Not able to freeze account following fraudulent use

Account hacked, notified of fraudulent purchase by email, no clear way to report fraudulent activity and suspend account- telecom after on hold for 30+ mins. Promise that would be referred to supervisor and action taken. No response and 2 days later second fraudulent purchase .. account was not blocked. subsequently have deleted all payment details and changed password -- can not delete account because activity being investigated, did receive auto mail telling me my issue resolved -- a farce and asking for positive feedback -- no faith in customer service nor ability to limit material loss by taking prompt action. DO NOT TRUST WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

Atrocious Customer Service Is Now a Sport at Lazada!

Khoerul, a manager at Lazada, followed up on my case.

He closed my case without dealing with the contents of my email that I sent on 24 June 2024.

What sort of “manager” makes assurances and refuses to keep them, shutting down an email correspondence without resolving the issues within?

Zero sincerity at all; it is no wonder the service at Lazada has plummeted the way it has when managers behave in such a deplorable manner.

Escalate my complaint to a higher echelon without delay and arrange a call-back. This is sickening.

Atrocious customer service is now a sport at Lazada. Save yourselves!

For the hell that Lazada has repeatedly put me through in the last couple of days, they do not deserve a single star.

I connected with Russ yesterday, who repeatedly refused to assist and connect me to a manager. After one hour and forty-seven minutes, a “Hardy” (with a fake American accent) claiming to be the manager finally came on the phone, and he was immediately beyond rude and antagonistic.

Hardy was utterly unapologetic, stating that it was his day off (Why are you at the Call Centre then?), and that was why he refused to take my call and thought it fine to make me wait for almost two hours. Within a minute of taking my call, he ended the call abruptly while I was in mid-speech (like Irish on 13 June 2024), without assisting me in the least because I questioned his atrocious treatment.

I then connected with Arc, who put me on hold for one hour and six minutes, staying absolutely quiet, before he also abruptly ended the call.

How is this the standard of the Lazada Call Centre in this day and age? Such agents and managers only sully the brand. Managers ought to set an example; Hardy’s outrageously disrespectful behaviour and attitude towards Lazada consumers diminish any hope of receipt of decent service from CSOs, who will emulate him and render such behaviour acceptable. I know I am not alone from the numerous complaints written in a similar vein all over the internet.

Lazada’s service is so exceedingly horrendous, Lazada has to know and is doing absolutely nothing about it. Sickening hubris and complacency.

I am now requesting a pick up of ALL items I purchased during the 6/6 Sale under my account. I spent hundreds during the 6/6 Sale. Since Lazada wants to brazenly and repeatedly treat its customers with such utter disrespect and disdain, I will take my business elsewhere.

Steve, a supervisor I connected with on 13 June 2024, gave me the assurance that the manager, John, would give me a call-back within the day. I received no such call-back. All my calls with Lazada are fully recorded.

Steve sent me an email with no case number in the subject and the following ridiculous message that disallows me from being able to properly follow up via email in spite of being grossly inconvenienced twice with my call with Irish, dated 13 June 2024, lasting 1 hour 6 minutes and my call with Albert and Steve on 14 June 2024 lasting 1 hour 38 minutes, respectively (Such abhorrent inefficiency; no surprises for long waiting times to connect):

“This is an automatically generated email - please do not reply to this email.”

I am utterly disgusted by the repeated atrocious handling of my issues. I immediately sensed Steve was patronising me, especially when he did not sign off in the email, dated 14 June 2024, that he generated, and as it turns out, it is indeed the case.

This entire debacle began because of Lazada representatives’ refusal to honour the free pick-up service of the following transactions:

Worst customer service!!

Despite numerous phone calls and emails it appears impossible to return faulty and in my case misleading merchandise. Will never use this platform again and warn others to avoid at all costs!!

