Worst system I've ever seen!!!
I go to get what I thought would be a QR code to spend down the shops on the morning I'm going (Since I was on annual leave that day). Turns out its not a real gift card its a bloody prepaid mastercard limited to certain retailers somehow. I go to activate it, this may take up to 24 hours. Check back almost 48 hours later and its still not activated. When they finally activate the thing after I contact support I then can't add it to my google wallet to use it as they don't send through the verification text!!!

Stay away from doggy gift cards
Me and my colleagues received a love2shop gift with asda recipt, sadly all of us have a dodgy gift cards, and upon gently scratching some letters if the code appears not printed out or rather fainly printed, same situation with my colleagues cards, I thought this is scamming company as I have sent a recipt I received and the faulty card, at first they answered that my photos are wrong format, then that the recipt is wrong and asked me to go back to Asda and ask for a copy which I did and I sent them copy too, after many days, more and more excuses I received I have given up and seems like our gift cards are for decoration purposes only! I wonder how many people got scammed like that? And yes I do have a recipt of purchas and yet they are saying they unable to open my proof photo lol

Having reviewed the information provided, if the serial number on the gift card does not match the serial number shown on the purchase receipt, we are unfortunately unable to validate the card against the proof of purchase. In these circumstances, we're unable to process a replacement or claim.
We appreciate that this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, but our validation process relies on the card and receipt matching. If you believe there has been an error at the point of sale, we would recommend speaking with the retailer, as they may be able to investigate further.
Update:
As you have now provided us with the correct receipt and this matches your product we have been able to provide you with the code.

Confusing when you think you are buying National Garden vouchers only to find you’ve purchased a love to shop card
I was looking for National Garden gift vouchers and searched on the website and found them. I placed my order to go via email to a friend but then realised when she told me I’d sent her love to shop gift card not national garden gift card so now she has to exchange the love to shop gift card for the garden vouchers. Not a good experience for her and confusing for me when I thought I was buying something different.

Initial purchasing experience was difficult as PayPal held the original payment but the purchase did not finalise. The love2shop customer service was however first rate and they resolved the matter quickly and effectively.

Awful experience using these vouchers!! 🤬 Do not buy them as a gift for anyone you actually like!! If I could give them zero stars, I would!!
Most of the shops advertised DON’T accept these vouchers online,
This is not clear on the website & should be made clearer.
If you try to contact the helpline number provided, you listen to a myriad of options (all connected with purchasing vouchers, not using them) to finally receive information that it is a different number for advice for using the vouchers!!
None of the information provided on the website is helpful for USING vouchers, only purchasing them.
Then, when you come to spend them in-store, if you have a £20 & £10, you can’t just spend £30. You also can’t spend OVER £30 & adjust with cash or pay the excess on a credit card.
You need to spend the £20 voucher on something below £20, then lose any balance . Eg buy an item worth £18.50, lose £1.50
Then do a SEPARATE transaction for the £10 voucher.
DO NOT BUY THESE VOUCHERS AS A GIFT!!
THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!!

This is possible provided you pay the difference first using another payment method, such as cash or a debit/credit card, and then use your Love2shop card for the remaining balance.

I can't say the service is simple and easy to use, not very streamlined for a customer perspective seems like a very elongated process (Download a xlsx sheet > Change xlsx sheet with data that you want > Look for design sheet to find the card design you want > Save document > re-upload document) seems like this process flow could be simplified for a user as having to work off the page they are working upon slows down the order and possibly the lose of sales for the organisation.

It’s a Scam. - Be warned
Given a card as a gift
Doesn’t say it has a 12 month lifespan
Tried to use it at Waitrose but was told by two members of staff that I needed to redeem it for a Waitrose voucher via the company
I’ve rung today only to be told that it is out of date
A partial refund can be made to me
But only via my bank account
Surely it’s a scam
Customer services were helpful.
Like the smile on the face of a tiger.

Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking, what complete waste of money. Son was bought a voucher for his birthday and it's utterly impossible to redeem. Spent 45 mins trying to activate the card to redeem and get an "oops" message with no further instructions
Called the automated number which then asked for a four digit number despite there being no four digit numbers.
I have a very disappointed little boy and I'm sure the people who bought the gift would be disappointed that their money has been wasted. Feels like such a scam. Do better

This card type cannot be added into an online Love2shop account or exchanged for e-gift cards I'm afraid.
