Bought a new campervan in Dec.24 which we both love and the sales staff were excellent.There was a few snagging issues which is common with new vehicles but the service department is very poor.It's difficult to talk to someone in there as they just leave the phone to ring.I had to get in touch with Truma myself(who were helpful)to get a new control panel supplied for the heater but some of the original issues have still not been resolved i.e.very slow flow at the kitchen tap and toilet flush.I was simply told ''that's how they are''which is not good enough.I have decided to get an independent service engineer to do the first service as I have lost confidence in the service department.This will invalidate the 2 year warranty but I think I can do most of the repair jobs better myself(or get a man in if I can't) for less money than the exorbitant cost of a habitation service at Lowdhams.I have already repaired the lounge table which collapsed.Lowdhams really deserve a 1 star rating but I have given them 2 stars because of the excellent sales staff.

Our recent motorhome purchase from Lowdhams in Nottingham was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. We were looked after by Kevin Holmes, who was exceptional throughout the whole process. His warm, welcoming approach, product knowledge, and genuine willingness to help made the purchase completely stress-free. He even recommended an insurance company that beat all our previous quotes — going that extra mile that really makes a difference. Thank you, Kevin.
The handover with Paul was equally impressive. It was thorough, unhurried, and explained with clarity, ensuring we left confident and fully informed.
From the initial enquiry to driving away, the service we received was first-class. We are absolutely delighted with our motorhome and can’t recommend Lowdhams highly enough. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Service carefully carried out by Dillon (Dylan?) who was most helpful in an alarm problem after the service and found an item that I thought I'd lost.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Lowdham’s recently appointed Customer Experience Manager Craig Russell the very same afternoon that we posted our review below:
He was very understanding and completely agreed that the after sales experience we received was not how Lowdhams like to treat customers.
It’s good that they realise this and are addressing their problem.
Craig advised that he is new in the role but is there to improve the customer relationship.
He was very helpful and has already sorted out the missing part for us.
It’s good that they want customers to be pleased with the whole process and come back as returning customers in future.
We are impressed with the quick response and see that they are actually addressing their issues.

We bought an Eriba 430 summer 2025 from Lowdhams.
The sales lady Sandra was very helpful at the time.
We found some small issues with the van and she advised all would be taken care of before delivery.
At the time we were moving house so asked Lowdhams to save the van until we were ready to accept delivery.
She agreed to this and it also gave them time to do the repairs.
They had the van for several months.
When we went to collect it the handover was not ideal.
Done outside in the pouring rain instead of under the covered areas they have.
Even though we asked for the van to be moved so that we could do the handover it wasn’t.
The handover was not pleasant.
We did it in the rain anyway and we noticed that not all the promised rectification work had been done.
They had the van for months and it should have all been ready for us.
Some work had been done where the bed supports were and we were grateful for that but the work was in my mind not good enough so I did more improvements myself at home and it’s much better now.
We were disappointed that not all the repairs had been done and told Sandra the sales manager but no further offer to rectify the issue was offered.
I took it upon myself to do it once we had the van at home.
We went away in the van in November and had some questions about the electrics connecting the fridge.
I called Lowdhams on three occasions to try and get support but their service dept never call back.
I called for a fourth time and reception again tried to just put me through to service but they never answer the phone.
I left several voicemails but nothing in return.
Additionally we noticed that one of the corner light covers was missing.
I have been trying to get one from Sandra in sales who promised to send one since mid November but so far have nothing despite being promised one.
As far as support goes from Lowdhams once they have your money, it seems very poor.
They seem to be very keen to know you when ready to buy but once you have paid then it’s a different story.
Shame because we did start with a pleasant experience but it went downhill since we had paid for the van.

I stupidly reversed my motorhome into an obstruction and damaged the corner of my motorhome. I needed to source a part and I received a very helpful and speedy response fron Vinny Carey at the Nottingham branch. Once I sent photos Vinny instantly knew what I needed. I paid by electronic banking and Vinny ordered it straight away. The part was delivered to my home address even quicker than the stated time. Very pleased with this transaction.

We met the team at the NEC February 2025. Chatted to a super helpful chap called Kevin.
After hiring from Swiftgo for a holiday to see if MoHo life was for us, we bit the bullet December and purchased HiStyle. We’ve had it 3 weeks now and one trip away already and WOW we love it. We tried everything thing out while hooked up.
Would like to thank everyone at Lowdhams for their support. ( I email with lots of questions).
Adam was our salesman but if we hadn’t met Kevin who knows 🫣
One tip- for sure try before you buy, you can learn a lot and make use of the 1/2 refund with in 6 months 👍.

