The policy continued to include my husband who Frontier knew and had acknowledged over a year ago had passed away in July 2025.
I had been told to change any details that were in blue and incorrect which I did eg Changes that there is one other person living at the property. ( I live here on my own.)There are two bathrooms not one. None of this had been changed on my final insurance and I already paid extra to record the changes. The support team and chat tried their best to support me and replied promptly to any requests or concerns. I did find it frustrating that I couldn't actually speak to someone but I guess this is one way Frontier are able to keep their premiums so reasonable.

We are very sorry for the distress and frustration this has caused, particularly given the sensitive circumstances. We completely understand why seeing your late husband’s details still showing on the policy would have been upsetting.
We have raised the issue with our Technical Support Team, who are currently investigating why the details did not update as expected.
Regarding the changes to your policy, we can see that you were in contact with our Support Team, who provided step by step guidance to help you update the information. A revised quote was initially retrieved with the amended details; however, at that stage the changes had not been completed and confirmed, so they had not yet been applied to the policy.
Once our Support Team guided you through the remaining steps and the change was confirmed online, the policy was successfully updated. We can confirm that the policy is now solely in your name and the requested changes have been completed. The updated documents have been emailed to you.
We sincerely apologise again for the distress, confusion and inconvenience this situation has caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked with you to get the policy corrected, and while our Technical Support Team continues to investigate the original issue.

Shambolic system, broken promises, and radio silence—avoid!
Absolute nightmare experience. I purchased a policy, but the generated contract papers were broken with programming errors ("NaN" text codes). I raised this with Frontier, and on 8th of September, they explicitly got back to me promising they would fix the error. They completely failed to do so.
Following that promise, they cut off all contact, left their portal broken, and went completely radio silent. Because they refused to fix the contract or communicate, I had no choice but to serve a formal Notice of Cancellation on 17 September before the policy even started.
They have completely ignored my cancellation and are withholding my £232.75 premium for a service that never even began. They have zero customer service phone lines. I have been forced to log a formal chargeback dispute through HSBC just to claw my money back from them. Avoid this company at all costs.

We can confirm that your policy has been cancelled. We also acknowledge your comments regarding a lack of communication. As you specifically asked us not to contact you, we respected your request and therefore did not respond to your subsequent email.
You have also raised a formal complaint, which is currently being investigated by our Complaints Team. Once their investigation is complete, they will provide you with a Final Resolution Letter addressing the concerns you have raised.
We sincerely apologise again for the incorrect “NaN” wording within your documentation and for the frustration this situation has caused.

What a breath of fresh air Frontier are. Ive been buying home insurance for 45 years and this has to be the clearest,easiest, and most comprehensive insurance portal I have ever used. Ive been able to list,record & apply photos to everything I need insurance for and amazingly it also came with the cheapest quote I could find. I hope next year the premium isnt inflated by 25% as my previous insurance companies always seem to do. If they maintain their premiums at a decent level I will cewrtainly renew with them next year.
