Lazada do not deserve even 1…

Lazada do not deserve even 1 star. They used to be a great platform to shop at, but not anymore! They prioritise money more than the well-being of its customers.

I bought an OSIM uPulse Mat EMS Leg Massager after reading about it on its website on 11 November 2022. I am suffering from leg pains for almost a year and on the website, OSIM promises that the mat will combat various leg problems including pain relief. The mat supposedly "utilises Electrical Muscle Stimulation that delivers muscle-deep invigorating massage" (as quoted on OSIM's website).

I have tried it numerous times at the highest intensity level and I did not feel anything at all. I reached out to OSIM, and the customer service person said that my feet is too dry and I need to wet my feet. On OSIM website, there is no mention about it not working on dry feet and they fail to mention that the mat does not work for everyone.

I then wrote in to Lazada regarding my situation and was assured that my issue will be looked at. After going back and forth for several weeks, the final decision was made that the mat is in working condition, and since it's not a faulty item, they will not issue me a refund.

I've highlighted my issue several times that it has nothing to do with a faulty mat. My issue is that the mat is incompatible with my feet. I even tried to do damp my feet, although I find it to be ridiculous and I still don't feel anything even when it was set at the highest intensity level.

On 13 December, I received an email from your dispute team and said they've rejected my claim for a refund because they found that mat is in working condition (again missing the point that the mat is incompatible with me), and OSIM will ship the mat back in 3 to 5 days.

First of all, both OSIM and LAZADA are missing the point that the mat is incompatible with me. I have sent them videos of it and I am at my wits end to prove to you that it is incompatible and it doesn't deliver the results that OSIM promises on its website. How else can I put this across so that you can understand me?

Also, as OSIM has rejected my claim for a refund, and they were supposed to return me the mat in 3 to 5 days as of 13 December, I still have yet to receive the mat. What is going on?

The Lazada website is a disgrace

The Lazada website is a disgrace, anyone who works at Lazada in the web dev team should take a hard look in the mirror and say why am I wasting my time at this company.

I dont blame the team, the leaders, and directors are the ones who are to blame for this total piece of garbage.

I wont waste your time or mine by pointing the issues out as there are hundereds... Having worked in IT for more than 25 yrs all i can say is; I wish any of these other online traders who are not much better could take market share should they provide a service that actually makes you want to shop there rather than by painful need too...

1 example only. This one i have raised maybe 20+ times over the last year via calls via chat bot. Still not fixed... Never used PayNow, never will.. Yet they keep forcing you to do this. Every time have to go click CC, then if you change anything, like delivery date or delivery speed the STUPID thing resets back to PayNow. Now if you get caught out and press "Place order" without changing it AGAIN. You loose your order.... You have to go back, search for item, cart item, then pay item again.... a waste of 5min for pure stupidity......

15 day guarantee - what a joke

I bought a suitcase in march 2022, used it in the summer. I just took it out of the cupboard - the rubber on 1 wheel is falling apart. Poor manufacturing - very simple. Lazada refused to consider any compensation - you have a 15 day guarantee - not even long enough to use your suitcase. That is a joke and should be illegal. Last time I buy this kind of product from Lazada.

1 Order, 2 Deliveries (Or 3 since one item is missing)

Lazada SG forced split my order into 2 without my knowledge and consent, one to be delivered by seller, the second to be fulfilled by Lazada/Ninjavan.

The delivery by Ninjavan came incomplete as well.

Customer Service Agent Janner left the chat twice without addressing my concern. I believe that it was because it was already past the chat center's closing of 11pm.

Every time I requested a call back, Janner left the chat. I find this behaviour absolutely deplorable, horrific, and disgusting.

SUCKS SERVICE !

To me, LAZADA is simply plain sucks. I ordered something at LAZADA due to mistake. As such, I wanted to cancel the order (Just a few hours after I had placed order and Seller has not shipped my items). Seller is very nice and allowed me to cancel it. But LAZADA declined the cancellation. Why huh? Seller agreed, Buyer agreed. WHO IS LAZADA TO DECIDE CANNOT THEN? SUCKS !!

Horrible!! Minus 5 stars rating

I ordered 10 bottles of cherry juice from Mama Shop for 2 weeks which never came and got cancelled without my authorisation. I called Speedpost to enquire why delivery was on hold for few days to realise it was damaged and had to be returned. Speedpost staff told me that someone will call me about the replacement. Nobody did.

I called Lazada and seller that I dont want a cancellation but a replacement as had already waited 2 weeks. Both said that couldn't be done.

I wasted time ordering and waiting, chasing Speedpost for few days, staying at home waiting for delivery which never came but got cancelled with an untrue reason - wrong delivery address!! It wasnt my first time ordering from Lazada.

I will have to think thrice if I want to order from them again!

Lazada auto cancelation despite seller already updating Lazda

Lazada system screwed up and auto canceled your order despite the seller already contacting Lazada that they had shipped out the order and was unable to update their system.

Really makes me wonder what are the employees in Lazada for if they couldn't even do a manual intervention to help update the system so that their wonderfully flawed coding does not auto cancel orders after 7 days of being stuck.

There is 0 compensation from Lazada except telling you there is nothing they can do and would just feedback to the department to prevent such thing from happening. To me its all just paying lip service as I am sure I am not the only person that had encountered such issue before.

Lazada slow in action against fraud / scammers

Lazada slow in taking action to scammers.
My order $1699 SGD Sterra Tankless water was indicated as delivered.
Didn’t receive the item. Difficult to contact Lazada, live agent said able to refund. Submit a request But was declined . Lazada just indicated Due to Lazada policy . Saw another buyer post the same review also, about be scammed. Till now the sellers advertisement was not taken down. I Do not trust anymore. Will file to case about this issue.

