I had a one year old laptop that was quite literally used three times that I wanted to sell; Best Buy offered me $100. While what I ultimately received did not match the original estimate, it was still well in excess of this figure. I do think I was treated fairly and this process is ridiculously easy. Had a problem locating my final offer that was resolved immediately via live chat; payment was sent within five minutes of acceptance. Short story long, I've just become a repeat customer!

I think it was fair what I was offered for my laptop. I didn't receive as much as originally thought but I wouldn't have received anything from goodwill or the trash. So thank you.i will be even more pleased when I see the check.

I am somewhat disappointed in your program for the simple fact that
I sent an item that was never used at all, brand new even, just outdated by a few years and had the original box with it, your program quoted me an
acceptable amount but re-quoted it after inspection stating that it had scratches and that some sensor on it had worn out. It was as if they had to
find something wrong with it to not pay the initial quoted price. I accepted the new quote anyway because I got the phone free only paying shipping cost for it, so it was a total gain for me after selling it to the gadget program.

After trying a different site, I was pleasantly surprised by how much faster Gadget Salvation was, and their offer was much better!

Obviously, I sold 2 computers that were older. They were in excellent condition, in original packing & boxes along with all manuals, etc. They informed me that battery life was shorter and found a "sticky" letter key and reduced the quote for BOTH computers to the quote they had given me for ONE computer. So got half of their original quote. Should have known there as something up when their quote was $10 higher than other competitors.

Gadget Salvation definitely did their job and did it well. After sending in an aging laptop, I was offered a requote that, while quite lower than what I was estimated online, was coupled with logical and understandable notes as to why the price dropped. My only nag was the one-way nature of contact. Though a phone number was provided, I was unable to reach the company through said number, instead falling back on online messaging support for my questions. All in all, it was a good service that I could recommend to my friends when they move from one laptop to the next.

When I decided to sell my 2011 Sony Vaio laptop, I researched many companies because a lot of these places are all scams. What I loved about gadget salvation is you can text them, and they respond immediately and help you with any questions. They valued my laptop as up to $172..but since i checked off that the battery was damaged, they offered up to $112. When i sold it to them, they assessed it at 37 dollars. I was a bit taken back because that's quite a disparity, especially when they added a list of things wrong with my laptop. They should have included those things in the check off list, so I'd have a better idea what I would get, however, they didn't. They mentioned dirty keyboard which definitely was not true. but the battery wasn't working and that I checked off. As i said, there weren't options for anything else. It's a bit misleading when you go to sell your laptop and they only list a couple of problems when you go to assess your laptop. Another problem they said was my laptop was slow running, which also devalued it further, according to them. That one surprised me. I feel they were a bit nitpicky with finding stuff wrong, to justify devaluing it further. However, i decided to sell it for the 37 dollars because it was collecting dust at home, and i didn't want to buy a new battery for that laptop. Also, none of the cash for laptop sites turned up reputable. Some don't even pick up the phone! Not bad if you want to sell a computer but just don't expect a lot. They are great at sending the check in the mail within a few days.

Was given an estimate of $55. Was given $16. False advertising . Will never recommend this site to anyone!

Because it was a laptop, I had to ship in a"laptop box" or they would not insure it.$25 They subtracted from my quote because of a bad adapter...$44 ? They're crooks.

My laptop was not in the best condition, but I was still paid $13. It had a lot of problems! I know you think that $13 wasn't much, but it was. I had a defective screen, overheating, cracks, and broken RAM. I was going to just throw my laptop away, but I chose to earn a few bucks with Gadget Salvation. The quote was legit and the payment process was quick and easy. This was my first time using this company, and I plan to use it again.

Had a newish laptop with a small crack on the screen, and didn't totally boot up, and wanted to get rid of it. The offer of $27 was okay.. for a $1200 computer and I sent it in, and they reevaluated it and gave me an offer of $4. I only took it because I didn't want the hassle of dealing with it any further. The $27 was rough, the $4 was a joke.

They offered em $1000 for my laptop it had slight wear and tear what do you expect from a 3 year old laptop. They lowered their offer to $336.

At first they offered me 200 but then I ended up getting only 70 for my MAC laptop, I didnt think it was in that bad of condition. But they did send me my check straight away after I accepted my price and it wasn't a scam! Thanks

This company is a joke. My 8 year old laptop which was in very good condition, was unduly downgraded from $64 to $16. The $16 barely covered the packaging materials I purchases to ship the laptop. I sent an extra plug and cord which was lose, the other worked perfect and they apparently only tried the lose one. They intentionally looked for every little reason to downgrade the value of my device and unduly so. Yellowing of the screen? Really? It's an 8 year old laptop.
Do not trust this company.

The quote they gave me for my used laptop was much higher than the amount the actually offered when they received it. They should have provided more details on how to evaluate my computer so I could accurately assess the condition. For example, my battery was totally functioning but apparently it had too many charge cycles so they counted it as non functioning. Nowhere on their website did they tell me to check the charge cycles, so how was I to know that was something I should report to get an accurate quote? They also mysteriously said my wifi and DVD player weren't working when they both worked for me.

They were very rude in their responses to me regarding the offer they were giving me, they offered me less then a quarter of what the devices were worth and then expecTed me to pay for the shipping both ways when I did not accept their offer. Other competitors such as Buy Back World were much better to deal with and returned items at no charge. I would never recommend gadget salvation to anyone.

Sent my iPad on Friday, and already got my PayPal deposit today (Tue)!! That was quick. Oh, I also loved that you can walk into any UPS store and have your devices packaged and shipped for free, gadget salvation paid for everything.
I will definitely be back with more stuff to sell :)
