Not a fair company!
I did order a book in english one month ago from elefant.ro because it was listed in stock. Only because of this I did order the book from their website, otherwise I would have chosen another website.
After I did pay the price I was informed that the product was not in stock and I have to wait 2 weeks for delivery. After 3 weeks still no information on the new delivery day.

Ordered in 16.11 have not recieved it yet (03.12) called 5 times told me to wait...

I ordered a product appearing in stock, paid online, decided to cancel my order some days later due to delayed delivery, they email me that instant that stocks are out. Interesting... At least the refund is said to take place, that I believe, let's not be fully critical.

Unreliable. I ordered a bottle sterilizer. The estimated delivery time was one week. The third day I called to see if delivery could be expedited, the operator said no, and after lunch when I canceled the order I received a message that the product is not in stock. It was urgent because it was for a newborn. frivolous! If I had ordered from another site, I would have received the product now. Good thing I didn't wait a week and I insisted on the phones. And the lady on the phone was very bored. The top is that I couldn't call from my cell phone anymore. I think they gave me a block. I called from another number

I ordered 5 items, two being identical, so let`s say four. Two of the items have one shipment date and the other two a different, later one.

I chose fast delivery and yet two of the items I ordered will arrive almost 3 weeks after I placed the order, and the other two after about 2 weeks, which is inadmissible.

I have had things come faster with the post office from China. Will absolutely never ever buy again from them. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Edit: I forgot to mention the fact that I called asking at least to change the delivery address, I thought it wouldn't be a problem seeing as they have all the time in the world to process the change before the delivery, but I was told that was not possible and that I should call to change the address once I get confirmation that the products are about to be delivered.

Au carti bune dar timpul de livrare este oribil. Am asteptat peste 1 luna ca sa imi vina 3 carti.

am cumparat un parfum care s-a dovedit neoriginal - cutia arata total diferit fata de ceea ce "promitea" prin poze acest site.
desi pe site-ul lor scria ca parfumurile sunt originale, mie mi-a fost trimisa o mizerie.
penibil, anunț pe toate caile toti cunoscuții sa renunțe inainte de a comanda ceva de pe acest site, si sa se orienteze spre orice alt retailer.

Ordered a set of make-up brushes, but got another one instead, without being warned about the change. Plus, I have selected as delivery option to pick my order up from one of their pickup points, and they by default changed this to courier delivery (which costs more). Don't recommend.

Servicii de doi bani. Am comandat o crema si am primit o carte cu instructiuni despre crema respectiva. Nici nu stiu daca sa ma supar sau ma amuz de cat de ridicol e siteul asta...elefant.ro.

Completely untrustworthy. Ordered two books online, estimated delivery was within a few days, received no confirmation of shipment, first book arrived after a couple of weeks, second is still not here, three weeks later. Phones disconnected, I wrote an email, received a non-answer several days later. Never ordering again!

Never buy from this company. I ordered a book in November and the estimated arrival time was the beginning of December. The book is still not here and it's Christmastime! I called twice and the customer service was super inefficient, each girl each time gave me contradicting information. The first time I called, the girl told me that the book had arrived at their warehouse and by the end of that week, it would arrive at the pickup point in the city. I called a week later because I still didn't have the book and the other girl told me that the book had not arrived at their warehouse and they actually had lost it and had no idea where the book was. She told me that they would notify me in two working days. Guess what. Another week has passed and there is no notify and no book! As I can see from the other reviews, they do this with a lot of clients. Never buy from them, I would pay more for a book to be sure that the customer service is efficient.

Comunicare si timpi de livrare excelenti.
Au venit cateva carti cu defect. Am sunat la ei in aceeasi zi si m-au intrebat ce doresc: returul banilor sau schimbul cartilor.
A doua zi, curierul a venit cu cartile noi si le-a preluat pe cele vechi, cu un singur drum.

Cancelled my orders with the reason that the books were not in stock, even though they were, but at a much larger price.

I have been buying online for years from bigger and tiny shops around the world, but never have I spent so much time trying to sort out a problem with Customer Service who does not care about its' customers one bit...

