Please pass on our thanks to everyone in the service department and caravan storage team for their help and assistance with our motorhome. We were unable to start the engine due to fuel supply problem and had to be recovered from the storage compound by breakdown and the van taken to the workshop to be looked at.
The staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. Thanks again to everyone concerned.

From our first contact with Lowdam's we felt that we were listened to and supported. Jamie took into consideration our needs and guided us through the full purchase process with honesty, integrity and a sense of humour at times. He kept us fully informed of the manufacturers timelines and updated us as required.
The collection process was efficient and well structured to answer all our questions about our new Sunlight Cliff Adventure 540 campervan. We took advantage of staying a night on the company rally field to make sure we fully knew the ins and outs of the new van.

This is our 3rd Motorhome from Lowdhams. After our 2nd we said we would never buy from them again as the after service was very poor and it took 4 years to get all issues sorted. We bit the bullet as the motorhomes they sell are great and at a very competitive price and they are nearest to our hometown. We are not disappointed this time. The minor issues were all sorted without us needing to go back to them. They sent their mobile technician Paul to us who did a fantastic job. From the sales rep Chris to the Service manager Paul and Paul the mobile technician everything has been great.

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile and every member of staff were polite,
helpful, and had a wealth of experience and could not do enough to help us in a courteous manner.
Stuart, Nathan, Dean and Ryan to mention a few
Amazing people and a credit to Lowdhams.
Jamie who we dealt with in our purchase of our Volkswagen transporter camper could not of been more helpful, kind & knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us.
I can honestly say we have never experienced service like it anywhere and we couldn’t be more grateful and delighted 🤩 with our van.
We now frequently visit the shop as have a large selection of equipment
And a coffee and a scone in their cafe

From first contact to final collection the staff at Lowdhams were great, particularly Nathan. No pushy sales, regular informative contact and always a happy professional manner from all the staff. Dealing with Lowdhams was great like being in a family.
We are completely new to Motorhoming. We had really excellent advice without any pressure selling. Kevin was incredibly helpful and answered our numerous questions. The team were really supportive with the handover - thank you Paul and for following up with us the next morning. Terry in accessories gave us good advice as newbies. Martin in service was professional and knowledgeable. Overall an amazing experience for us. Thank you all. We have booked our first trip this month! No more camping for us!

This is our second big purchase from Lowdhams. The first was a nightmare with far too many visits back and forth to get things resolved. Not so on this occasion. They really have got their act together. From the professional sales contact with Nathan, backed up by superb technical advice and knowledge from Ryan (so refreshing to see someone taking such pride in their work) and the handover process with Shirley. The whole experience was excellent and has restored our faith in Lowdhams as a first class dealership. I never thought I’d be saying that! Yes, they do need to invest more in their after sales service, but so does every other big dealership. Credit where it’s due; something has changed for the better at Lowdhams and the team I dealt with are a true credit to the company.

Our experience was great. We were very well looked after by Kevin Holmes from Lowdhams. He goes the extra mile to ensure any snags are dealt with, and always with a smile and humour. Buying a new vehicle is always challenging but these guys really have been really helpful. Thanks to all the team.

We visited the awning department at the Lowdhams Nottingham site after a couple of phone calls with Dean Brownlow, Shop and Awnings Manager. We were interested in a particular awning and Dean offered to meet us after having put one up for us in advance so we could see it. He went further than that, he waited for us to arrive and showed us how to put it up so we could see how long it really takes. He patiently talked us through every detail and not wanting to presure us he made us a cup of tea and left us to ponder over the purchase. Then, after taking it down he showed us how it should be packed away. We bought the awning and he carried it out to our car for us! Nothing was too much trouble. We'd forgotten what customer service at its best looks like but today we experienced that at Lowdhams Nottingham. Well done!

