We wanted to send a final set of pictures showing how amazing everything turned out! Super happy with the Pottery Works 48” firebowl in natural concrete with lava rock. The bowl is the centerpiece in our backyard space with seating and side tables surrounding it. Roasting s’mores was the highlight of one of our evenings as well as drinking wine with friends and watching the fire. Customer service was friendly and answered all my concern about installation and weight.

The staff kept in contact throughout the process. They worked with me to schedule delivery around our travel schedule.

Fire Pit Surplus is almost assuredly a simple drop shipper. They’ve applied to be a dealer from a number of manufacturers and built a spiffy website, but don’t seem to have much if any actual hands-on experience.

They have an address somewhere in Wyoming. It’s a web host / tech incubator.

The second you sign up or purchase anything from them, they’ll start sending you barrels full of spam email from their “Founder”. As a Founder, she’s completely invisible on the internet, probably because she’s fabricated.

I had a massive run around from this company. I’d never buy anything from them ever again. Instead I walked into a brick and mortar store and ordered the item of interest. They said they hear about this kind of thing all the time in the outdoor supplies and furniture market. I don’t know how you’d go about dealing with any sort of after sales issue with a shadow company.

We installed the Dimplex Ignite XL 74" in our living room a few months ago, and honestly, it’s one of the best home upgrades we’ve made. The flame looks surprisingly real — way more convincing than I expected from an electric unit. Installation was straightforward (we recessed it into a 2x6 wall), and the edge-to-edge glass gives it a sleek, modern look that really elevates the space. I also appreciate how the controls are hidden — it keeps the design clean. The heat output is impressive too, especially with the Heat Boost feature, which comes in handy on chilly evenings. And when we just want the ambiance without the heat, that’s an option too.
The "ice ember" bed adds a nice sparkle without being too flashy, and it stays cool to the touch, which makes it a safe choice with kids around. Overall, it’s stylish, easy to use, and adds that cozy vibe we were looking for — without the hassle of gas lines or venting.
Highly recommend if you're looking to add both form and function to a room.

Great! Works even in NJ
I thought that these propane fire pits were mostly for mansions in California but guess what, they also work great in a regular back yard in NJ. End of the summer when temperature gets lower and we don't feel like starting a wood fire, it's extremely pleasant to press a couple buttons and have a nice fire going while having a drink by the pool. And the dog loves it too. Thanks Tiffany for the quick delivery and good deal.