There was 1 delivery attempt for 2 different orders to my mum's place and she wasn't at home so they just returned the order without telling me or refunding me. I had to ask them and they kept telling me to place a differenr order. This was a birthday gift so I would expect some despatching and delivery priority, but nope... They also refused to take this up with their delivery service.... I had mentioned for the package to be left in a safe place if no one is at home but they tried to deliver once and that was the end of it...

After the second failed delivery attempt they still have not refunded my money weeks after so I asked them to and they re asking me for a Romanian bank account number even though they refunded my UK one in the past....

NU CUMPARATI altceva inafara de carti

Au contracte doar cu firme incapabile, care nu se tin de loc de 'promisiunea' pe care o dau ca data estimata de livrare si nici n-au habar de ce fac firmele respective sau cand au de gand sa livreze produsul achizitionat.

Eu am facut comanda in 18.03, (plata online, greseala mea) data estimata de livrare 21-22 martie, si nu mi s-a oferit niciun numar de urmarire, nimic.
Am sunat la suport, le-am scris pe messenger, le-am trimis email. Nimeni nu stie nimic de comanda (azi, 25.03)...

Sa ma ... in site-ul lor de 2 lei jumate.

Am cumparat de mai multe ori de pe elefant.ro! Initial am fost multumit, pana cand, am primit un fake! L-am trimis inapoi pt retur, eternul: e consumat mai mult de 5%, si nu poate face obiectul returului. In conditiile in care am dat maxim 3 spray-uri. Intrebare: cum oare se calculeaza acei 5%? :))

Tried various order options on this site. Books are cheap, but one order didn't deliver on the estimated time range shown on site after I placed order. The guy on the phone from customer service seemed out of this world, as if he didn't understand why I bothered him. He gave me a non-answer and hang up on me. Another time, I chose delivery in a pickup point in the city. The employee there modified their schedule to start at 11. I don't know if her managers knew this, as on the site, the program started at 10. So I had to wait there for 1hr, and after all that, a queue was formed. On my turn, she was super rude on telling me only 1 parcel was delivered out of the expected 2. Even if they come with good prices and offers, I'm never buying again.

Vand facaturi, pe care nu le accepta retur, invocand,chipurile, consum mai mare de 5% din cantitate! Protectia Consumatorului scrie pe ei!

Am comandat de mai multe ori si nu am avut probleme până când s-a întâmplat"minunea". Plătesc online o carte si astept: 3 zile,5,10. Sun, explic situatia,mi se spune că voi fi contactată,nimic. Sun din nou a 4a oară după ce astept 30 minute în telefon si nimic. Voi fi contactată de colegii de nu stiu unde. Deci produsul plătit, livrarea mai încolo, după sărbători,când ce rost are să mai dai cadoul.

Cica au bagat milioane de coco in site. Au bagat degeaba daca au customer support de rahat si sistemul e mai "virusat" decat o prostituata centurista.

Dar sa incepem cu inceputul.

Ascult radio guerrilla. De acolo am aflat de elefant.ro. Aveau ei la un moment dat o promotie, douazeci si unu de carti la pret de o guma orbit. In fine, ieftineala. Mie imi plac lucrurile ieftine. Ca sunt sarac si n-am bani de aruncat pe fitze. De-aia nu-mi iau Mac :)
Ok, si intru eu, dau comanda de carti, reducere la reducere, mai bag si cuponul "eliberadio" - fericire maxima, bani putini pe cultura. Deja ma vedeam mai destept: eu si Pruteanu.

Hopa, dupa o zi si ceva suna un Gigel. Eu credeam ca toate cele N+1 carti sunt deja pe drum catre micul orasel moldav, de provincie, al carui pasnic locuitor sunt. Dar nu a fost sa fie, eroare in sistemul de sute de mii de mii de ieuro. Nu s-a inregistrat nici adresa, nici oras nici nimic. Doar numarul de telefon. Asa ca ma suna Gigel, imi cere adresa. I-o dau cu incredere. Ajung acasa, ma gandesc ca as mai fi vrut vreo enspe mii de carti.