Did not receive my purchase

Yes, there are scammers in LAZADA. Please be careful. My purchase wasn't delivered to me but status already indicated as delivered and accepted. I am going to make a police report. Giving up on Lazada. There is no function inside to protect consumers....it should allow consumer to acknowledge if they have received product or not.

Average and contantly going worse...

I buy from them on and off for many many years already. They have bright moments and some good things but overly, I don't really recall a single significant improvement for a better.
Recent example: reinforcing PayNow Transfer as the default option. Half of my purchases I have to repeat because if you don't notice it is set again to PayNow, you would need to wait half a hour before the session expires. The person who designed it this way was a true genius.
I already moved with the groceries from Redmart because it was raining outside and the whole order was cancelled (sudden unavailability of all good you order). Plain, blatant lie or what?

Dishonest Process and Poor Customer Service

Coincidentally, I have 2 return items from Amazon whereas my wife have 2 return items from Lazada. Amazon's return date was 24 Oct and a courier man dropped by my place and collected my 2 items. He didn't have the return tracking number and despite my repeatedly reminder that this is return for Amazon, he took my items and left. It was later realized that this courier man was sent by Lazada.

My wife called Lazada to get the 2 items back but they refused to return them, citing that once the items are returned to them, it belongs to them regardless whether the items are theirs or otherwise.
Moreover, the customer service man was very rude and told my wife that he needed to educate her on how their Lazada process works.

I proceeded to close my account with Lazada and I will advise anyone from shopping at such dishonest store. Save yourself the headache and trouble.

Got scammed, Lazada is protecting scammers

Ordered 2 phones and got a piece of straw. Complained to Lazada and all I got is return item to seller.

Filed a complaint against the seller as there was another victim of the same tactic but got ignored.

Finally, filed a police report. I don't know if I will ever get a refund.

Lazada is just protecting scammers inside their platform. Don't use Lazada.

Pathetic

Pathetic. Delivered faulty item. Then when requested for return courier person took wrong parcel at the doorstep without informing. Customer service is Pathetic, rude , no knowledge. Will never use lazada again. Shoppe is a much better platform.

Lazada customer service Tom does not…

Lazada customer service Tom does not bother about the furniture that is delivered with a big hole. Supplier also is not willing to refund me because they say it is past the delivered status. But when lazada sent me a text that furniture is delivered, I did not receive it till 3 weeks later! How to report within 7days of the delivered status when I have not even received my furniture? DO NOT USE LAZADA TO BUY BIG TICKET ITEMS.

Will unsubscribe with Lazada next. I ordered water (S$60+) and they delivered a facial mask; ordered 1 carton of mineral water (24 total) and only deliver 1-pack of 5!! Not even deserved to get 1-star rating...should be ZERO!!!

These are the genuine case based on my online shopping with lazada. Very bad follow up customer service. Did not follow instruction when ask for calling back service to me. Call several times, telling them to ask the agent that had spoken to me. End up, no calling back, no rely email despite I had already sent them an email attached with the package numbers, order numbers, wrong item photos and etc.
No reply, no call back, no follow up. Is like vanish in e air. Literally, the one that spoken to me seem like vansh. Asking for calling back on the investigation. Only reply from other agents, is already in the email but then, none knows nothing. Best worst customer service. Top best no reply, no answer, no follow up customer service for online platform. If your items deliver correct, no issues with them, But if your items goes deliver missing or wrong, alot of no issues from them. Delaying the process of investigation, no reply, no answer and no follow up and is like the agent or customer service officer you had spoken to gone missing and you never get a call or reply back from them neither on phone or email. And everytime they only ask u, the agent name and when you give them, say wil ask him/her to call you back but never call u bck. Wrong item still with you and e item that you order, you never get an answer from them oh how real help from them. My advice after this online experience with the platform make me think more than 3 times to order from them. I wont recommend it.

Worse shopping experience.

Some of the products I bought were not based on what they advertised. Lazada allows people to falsely advertise their products.
Redmart when you order with them the order summary and what actually is delivered is completely different. They can choose to cancel anything if they don't want to deliver it. Order 100+ dollars worth of groceries. Only 50 dollars worth of groceries came. You want to charge delivery?
Bad service. Don't bother ordering with them. Go shopee

Terrible service

Terrible service. My refund case is pending since 5th june22 with Lazada and each time i call to check the status it just doesnt move. All customer service executives (Candy, Jayson, Amy) lie to the core and severe by the 48hrs SLA on the email, chat and calls but no action has been taken yet. All i do is keep calling everyday and keep repeating my story. I dont even have the item as i have already returned it and i dont even have my money back since over a month now. one word...TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

On June 6 of lazada sales

On June 6 of lazada sales , I bought five cartons of adult diapers together with lazada and seller vouchers .
A few days later Lazada cancelled the order giving reason as seller did not shipped on time .
It is a stupid reasons to give as during sales promotions period, sales are expected to increase and will take more time than usual to ship not forgetting other platform are also having sales promotion during this period .

Is Lazada using such " tactics" - basically the issuance or various vouchers are "fake" which they know will not be put into effect because they have " all the while have no intention of allowing the sales to go thru ?"

This is not the first time , all the cancellation on my account are done by lazada .

If continue this way , in future sales period , lazada would be my last choice .
When you create a sales promotion hopefully your intention is have as much orders being fulfilled as possible and not waste the buyers time !
Customer service are basically of no help as they are low level without much authority and only can answer from a fixed template which is I refer to which is we feedback the relevant department !
The key is to solve the problem
and not push it away to another department .
As a buyer i am dealing with Lazada and not a partial department .
The right way is to deliver the product at the same price that was originally contracted as long as it is not out of stock or they should have check with the seller whether they can ship and give them an extension since it is a sales period where volume are expected to be higher than normal!
