked with Yash as he made sure that the offer I received entailed the experiences/skills I was seeking, how it would fit into my career path, and also helped my prepare for the interview. Overall I’d say that this is definitely worth it for someone looking to kickstart their career and attain meaningful work experience to become competitive in the job market.

Be aware of the costs vs. compensation
I recently spoke with the team at Capital Placement about a 6-month remote internship, and while the staff was polite and very transparent about their process, I feel a responsibility to share my concerns regarding the financial reality of this program.
The program requires an upfront fee of £1,550. In return, the full-time or even part time roles they offer pay a stipend of only £250–£500 per month.
When I asked why the fee was so high compared to the pay, I was told the money covers "added value" services like CV editing, interview prep, and mentoring.
While I appreciate that these services take time to provide, the human reality is that a student or graduate would have to work full-time for nearly half a year just to pay back the cost of the agency fee.
It’s one thing to be transparent about costs, but it’s another for a deal to be fair. Asking someone to perform full-time labor for £500 a month while charging them over £1,500 to get there feels like a "pay-to-work" system that many young professionals simply cannot afford.
It doesn't feel right to call this a "career opportunity" when the compensation doesn't even cover basic cost-of-living expenses.
If you already have a good CV or a mentor, please think twice. We should be compensated for our hard work, not paying a huge portion of our potential earnings just to be allowed to work.

You’re absolutely right about one thing and I appreciate you highlighting this, transparency matters. That’s why we’re very open from the first conversation about costs, stipends, and expectations, and why I took the time to walk you through the financial reality before any commitment. This is very, very important to us.
A few important clarifications for those reading:
Capital Placement is not an employment agency and our programs are not designed as income-generating roles. Our programs are structured career development programs aimed primarily at students and early-career graduates who are struggling to access relevant work experience on their own, particularly internationally or remotely- and help them get a graduate job, faster.
The program fee does not “buy a job”. It covers:
-Sourcing and securing a vetted internship opportunity- we guarantee to do this within 8 weeks.
-Most of these opportunities are not openly listed.
-CV and LinkedIn optimisation tailored to the role
-Interview preparation and ongoing mentoring
-Program management, pastoral support, and career support throughout
In short: it’s closer to a professional training program with live industry experience, rather than paid employment.
On compensation: many internships globally, especially remote and international ones are unpaid or modestly stipended. Where stipends exist, they are set by host companies, not us. We actively encourage hosts to offer compensation where possible, but we won’t mislabel an internship as a “job” just to make it sound more attractive. Overselling helps no one.
We also agree with your underlying point: if someone already has strong experience, a solid CV, and access to mentors, this program may not be the right fit. And that’s okay. Our programs are built for those who don’t yet have those advantages and need structured support to get their foot firmly in the door. If you are finding it difficult to get your first internship, we are here for you.
Finally, on fairness: thousands of alumni would argue that the return isn’t measured by the stipend alone, but by what comes after, the graduate roles, visa sponsorships, career switches, and doors that were previously shut. That doesn’t make the program right for everyone, but it does make it meaningful for many.

This isn't my first rodeo and once again Yash has done it. I have to admit, the process wasn't necessarily smooth because my needs this time were a little more specific. But Yash's determination to meet them never waivered. He was incredibly attentive and completely understood my availability and the type of experience I needed.
