Rates are poor
I have used LAL for 1.5 years but I am now slowly stepping away from using the platform. The rates are terrible for the expectation of Pharmacy First on top. I am better to negotiate myself than use you guys.

Mediocre
Easy to use app but not much support for locums. Plus it’s absolutely unacceptable that the company is driving locum rates down while the requirements for extra services are constantly increasing.

Ok for new locums
Although very convenient in terms of booking shifts, and quite easy to navigate through the app. The rates for pharmacists are shockingly low, I've seen shift rates for £18-£19 an hour, when other places are £35-£55. Also, customer service is ok, sometimes they can come across a bit rude or ignore your emails but other times they can be helpful

Great in places, lacking in others
The service works brilliantly for Pharmacies where they handle the booking such as Peak Pharmacy. For other pharmacy groups such as Well you can be left waiting for days, even as late as the morning of the shift, to find out you have not got the shift

The notifications element of the app…
The notifications element of the app doesn't work! despite repeated attempts at getting in touch with LAL, nobody has got back to me other then the "we're looking into your query" and "the technical team are looking into it". This was over a month ago. It means you don't get any notifications at all. It's quite poor really their level of customer service.
Their reply is rather unsurprising - phone notifications ARE on and still the notifications don't work!

Unable to negotatiate on most shifts offered and the ones you can negotiate are never accepted.
Rates have drastically got a lot worse since this app has started.