Lazada has the worst customer service on earth. The calls are not answered and the agents cannot resolve problems. My item for refund shows pending collection but 13 days has passed and no one from Lazada or Ninja Van has contacted mt to collect the item. Ninja van says the return request had to raised from Lazada. The chat bot is USELESS. Worst nightmare dealing with Lazada customer service- incompetent and inefficient with average waiting time of 30 mins

Lazada customer service is the worst I have ever come across. My goods were not delivered as promised and the seller KeKe.sg clicked that it was delivered so that I will not automatically get a refund. I've been trying to get a refund since 31/05/24. It has now been almost a week just trying to get an answer. I contacted 4 customer service officers, Melissa, Remille, Josh and Yenna. They just go through the motion on their list asking all kinds of questions . They do not actually listen to your concerns. All my emails to them went unanswered. I had provided proof that I had screenshots of my conversation with the seller KeKe.sg that showed that he willingly clicked that the goods were delivered when it was not. This is so that I automatically will not get my money back. I requested to speak to their manager but I was denied. I was given all kinds of excuses.
1) Their computer system was down and they did not know when it was going to be repaired. 2) Manager is busy and cannot answer my call. He may or may not call me depending on how busy he is. 3) We cannot send you an email to say that you will get a refund etc. I find this online buying platform very dodgy now. I was never like this when they still had local staff to attend to you. It seems like they have outsourced the customer service to the Philippines. I will think twice about ordering from Lazada again.

Rip off restaurants
Unhelpful apartment lease agents
So I am quitting Singapore.
These companies are bad for Singapore. The Singapore government should do something about them - shut them down.

lazada is lousy service provider that indirectly cheats consumers

lazada has extremely bad customer service and they are defrauding customers indirectly. I have a very bad experience with them and lost more than 150bucks buying items from them and never received them. They dont bother responding and rectifying the issue and takes no ownership of the service they are providing.

Lazada accused me of doing something I did not do

I joined as a Lazada seller last year, seeking to explore e-commerce as a newcomer. However, shortly after setting up my store and conducting trials, Lazada impounded it, alleging that I duplicated a listing from another store of mine. Despite numerous email exchanges and chats with their customer support, they consistently provided no further explanation, leaving me frustrated. If others share similar experiences, I encourage them to voice their concerns. Subsequently, I opened a seller account with Shopee, which offered a significantly more positive experience.

Really not help support team. I paid money and didn’t receive item two times. One time let it be take as an accident but second times also same and support team ask me talk to seller. Seller also didn’t show any proof of I received. Only their system show.

Lazada qc suck big time

Lazada qc suck big time. Cancel seller listing after selling for four years. Reaching out to them to resolve the issue,they don't care and useless. Anyhow ban sellers over small minor things and refuse to resolve it when u clarify with them. Absolutely useless and disgusting behavior.

Didn’t receive my order but it was marked “delivered”. Contacted lazada but no one bother to reply. After this extremely bad experience, will not buy from Lazada again except no choice. I bought a iPhone 15 from their Apple…

I bought a iPhone 15 from their Apple Flagship Store, realized that the store sent me a display phone, which is not a Brand New phone, they rejected my refund request as the box was opened? If I don’t open it how I know the seller is cheating customer to buy their display phone ⁉️⁉️⁉️ the seller will put a fake label on the box to attempt the customer to tear it, then they can reject refund request . Even you sent them proof how the seller cheated customer, they won’t bother to listen or contact the seller .

DONT TRUST Lazada Protection Act, they will only protect seller to cheat customer ‼️
When you have problem with the items, their customer service just keep saying the same things, always say sorry and no worries, we will take action and process the refund.
But end up, rejected your request, and force customer to accept it, if not then scolding you to stop making requests , because they are not going to reply you anymore ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

Such terrible app, will never ever purchase any products from them ‼️

Bad experience with lazada customer service. I purchase goods, but delivery delay again and again. I even select 7-11 as collection point, but thr remark given to me is traffic busy, what rubbish is this. It has been nearly a month. No solution, only answer is WAIT. Even asking for refund also cannot as they said good is on the way !!

