The service and quality was excellent and the part we ordered was perfect for the replacement unit.

I ordered 2m x 690mm Polycarbonate roofing sheets & glazing bars. I requested delivery be delayed as I was away, which they duly acknowledged. They then ignored my request & delivered the items whilst I was away. The packages were left scattered across my front garden in open view in torrential rain, and they forged my signature of receipt. 2 days later I found the sodden items on my return home. The roofing sheets had been dropped in transit on one corner and all were damaged, but luckily as I was cutting off 30mm I managed to cut off the damaged corners. Sheets were supposed to be 690mm wide - they varied between 685 and 692. My complaint was treated along the lines of "we'll learn from that in future".
Well, I won't be giving them the opportunity to learn anything more ...

Delivery time was the longest I have ever had, communication was terrible, the free cutting service was useless, sheets cut 10mm oversize, when I complained I got a very couldn't care less response.

Quick easy and good product

The whole process was a breeze, and the quality of the order was brilliant and delivered quickly and as described. Brilliant, many thanks.

Prompt efficient service. Product came well packed exactly as ordered. Polycarbonate sheet works fine as alternative to glass.

This company sent me wrong size sheets so did not have enough to finish the job I had to do in one day, so had to go and buy more else where also the delivery was dropped off at 11pm at night and left on the drive with no contact or email text etc to say it had been dropped off
When they rang me offered me £50.00 off my total

I opted to use the Axgard patterned polycarbonate to glaze 64 lites in 4 pairs of garage doors and was obviously drawn to the free cutting service offered by Clearamber.

As I wanted to get the details correct for the no of panes to be cut from each sheet I spent some time using the live chat to go over the requirements. (TBH I would have preferred to use a telephone sales line to ensure it was 100% understood but went with it anyway believing the details would be passed onto production when the order was placed). It's an understatement to say I was a little concerned when the order arrived; I received just 6 panes not 64 for my £313! I thought I'd been well and truly ripped off by the 'free' cutting service.

Fortunately I shouldn't have worried, despite having to use the live chat again and a long wait between replies it was all sorted out within 3days with the full order (correctly sized) being delivered. I would therefore use Clearamber again based on this successful outcome.

NB: I would also recommend Clearamber add a comments field on the order form if further explanation is required for cutting. There's no option to select various sizes for each sheet or inc the total number required.

Trying to order some polycarbonate from this company is worse than pulling teeth! There’s a fault in the ordering process where one sheet of polycarbonate at £59 approximately, if it’s cut into four pieces with some leftover on their “free “cut to size Service you get charged about £239. People need to know about this! it’s a total rip off! Trying to talk to somebody on the phone is impossible. The chat service doesn’t work properly and all they want to do is harvest your information and email address before having a conversation, even starting off with please phone me here’s my phone number, you just get the acknowledgement sure and another question which you cannot answer without giving unnecessary information . It seems to me a little bit ridiculous! Now can’t even ask one question without the “give us your information” pop-up getting in the way. so frustrating!

Purchased from Clear Amber multiple times over the years and had a positive experience BUT the latest order has been anything but positive.
Their website states delivery in 2-4 days, but after four days I’ve been trying to find when they intend to deliver yet being ignored on their internal chat. Then told end of week but then changed to end of next week.
Their website is misleading as instead of 2-4 days they are possibly delivering in two weeks; who actually knows?Their “customer service” has been extremely disappointing.
My next order was supposed to be in excess of £15,000 but I will now be looking elsewhere.

Everything was packed in bubble wrap, roof panels and roof edges ware pack separately, very good quality, very happy with perches.
