This may work for others but it doesn't work for me.
If I could rate lower I would. They tried the wrong item number crap on me and then the damage they claim it had was pure bs. Telling me the HD does not respond, keyboard wont work.I turned that certain computer on and it signed on to the net and worked fine the keyboard needed replacing but that was it, Damage they claim was there was not and an original payment of 143 went down to less then 30 dollars.They things they claim were wrong were so far off.I am demanding my laptops back from them.
I would like to comment on the fact the laptops were not in that condition when sent they had normal wear and tear. I am not the only person who ever had issues with this place. I am getting the laptops back and this issues needs to go no further. Changes have now been made to this posting I remove stuff that they asked me to remove and I have. The matter has been resolved we can all move on now.

Tami, we appreciate your feedback, however, we must disagree with comments above. Unfortunately, your devices were significantly misrepresented online, which resulted in quote adjustment. Two out of four laptops you sent in had liquid damage. One arrived with cracked screen. And the Sony unit is way too old, and does not qualify for a trade-in (customer picked wrong model online).

I would recommend this company to anyone and I'll most definitely use them again. Free UPS shipping, with easy to use tracking. They also give you updates as you move along. If you have a chase bank account thru transfer the money right over right away. They approved my item fast and it's one of the best services I ever used!

Terrible reimbursement.
Told me that I had the wrong model in which it wasn't. Cut my selling price from $60 to $30. The whole process took 3 weeks. No respond to emails sent and did not allow me to keep my laptop instead of accepting the $30

Total fraud
Don't do business with this company. It's a total fraud. They give you high estimates for your electronics to get you to send your devices to them. Then, they come up with all sorts of bogus problems during their "inspection" and issue you a much lower purchase price. At that point, you're stuck--either you accept their absurdly low revised offer or you have to pay to have your devices shipped back to you. Again, this is a total fraud.

Hello Eric, we're sorry that your experience with us did not go as you expected, but as we explained by email, the initial quote changed because your laptop did not have a valid operative system. There's an option on our online calculator that says "software issues". Checking this box would've gotten the right quote.
We've also reached out to you several times before we issue your payment, as it is part of our process for you to accept the quote before payments are made. You also have the option to have your laptop send back to you at no cost at all. Please email us to shipping@gadgetsalvation.com to have your laptop returned to you at no cost.

Low offer but great and outstanding service
I just thought the items were brand new and could have been rated a little more than the offer given. These gadgets I sold were brand new and has never been used. Christmas presents. Could have been given a higher offer. That's my only draw back. But in general excellent and great service...

Easy way to get rid of old tech
I had a old netbook lying around, so rather than just recycle it, I thought I'd see what Gadget Salvation would give me. Their website made it quick and easy to send in my netbook for free and get a few bucks. Will use them again.
