I just completed a drone training course with Stuart de la Rosa of Drone Nerds. He is an excellent teacher, and quite knowledgeable. I gave this company my highest recommendation.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but because of the personal care & fantastic service I got from Drew Walker I am compelled to acknowledge him. I just purchased a Mav 3 Enterprise. This is my 3rd drone I purchased from Drone Nerds and the first time I bought one online instead of in one of their stores.
I thought because I no longer live near one of the Drone Nerds stores I would be losing the very knowledgeable & enthusiastic input from their in store associates, so that as well as my frustration with all other mishaps that can & do happen with a lot of online purchases, made me a bit anxious which means a lot of calls to what I thought would be to a automated answering system.
That was just not true in this case
I was lucky enough to get Drew Walker as my contact and salesperson from Drone Nerds and then I could ask for and get him every time, as well as him reaching out to me first
Drew went out if his way to make sure I knew all options available and followed up to get me exactly what I wanted & even more thru every step of my purchase

My interaction with Drone Tech Matthew was excellent! He immediately responded to my concerns about my DJI Mavic 3 Classic Drone not connecting to its Crontroller and that was after the drone was repaired for a smashed and severely damaged arm and returned to me. He immediately said to send it back and he would check it out a fix it if needed. Adding that there would be no additional charges for reexamining the drone, fixing it and shipping it back.

Benardo is the best
Benardo is the best. I have bought three drones from him and he is knowledgeable, timely, and very friendly. There are many places to buy drones but I will always go to Bernado at Drone Nerds!

My drone showed up and was not…
My drone showed up and was not evaluated according to their policy for 7 to 10 days. And after that, they realized that they needed to reach out to DJI for parts and camera configurations, which would take approximately another week or so. I was a bit baffled why it wasn’t evaluated day one then put it on the shelf for any parts that are needed so when there 7 to 10 day evaluation or bench working came about they were been better prepared to replace repair and calibrate my equipment.
I think the company is good the people were friendly, but I’m not happy about their business organization

IRRITATED
It was irritating to learn that after my drone has been in your possession and multiple contacts to Drone Nerds and to DJI (as was instructed to do by Drone Nerds) that for a month my repairs sat idle because of lack of Care Refresh Card activation code. DN told me I had to contact DJI for the number because DN couldn't supply code or make needed repairs. DJI says DN has to supply number and forward drone to DJI for repairs. Bottom line is, after back and forth contacts between you guys and Drone Nerds insisting you couldn't help me with needed activation code, within minutes your salesman Robbie Weitzner provided me with need code. Now instead of forwarding my drone to DJI (with provided shipping labels) DN is returning drone to me so that I may forward it myself. I purchased this drone from Drone Nerds after sending my first drone to you, which was unrepairable, and was asked for the sale if I were to purchase a new one. I gave you the business but didn't know I'd go through this much difficulty with service.

I sent this company a drone that had only issues with radio to drone communications. No physical issues. They sent me an email with photos of a damaged gimbal. Stating that this is what was received. I immediately called them. Only to speak to a manager that said that their receiving department would never damage a drone. It had to been damaged during shipping. I believe they took my working gimbal off and replaced it with a busted one they had on site. These 4k cameras are not replaceable and expensive, if you can find one. These people are crooks, horrible customer service. Do not send your equipment here. I repeat, Do Not Send Your Equipment Here.
Disappointed
Disappointed. I wasn’t too happy that something as basic as the camera on
my Mavic 3 couldn’t be fixed. It’s the most significant piece of hardware on the drone and they are not equipped to replace it. When I filled out the repair request, I noted that the camera and Gimbal did not work. It would have been nice to know they couldn’t fix it before spending the $85 on shipping. And last, my drone still sits at their facility with a promise that they will ship it to DJI. They made a label a couple days ago but it still sits while I am not able to fulfill my contractual commitments.
Drone-Nerds Go South
I suppose I'm no longer shocked as once reputable companies go south in this post-pandemic world. Drone Nerds seem to be one of those. My experience was poor, to say the least. I'll spare you my story but my experience includes not bad but non-existent communication, painful turn-around time (2 months), and sending my drone back as completely trashed. I did reach out to them but got no response. I'm certainly not going to sue over the $400 I paid for the crappy repair service. So yeah, public shaming seems to be my only outlet.
