my customer had been having problems with there billing due to a few issues. Once i started working with the complaint and escalation person our experience was Seemless. If could give no stars I would an awful company that increase you charges because the bill is not paid on time yet the bill has been paid as soon as received I have been talked down to by a person today he treated me like dirt now I have to contact of Ofgem due to me being constantly overcharged Don’t go with Maxen Power they are terrible

Be Very Careful Before Signing a Long-Term Contract with Maxen Power
I am writing this review to share my experience and to warn other businesses to read the contract terms very carefully before signing a long-term agreement with Maxen Power.
I signed a 3-year business energy contract believing that it would provide a reasonable degree of price certainty. Like many business owners, I accepted a long-term commitment in exchange for what I thought would be protection from major market fluctuations.
However, with less than a year remaining on my contract, I have received notice that Maxen Power intends to significantly increase my gas prices by 75%. The company has explained that this is allowed under clauses 8.1 and 8.2 of its Terms and Conditions, which permit price increases following notice and state that the contract does not provide a fixed-price guarantee.
While I understand that energy markets change, I find it very difficult to understand the purpose of entering a 3-year contract if prices can still be increased dramatically during the contract period. The whole reason many businesses choose a fixed-term contract is to gain certainty and reduce exposure to market volatility.
The 75% price increase being proposed is substantial. If wholesale market movements can be passed directly to customers at any stage of the contract, then businesses should carefully consider whether the contract provides the protection they believe they are signing up for.
My concern is not simply about receiving notice. My concern is that the practical value of a long-term contract appears far less than many customers might reasonably expect.
I would strongly encourage any business considering Maxen Power to read clauses 8.1 and 8.2 in full and ask exactly what protection a 3-year contract provides if prices can still be increased significantly before the contract ends.
I wish I had fully appreciated these clauses before signing. Hopefully this review helps other businesses make a more informed decision.

I recently switched to Maxim Power and, although there were some issues with my bill at the beginning, their customer service team has been very helpful.
They have called me several times to help sort everything out, and I really appreciate the effort and patience they have shown. They seem genuinely committed to resolving the problem.
At first, because they were calling me quite frequently, I actually wondered if it might be a scam! 😅 There are so many scams nowadays that I was naturally a little suspicious.
But so far, they have been very helpful and professional, and the issue is being sorted out. Hopefully, I’ve made the right choice with Maxim Power. So far, so good!