First Id like to say that the Salesman was fantastic and very helpful during the purchase. The van has had some minor issues that could have been easily resolved if the service department had answered the phone or email. Leave a message the receptionist tells you...... well thats about as useful & helpful as our current Government are.
It tells you a lot about a company with regards to their complete lack of back up once you have purchased. Even the Ever helpful sales man didnt reply.
The problems were resolved by a very helpful group on Facebook who have faced similar lack of support from Hymer @ Lowdhams.
Sad thing is I shall never purchase another item off them. Amazing showroom and facilities but clearly e badly managed.

Sandra in sales and Wendy in storage were both great during the time of our caravan purchase from the initial sale through to later handover, but all other staff we spoke to at the venue and on the phone, or email, were really helpful and attentive. To me Lowdhams is a very professional and well run business.

We arrived at Lowdhams the afternoon before. We were met by Kiran who was happy to book us in for the following morning which simplified things the next day. Our stay in the rally field was good (a short walk to the Anchor for dinner and a peaceful night's sleep). We were notified once the service was complete, Kiran ensured we got answers to our questions, and booked us in for next year. Kiran explained the approach had recently changed and it certainly felt better.

The service centre we found really customer focused in what is a very busy office Kiran our advisor on the day was very clear and explained everything while showing empathy for our concerns. Personally l do not like going to dealers or service but to my suprise the experience was good, Martin in tech was very informative as was Jenny on front desk.

Thanks for responding here now, and the email to me. As the email response too you are referring to a different issue.
2 weeks ago plus I experienced a water ingress through the window. I have taped this up and tried emailing and calling (including images), detailed below, with no response!
I appreciate you now responding following my update here, however you are not responding to the latest issues. Please read my email sent to avoid discussions here. As mentioned always happy to ammend this review to reflect things put right but I'm having no luck communicating with you other than through here it seems and I need this water ingress through the windows resolving.
This is exacerbated by Bailey taking an eternity to source parts so the sooner I can get you guys to look at it the sooner we can then be delayed by Bailey and the less risk of water damage I have to a £40k caravan!
Look forward to hearing from you. The lack of communication is worrying in itself, so I'm grateful even for the response to these messages
EDIT TO BELOW:
Christina has now left. I have a leak in the caravan window, temporary taped but need it resolving urgently.
With Christina gone I've emailed the new contact, main service email, Bailey themselves, called the service centre number, even tried sales number, left messages......nobody has replied its been well over a week....ITS WATER INGRESS!
Seems back to previous poor service now Mark and Christina left. Even tried one of their employees but seems they don't know either. Very Worrying and I need the leak perminantly repairing.
Bailey themselves are slow responders also.
Keeping trying!
We bought our second caravan from Lowdhams back in 2023 and moved from Swift to Bailey.....not much to choose between brands as to be honest both are thrown together and so in the midst of numerous warranty claims for the new Bailey (the swift had similar early claims)!
Lowdhams sales, dealing with Duncan was great.
After sales and warranty is a little bit of a mixed bag. Started off ok but then had some issues (believe there was a management change) where they attempted to charge for nothing items without warning and then having great difficulty getting responses on emails or phone
However, since then I've been dealing with Mark, who was very responsive and helpful and more recently Christina Kerry who has been great at keeping us informed and chasing Bailey, who I'll be honest seem to need chasing constantly as they move at the pace of say a Ford Fiesta pulling a Bailey twin axle (topical) 😁.
Christina has been great and I only hope the warranty works and Bailey are as good as she is at helping and keeping us informed. I hope Lowdhams haven't slipped back into the bizarre scenario they were last time, and trying to charge for inspections and minor warranty considerations without prior warning (I'm sure this was a blip with previous short lived management).
Thank you to Christina, keeping me on the side of positivity, great job.

I brought a caravan in September from Lowdhams however after paying for diamond brite to be applied only to find when I picked it up and took it home the outside was poorly done and rushed. I contacted Lowdhams several times to complain to no avail. However I eventually had contact from a lovely lady in after sales called Christina Kerry , she was so helpful and polite and sorted out my issues within a minute. The day I took the van in again she was so helpful as was the gentleman from the cleaning company that sorted my issues out he was so professional they are both a credit to the company and certainly restored my faith in Lowdhams and I’m now proud to have brought my stunning van from them thank you again Christina .