Unreliable and untrustworthy

From 30 December 2023, up till now, I've been purchasing items from 44 various sellers and each seller, sometimes even buying 10 or more of the same products. Most of the sellers are honest and polite. However, there are a few that have sent me items in empty packaging. Some of these were cancelled by Lazada itself as there were no movements from some sellers. Many time, I have to ask for refunds because of this. Recently, when I asked Lazada to refund me the items that were delivered empty, they refused to refund me as I had reached the quota of refunds. I even called them several times to mention that these sellers are frauds but still nothing was done. I am a foreigner, and for the items that I purchased, require me to get a tax invoice so that I can show it to the GST counter to get my refund. I called Lazada to explain to them why I needed those invoices 8 times. Mentioned that they will send it but never did. Asked me to go to the orders pages and get the receipt or contact the sellers myself. I tried to get the receipts online but it were only invoices and not tax invoices. After, my 8th call, they decided to send the invoices but not tax invoices. Called again today and was told by the agent that Lazada no longer issues tax invoices. Reason? It's been already some time that no tax invoices are sent anymore. I told the agent, 2 days ago, the items that were sent came with a tax invoice via my email. If out of 44 different products that i purchased, only 13 tax invoices were emailed to me and not the ones that i had spent more that $150. Her response: If you want, contact the sellers. Sent 5 messages to sellers. Only 2 responded that it's for Lazada to provide the tax invoices. Called them back again. Same talk. When some of my items were refunded, it comes to my bank account, maximum 3 days. I had bought this particular item from a seller and Lazada itself cancelled it. From 31 January till this very day, it shows pending refund. I had called everyday to ask about this and was told to give my bank details. Why is this so when all the other refunds are made to my bank account promptly. It's also illegal to ask for anyone for their bank account details with so much frauds and scams. Still, I provided all the information as I didn't want to lose my $232. They insisted that they had refunded me the $153 but the other one is still pending. I went through all my bank details and going through each purchase I had made from Lazada from 31 January till 16 February. No refunds done on 31 January till this date. The balance of the other refund was still showing pending. Called them 9 times regarding this. Asked me to wait for 5 to 15 working days, since it was only since 11 February the refund was processed. When I called yesterday, the agent told me that if I do not receive the refund by latest last night, to call again today. I checked my bank account details and nothing. I called this afternoon and the agent hung up on me. Called again and waited for a long time for another agent. From Saturday till today, all agents told me to wait for 15 working days except the 1 who said to call back today, if the refund is not done. I specifically told all the agents that I won't be here to follow that up as I'm leaving Singapore on 26 February. They all said to call back. I told them that once I leave Singapore, I can no way contact them. They replied speak to a live agent. I told them that everytime I do that they keep saying all the operators are busy or you have 1 person ahead of you and the page never changes the position. I've even once waited for 1 and a half hour and still the same thing. I asked them if there was an email address that I can send to. The answer was no. I have even called my bank to dispute these transcations and ask if there were any refunds and the bank told me to get Lazada to contact them. I conveyed this message to them but they still insisted that I should call the bank. I'm so sick and tired of this and I just want my money back asap. I've learnt a very lesson and have decided not to ever make any more purchases from this kind of unreliable and lying company called Lazada. Even when I told this statement to the agent, she never even bothered to apologise. This is the last time I will ever make a purchase from them. Buyers, please avoid Lazada as cautionary advice. Please take your purchases some place else where it's truthful and trustworthy.

Why not approve the refund when it’s cancelled?

As online consumer with Lazada for past 2 years, I never have any issue. But since the Lazada retrenched their staff in beginning of 2024. Their quality dropped. I started not receiving goods that stated delivered. Straightforward refund approval for cancellation order by seller a month ago still pending. The pleasure of online shopping become a hassle when I have to keep track the number of refunds they own me and their agents resorted to taking my personal bank account details to resolve the refund matters. It’s daunting to shop in Lazada now.
