I had sold another laptop to cashforlaptops and had a bad experience. They gave a very high initial quote but their offer was about 20 percent of that amount. When I said send it back they offered more but it was an obvious scam. Gadget Salvation discussed my laptop and said here is what we think. When it showed up they said it was 'as described' and their quote was exactly the same as the initial estimate. No delays, no revisions, just an easy procedure. Highly recommended.

As someone from the Mac community, I had not given much thought to how to find a new home for a PC until a few months ago when I suddenly needed to sell a couple of PCs I no longer needed. I was delighted to find Gadget Salvation through an online search. I had previous experience with Gazelle and was pleasantly surprised to find the experience much the same as I was used to. I recommend this company highly.

It was easy to submit the information about my laptops, and I printed my shipping labels and sent the laptops right away. A few days later I received my check. I would recommend this site.

The actual amount offered was half of the original amount. It is impossible to dispute their claims of product fault once they have the item. For instance, they claim one of my laptops overheated after 15 minutes and turned itself off. I had used it within the week of shipping for hours to transfer files off, so I know that statement is untrue. But it becomes a he said/she said situation. And after they've halved the offer, if you disagree with their false assessment, you have to pay to have your items returned to you. I would NOT recommend them to anyone looking for an trustworthy selling experience. If you'r prepared to be lied to and undersold, then go right ahead.

I got an email telling me that I would not be getting the almost $200 that they quoted me on AFTER I already sent my product in, but I would be getting $20 instead. I sent in a laptop mind you. In the email there was no "I want my laptop back" option, only a "confirm amount" option.

I was quoted a price which I thought was low but fair considering I bought that laptop new only a year ago but when I sent it in was quoted another price lower. I only accepted because I didn't want the hassle of a return. After reading your reviews I see that this your m.o. Should have read reviews first. My bad.

They are very nice and have great personality even over email. Just be aware that if your gadget isn't in perfect condition you aren't going to get the money for it. Nothing they noted about my product wasn't wrong with it; however I also hadn't said it was in perfect condition to start with. If you are just wanting to sell your product it is a good alternative.
