False marketing. It says you get 120min of transcription free per month, but in fact it is only 5 minutes. Cancelled my account and if I ever pay for this service, deceitful notta won't be the chosen one. Be warned.

Every one ★ review here should be trusted. God awful service, couldn’t transcribe clear language for me. As a journalist it failed functionally on every level for me. They reminded me to cancel at 5 AM 12 hours before renewal instead of 24. By the time I was free and able to cancel, it had been one day over. Once I let them know I wanted a full refund I was told no and that I would have to use the service for a year. I only went over one day by accident. I had no intention of using the service again, and still don’t. Save your money. Don’t be swindled out of cash by this scammer. I don’t know what I’m going to do with the money I lost. Truly a heartbreaking experience. I recommended those interested invest in another service. Here was their response. “After careful review of your request, we regret to inform you that it is difficult for us to offer a full refund this time.
We believe that we have fulfilled our obligations to you according to our terms and conditions, and we stand behind the quality of our product or service.
Please know that we take all customer feedback seriously and we are constantly working to improve our offerings.”
What an utter lie. Don’t fall for them.

I usually rely on Otter for my English transcriptions, but it doesn't support other languages. So, I thought I'd give notta.ai a try for my Romanian client meetings.

Firstly, the 3-day 'free trial' only transcribed the first 5 minutes of my mp3 file. That's not what I'd call a 'free trial'; it's misleading at best.

They claim to offer numerous features, but I couldn't access most of them. Essentially, the transcript was poor and not fit for purpose.

To add insult to injury, an annoying "Limited Time Discount for PREMIUM MEMBER!" pop-up blocked my screen and couldn't be closed. Had to shut the page down.

Bottom line: Don't waste your time or trust their trial period.

I had very bad experience with this company. I requested the transcription of an Italian audio file (40 mins) and it was impossible to get a file (had signed up for the Pro programme), let alone evaluate the quality of the transcription. The whole proceeding was solely a huge frustration. The support was pleasant but totally unsatisfactory.

Notta.ai boasts that its Free Plan offers 120 minutes of transcription monthly. What it does not say is that of those 120 minutes, only 5 minutes will be available to you. You have to pay to see the rest. If the point is to give potential customers an honest evaluation of the service, the evaluators can only conclude that Notta.ai cannot be trusted. Reviewed and blocked henceforth.

The technology is just amazing. It is accurate than any other recognition service we have used. The service supports several domain models that fit our requirements perfectly.

Terrible product. I uploaded a recorded interview to be transcribed. The transcription is EXTREMELY inaccurate and cannot distinguish between the two different speakers. Also seems to have errors where it has pulled in audio from other sources by mistake, because there are transcribed sentences randomly inserted in the text that seem to be from a completely different source and were not part of my audio recording. The transcription is completely unusable.

J'ai pris un abonnement annuel et je me suis vite rendue compte que les transcriptions en français n'étaient pas au point. J'ai donc demandé d'annuler mon abonnement et de me rembourser. Ils ont été impeccables du début à la fin. J'ai eu affaire à une société professionnelle et honnête. Leur produit peut ne pas être encore au point, mais le service à la clientèle et la relation de confiance est totalement établie pour l'avenir.

Got me to register for free plan, only to tell me basic plan only includes 5 minutes of the transcript after I messed around with it for 15 minutes

VERY DISHONEST COMPANY. BE WARE.
My experience with Notta.ai is that they are completely dishonest. I had a subscription plan with them for two months and then asked them to end the subscription at least three times via email. Most of their emails are either from 'no-reply' emails or in Japanese. They finally sent me an instruction email about how to end the subscription but then when I went to end it, they had already done it, and removed all my files and history from the account. After this, they still charged my card, and then reinstated my account to a pro account, and have refused to issue a refund. Horrible experience.

Promises a decent free plan but once signed in it's useless, since you can only see a small part of the transcription without paying and you get bombarded by popups to pay. Deceitful at best. At least good they let people delete their account.

It's horrible. Say that it supports mp3's, I throw an mp3 at it and it screams that 'this file type is not supported' THEY JUST LIE TO YOU AND WASTE YOUR TIME! Please stay away. This service is horeible.

Disappointing transcription. 4 lines of gibberish from 4 minutes of recorded interview in English. It would have been better to go back to audiotyping.
I can only assume it is far better in its native Japanese.
