So bad. Don't bother. Unfortunately, I was given one. I purchased a Hobbycraft eGift Voucher. When I tried to use it there was nothing on the balance. I contacted Hobbycraft, they said to contact Love2Shop. I contacted Love2Shop, they said to contact Hobby craft. And back and forth it went. Eventually I spoke with a very helpful lady at Love2Shop. But what a massive massive waste of an hour and a half.

The new website is horrific
The new website is horrific. I'm stuck in a doom loop not being able to exchange or activate a card. I've problems with them before but nothing like this. My guess is this is all about generating underspend which they can then keep as they expire after a year. I'm emailing the company that sent it saying they should stop using love 2 shop.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this company and its cards. It makes it very difficult and convoluted to exchange the cards. The small print on the cards is so small as to be illegible. I tried to convert the card into an e-card and it failed to send me the one time password to my email address. Complete waste of my time.
Someone told me that their business model relies on a significant number of people not using their cards at all, because it is such a hassle.

My wife had the same problem and I seem to remember the last time I had one it's hellishly difficult to use!!
Would give it less than one star - wasting my life trying to activate it.

Absolute rubbish service, card scratch code was missing 3 numbers,customer service said I had to get the receipt of the person who sent me the card months previously, how embarrassing, not doing that. Give them a big miss.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to receive a card with part of the scratch code missing. Unfortunately, in order for our IT team to investigate and attempt to retrieve the missing code, we do require the purchase receipt. The receipt contains specific reference numbers that allow us to locate the transaction and identify the correct card in our system. Without these details, we're unable to retrieve the code.
We appreciate that requesting the receipt may be inconvenient, particularly if the card was purchased by someone else some time ago. However, this is the only way we can investigate the issue and try to resolve it for you.
If you're able to obtain a copy of the receipt, please contact our customer support team and we'll be happy to look into this as quickly as possible.

Love2shop gift cards are a waste of time!
These Love2shop gift cards are a waste of time, they say on the card you can use them online at John Lewis, you can't! Tried to use the Verian physical gift card online, wouldn't work, spoke to John Lewis confirmed they don't take them, looked on the information card that the gift card was attached to, it says exchange for a virtual gift card, off I go to L2shop website trawl all through the nonsense on there and exchange it for a virtual credit card. I had 2 cards so exchanged them both to virtual MASTERCARDS, went back to J Lewis, still won't work, rang L2shop helpline very helpful, talked me through it, still won't work, basically you have to have the exact amount for the item you are buying, i.e a £30 item for a £30 gift card. What a load of nonsense, I was in Marks & Spencer with a £5 card, what a trial that was, check out person had to get a supervisor to sort it out. just embarrassing. I wouldn't buy one of these gift cards for anybody unless I didn't like them. Also I will not in future do surveys where these are the reward for carrying out a survey. In fact I have rang Verian and informed of my views. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!! Only plus side was the helpline, the girl on there sorted everything out, including confirming how useless these cards are, I eventually refunded the useless virtual gift card back onto the not quite so useless physical card with her help. You've been warned! Just as a comparison, I had several John Lewis vouchers and gift cards, took less than 30 seconds to cash in each voucher!
Below is the standard waste of time reply, no admission that their card is not fit for pupose. THERE IS NO WAY I WILL EVER USE THESE CLOWNS AGAIN! JUST READ ALL THE NEGATIVES FOR THIS COMPANY THEY ARE ALL THE SAME, THEY USELESS!

Worst voucher
Worst voucher, got a Flexecard gifted. All online sources state how I can swap it online for a digital one, but I always get the same error message saying how Love2shop cards are managed differently and to check the card. The card takes me to that site, and they only have that site. But says i cant exchange it on that site.. makes no sense

If your card number begins with 63382738 or 63382739, this card is active and ready to use. These cards cannot be added to an online Love2shop account or exchanged for e-gift cards, which is why you are seeing the error message.
You can use your card by presenting it in-store at any of our participating retailers. The cashier will swipe the card and deduct the purchase amount from the available balance. If your purchase exceeds the remaining balance, simply let the cashier know how much is available on the card so they can process the payment correctly.
Some participating retailers also accept the card online. You can view the full list of participating retailers and see which accept online payments here: https://bit.ly/3QS1gIG.

If I could give no stars I would
Literally the worst experience as a customer I have ever had. If I could give no stars I would. "Next day delivery". It has now been 15 days and no delivery. I have spoken to customer service 3 times (at least). I have been told my gift cards will be delivered. I have been told to cancel and reorder. I have been told there is a delivery problem (still unclear exactly what this is). I still have no gift cards!!! How on earth is this business still operating?

I would never recommend this card to anyone
The card gifted to me has been a nightmare to use. It was part of a big special birthday gift but it’s turned that birthday into a nightmare. Half the retailers listed on it no longer take it and it is a “closed card” so can’t be used online or exchanged to an e-gift card with another retailer. £100 wasted.

Won’t allow me to redeem my code through the app and when I go to the contact page to report the issue it just says I cannot submit the request
Needlessly difficult to use should just be a card you can take into the shop and spend on instead having to upload a code to an app which then doesn’t work

Worst system I've ever seen!!!
I go to get what I thought would be a QR code to spend down the shops on the morning I'm going (Since I was on annual leave that day). Turns out its not a real gift card its a bloody prepaid mastercard limited to certain retailers somehow. I go to activate it, this may take up to 24 hours. Check back almost 48 hours later and its still not activated. When they finally activate the thing after I contact support I then can't add it to my google wallet to use it as they don't send through the verification text!!!