Purchased our new campervan at the NEC show. Receive a warm and welcoming reception from Shirley and Jamie. Being our "first real camper van - VW upgrade". The process of acquisition was explained both simply and professionally by Jamie and Shirley, which put me at ease.
Always kept in the loop regarding developments leading up to the collection of the van.
On the actual day of collection we received a warm welcome from both Jamie and Shirley. We were given a tour of the "ins and outs" during the handover and both Jamie and Shirley explained matters concisely, plus gave reassurance that be there any queries or problems to make contact.
As mentioned, this being our "first real camper van" there were a few minor concerns that I had. These were rectified with ease by the Technicians, at a later visit just to put my mind at ease. Once again reassured that if there were any problems or concerns to get in touch.
Was always treated with the upmost respect and courtesy even though I referred to "Campervan Barry as Campervan Dave" - sorry Dave... I mean Barry!!!
I would like to sincerely thank Jamie, Shirley, the Technicians and all staff at Lowdham's for their professionalism, help and assistance and a rewarding customer experience.

Very friendly and accommodating staff who made it their business to ensure you had a great experience in store. Jamie, our sales person, was always at the end of the phone or email and checked in regularly to make sure everything was ok. Would have given 5 stars but when we picked up our camper there were various things inside the camper that weren’t right and it hadn’t been valeted inside. Also missing bits like some keys, service book etc. It’s all being put right without quibble but it did take a little shine off the handover especially as we were spending quite a lot of money on the vehicle.

All in all my experience was positive, however there was a couple of things which could be improved.
The sale was pretty much there to be had as we had seen the motorhome we wanted at the NEC show so it was only a case of finalising the details. Gordon was very helpful and we was happy to put down the deposit. The communication throughout was very good. We had a little issue which made our collection a week later than we agreed although that wasn’t an issue with ourselves.
On the day of collection the handover went sweet and we took delivery of our lovely new motorhome.
The little niggles I have are that on the previous two purchases I have made from other dealers I received a nice hold-all containing all the paperwork etc along with a bottle of bubbly in the fridge of the vehicle as a thank you. This time I just had all the paperwork loose , nothing to keep it in. Along with this our last motorhome had a starter pack including everything to get you started.
This may not seem like much but I must admit it surprised me as this was actually the most expensive motorhome of the three I have owned.
Like I say, it’s nothing much but it would’ve been nice.

Lowdhams have a huge range of campervans, all staff very knowledgeable. Jamie in particular was very attentive to our requirements. We wanted to upgrade from transit custom van to a larger, spacious campervan. With Jamie’s patience and vast knowledge of what features campervan had we made our choice with confidence. Once our decision was made Jamie remained on the journey with us right through to payment and pick up. Couldn’t have asked for more .

A very layed back attitude and no pressure no body following you round pestering you but there as soon as you need to know something they are pleased to help. No hidden extras everything talked about up front. I will definitely be back keeping an eye on changes and using my discount card and the free camping field.

Just recently purchased an auto trail SE from Lowdhams leisure world. I dealt with Jamie who was brilliant, he wasn’t a pushy sails person and was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and got back to me quickly with any queries after I picked the vehicle up.

From the first moment I spoke to Barry regarding purchasing a new campervan he was helpful and explained every question I asked,from px on my caravan to the handover of my my new campervan,would highly recommend barry and lowdhams for your purchase. I would like to edit this review , I sent e mail to Barry regarding an issue with the poptop with a picture unfortunately barry was away untill new year, i don't expect much but a reply to put me in the corect direction would of been nice as still no reply ,it's now booked in for warranty that I sorted myself , it's a shame that once the sales percon has done the deal they can't help out especially so close to the handover .

Exceptional service and after sales care - the best I've ever had at a dealership from all the the sales team, the service guys and the accessories shop.
The showroom, accessory shop and Beanies cafe are ever-so welcoming and all the staff were friendly, keen to help and knew their onions.

I have given 5 stars for the quality of the work done on repairing my Motorhome and also to Dan Smyth in service, who picked up my case when it was dragging on, and really worked hard to get the work done and keep me informed along the way. I really felt he was my voice in Lowdhams and made a big difference. Up to that point I was getting really frustrated with the service department - it was difficult to speak someone and when I did they could not tell me when the work would be finished - this dragged on for a couple of months after I was originally quoted a few weeks. If it wasn't for Dan's intervention then my experience would have been a lot different. So thanks Dan. On my visit I also saw that Lowdhams is working hard to address this customer service issue and I wish them well.

No communication, telling us our van is still with Swift when we can see on tracker it's at Lowdhams!
Different story i suppose if you are purchasing from them ....they are very keen then!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