Dar ca sa vezi, sistemul lor nu permite asta. N-ai cum sa modifici o comanda anterioara, sa o anulezi, sa nimic. Sun pe Gigel, ii spun clar, pe romaneste si de vreo 3 ori: fratica, ia si mai adauga cartile astea. Poti sa faci tu asta sau anulam comanda si plasam alta noua?
De ce l-am intrebat pe Gigel? Fiindca lucrez in webdesign, am facut nenumarate e-shopuri asa ca stiu cam cum lucreaza ele "in spate".
Gigel zice ca nu, se descurca el.

Intru sa dau comanda noua, cartile din comanda veche nu mai erau in stoc, deoarece eu le luasem pe ultimele (cica). Adevaratul motiv e ca nu aveau decat o carte din fiecare titlu. Sau sistemul avea din nou erori. Cine stie? Va ramane un mister, la fel ca piramidele.

In fine, plasez comanda noua cu tot cu cartile vechi, caci Gigel a jurat pe rosu-aprins ca el anuleaza comanda.

Dupa 2 zile curierul la usa cu comanda veche. Ii zic frumusel ca nu, asta e gresita. Curierul zambeste, face stanga imprejur si pleaca in treaba lui.

Sun la elefant:
-Bai nebunilor, ce naiba am vorbit eu cu Gigel. De ce n-a anulat comanda.
- Pai sa vezi ce pe ici si pe dincolo.
- OK, le zic, dar urmatoarea vine cum am vrut eu?
- Nu.
- Pai de ce?
- Pai fiindca nu mai avem stoc la cartile alea, ca le-am trimis in comanda gresita si acum se plimba cu masina de la fancurier prin tara de nebune.

Ok, renunt la cartile vechi, si ii zic lui Aneta (Gigel nu mai era, vorbeam cu Aneta acum). Aneto, eu plec la Bucuresti sa ma destrabalez prin cluburi cu bagabonti si bagaboante, cu sucuri Teddy si baclavale. Nu mai sunt acasa cand vine coletul numarul 2, nu din vina mea ci din vina voastra, ca l-ati intarziat nepermis. Ok zice Aneta, dregandu-si vocea. Ok, domnul meu, coletul il veti ridica dumneavoastra de la sediul nostru. Asta e numarul de telefon, asta e adresa.

Actul 2, scena 4
Subsemnatul isi conduce bolidul pe E85 (DN2), cu vantul in ochi si soarele in plete. Sau invers.
Suna curierul, cum ca ar fi la mine la usa, in oraselul de provincie sus-numit cu un pachet de la ELEFANT.ro. Surpriza? Nu. Aneta a facut buba. ELEFANTUL ASTA SUFERA DE ALZHEIMER. Ha - ce ironie fina, nu?
Ok, deci Gigel uita comanda, Aneta la fel. Sun la Elefant.ro sa lamuresc problema. Nu prea dau impresia ca le pasa asa de ce se intampla si de tot jocul asta de-a tura-vura cu cartile prin toata Romania.

Bah, m-am plictisit de povestit aici. Moromete2, nu alta.
Long story short, la Bucuresti cartile mele nu erau toate, desi din cele 2 comenzi cineva putea sa faca 1 (una).
Sediul foarte greu de gasit, intr-un gang. Mos cam tampitel, oarecum rau-intentionat cu pretentii de comic fin. Ma cam lua la penis asa usurel cum ca eu as fi vinovat de toata situatia, ca ce caut la sediu in Bucuresti daca eu sunt din Botosani, etc. De parca nu s-a inventat inca roata. Sau poate el e mai batran ca roata. Cine stie. Un nou mister de elucidat. Seria a II-a: Mosul si piramidele.

In fine, am abandonat comanda acolo dupa zile de suspans. Primesc cartile din comanda 1, sau din comanda 2, sau le comaseaza, sau vin la Bucuresti, sau la Botosani, ce cota are un pariu cum ca ma intalnesc cu cartile pe DN2, ele in sens invers? Arogante de-astea.

Pe blog la subsemnatul a mai venit un nene, pare serios asa dupa avatar, care s-a plans de elefant.ro. Cica i-au promis promotie dar i-au luat pret intreg. Eroare de sistem, in mod cert.
