We cannot recommend MoveStore enough. Cameron and team were professional, efficient, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was a bother - from moving awkwardly shaped furniture to needing last minute storage. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Our belongings were well protected and the level of care when moving our furniture was first class, making sure doors, floors and carpets were also protected during the removal and delivery. Thank you guys for making an already stressful process of moving house so much easier. If anyone’s needing a removals company, look no further than MoveStore!

I cannot recommend MoveStore enough if you are looking to move in Edinburgh! As it was my first time moving I was really unsure of exactly what I would need. Cameron organised a video call to determine how many boxes I would need and give me a very reasonable quote. On the day of moving the team were bang on time and very accommodating. They had all my goods moved very quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service - I truly cannot recommend them enough!

Great stress free service. Cameron and the team were polite, efficient and always kept us informed. They took apart and re-assembled furniture where appropriated and we're always happy to answer questions. Would highly recommend.

From initial phone call, Cameron and James offered a fantastic, professional and efficient service.

Their van and equipment was spotless, they came with covers for doors and every piece of furniture was wrapped and protected.

They made my home move so very easy and made up the bed and dining table, placing furniture and boxes appropriately in each room.

Move Store made sure we felt as relaxed as possible whilst handling the contents of our home during what is always a bit of a stressful process. Their communication was excellent and advice prior to move was helpful. They made sure all fragile items were properly protected and nothing was damaged. On the day the team dealt with us respectfully and went about their work cheerfully. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

What more can you ask for? Prompt, reasonably priced and professional service all the way from the initial quote to move day, they delivered friendly service and the safe transport of our belongings from a 2 bedroom flat to a 3 bedroom house. They certainly took the brunt of stressful moving and made it into a smooth, hassle-free experience! We opted to pack ourselves and it was really handy to have the packing materials delivered in advance and a free collection available once we're done to be reused or recycled! The estimated boxes were more than we thought we'd use but ended up pretty accurate! They took care to cover bigger items in blankets and worked efficiently from around 8.30-5pm with only a lunch break around 12.45/1pm. They took into account the later finish time to load and adjusted the time to meet at the new place accordingly, which allowed us just enough time for a quick tidy of the old flat. They had used another van to fit the rest of our belongings and it was nice not to have to worry about cost per item since the guesswork was taken into the capable hands of the movers who assessed how it would all fit.

They were also flexible in providing options for packing too (which we didn't go for in the end but would no doubt have been worthwhile based on our experience with the removal), as well as helping us out with spare tools and tape when we ran out and answering any queries that arose throughout the process. They were understanding when we were a little behind collecting the keys from the seller's nearby estate agent. When we arrived, they were ready to go with an extra hand, and took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture where needed to fit into our new property. We noticed that they even took care to lay protection over the doors to avoid damage entering with furniture, and in the hallway and carpeted staircase, plus they removed their shoes before entering our carpeted bedrooms. And they were very accommodating ensuring items were placed in the correct locations. They had a good pace of moving items, which allowed us to complete packing the remaining bits and pieces in the flat while they loaded, and took their time to unload carefully without making us feel rushed at any point. They even did a final check for any adjustments to make sure we were happy with everything. Overall, we believe they went that extra mile and took a patient, friendly and flexible approach. Our move from removals (Dunfermline) to storage (3.5 months) and delivery (Chester) was very efficient, smooth & professional. It was stress free and will highly recommend

The lads are spot on, friendly, punctual and great sense of humour. The move went as smooth as possible, even dismantled the furniture before going into storage. As the van was almost loaded up realised packed something by mistake (not a problem and able to retrieve the item before reloading back into the van) truly excellent service all round and have no issues in recommending them. Also had all the items put in storage and 2 months later delivered them to our new home and set all rooms up. Genuinely lovely guys and wish you both the very best with company going forward.

MoveStore were really friendly and very professional. We were moving from a top floor tenement to another top floor tenement, no lift - but they had everything out and in like a flash and made it seem like it was nothing! We also had to make a last-minute change needing to put all our stuff in storage over the weekend - luckily they were really flexible and able to arrange all of that using their own storage facilities with no extra admin for us - amazing.
Absolute life-savers, would definitely use them again no question.

Recently moved home and sought the help of Move Store. Friendly and professional engagement from the start, quoted after conducting a quick video call/inventory of our old home.

On the day these guys turned up on time and took great care with our belongings with plenty of packaging and protection to ensure no damage. They unloaded all of our stuff on the other end with the same level of care and attention.

I would use their service again when the time comes and would highly reccomend Move Store. Brilliant service all round.

We used MoveStore for our move from Edinburgh to Glasgow and from the initial contact, they were incredibly professional, efficient, and respectful. We had an initial video walkthrough of our flat with Cameron, who promptly provided us a quote for a variety of services. We decided to go for the full packing service (for the first time) as we were on a tight schedule for moving and couldn’t have been more delighted. Cameron and James were the fastest packers I’ve ever seen! They were excellent at communicating what their plan was, asking questions when needed about certain items to be moved, and very respectful of our home and our belongings. The actual move day was a couple of days later due to a schedule conflict, but they made sure to not pack essentials we might need for cooking, bathing, etc in the interim. The move itself was smooth and, again, Cameron and James were communicative and efficient. At one point, they noticed a small scratch on one of our wardrobe doors and immediately called us over to see it and reimbursed us for the cost of replacing that door. All in all, we are extremely happy with their services and are very happy in our new home thanks to MoveStore.
