Cancelled my policy on the phone number on their website. Told me by email I was outside the 14 day window. I cancelled on day 8. They billed me half the policy cost for this and then denied the number advertised on their website was their number. They don't sign off emails either so you don't have a name to go back too. Just save money and avoid these crooks!

Been with them less than 1 month and they have emailed me to say they will cancel my policy if I don't send in the required documents.
These have been emailed in and they are still threatening to cancel my policy.
I called them waited 8 minutes to get through, explained the situation and the agent states it will take some time for him to review the email-how long does it take to open an email and see the attachments of the documents??
The line disconnected and they didn't have the courtesy to call me back.
They don't need to cancel my policy I have saved them the time and done it for them, going back to Lexham - waste of space.

Terrible communication, lack of sympathy, they take forever to get anything done, emails aren’t monitored, they don’t follow the procedures, my camper was stolen and burned and they gave me an offer which was far too low, I challenged it and then they started investigating me saying it’s standard procedure but that should have been done prior to first offer not after I refused it. All email answers are vague and never reassuring. I filed a complaint and the customer service hasn’t improved at all. If i could give zero stars I would.

Got a quote online and it was competitive. Phoned them to accept and they went through the details again. Nothing changed but they then quoted me £1500 more. They did the same thing the previous year. Absolute waste of time and effort. False advertising.

I got a motorbike insurance from them. They stated I have made a claim so they put my insurance premium up. I had proof letters from my previous insurance company to prove it wasn’t a claim and they still did not care. I had to ring them for days on to try and resolve it and people spoke to me like robots through the phone. Then they took a cancellation fee of 245.95 off me ever though I already paid them that months worth of insurance too. Highly disappointing do not recommend. Thanks to them I had to sell my bike too.

My previous broker ceased to trade. These clowns took over. I manage to get 2 MS90s and 1 TT99 on my licence. My insurance shot up. Last year, my insurance was just over 2K for a 71- plate Ford Focus. This year it went up to just over 3K. A 1K increase. I rang them and as much use as a chocolate teapot. Was told that was the best they could be done. I googled MS90s and TT99 insurance and spoke to a really helpful lady at Keith Micaels, who listened and recommended a couple of things, one removing my unemployed partner and quoted me a £250 access policy with a leading brand of £1,326.93. A massive saving of £1600. Thanks, Carrie. I won't be using this firm next year on my other vehicle. 1 star is being generous.

I've changed my bike and have been trying to change my insurance to the new bike. Ive been trying for 2 days, Waited 15-20 mins each time and then had to try again at another time. The recorded message it keeps playing while on hold is especially annoying.
"Forget the stress of your insurance, we are here to help" again grrrrr
Every 5 mins it tells me that my wait time of 10 minutes.
Its said that several times during this 23 minute call, and it still says 10 minutes.
I cant waste my life on the phone to them.
YOU HAVE LONG WAIT TIMES BECAUSE YOU DONT PAY ENOUGH OPERATORS.
How about AI chatbot, or even a page on your site I can log in and change it myself.
Where are they based? 1980?

UPDATE
I finally got through.
Currently my old bike costs me £!50 pa, which after initial payment was £10 pcm.
Now, my new bike which is exactly the same bike but 8 years newer (2009) my monthly payments have gone up to £29.50.
So I said, forget it, you cr00ks, i'll cancel and go somewhere that answers the phone.
I was then told that cancelling my existing £150 policy would cost me would cost me £152 !!!!

I hate insurance companies, they make the fee up as they feel like it.
I wouldn't mind, but I will never make a claim as they will double my price 3x for the next few years.
Its legal robbery

I called to check on documentation for a motorcycle. Taher Boxwala not only sorted out my concerns, but managed to resolve issues caused by my mistakes, leading to a refund of overpayments due to my errors. Taher was polite, clear and extremely helpful, resulting in my total satisfaction that both of my motorcycles are fully covered by Principal Insurance, for which I am truly grateful.

Ashley has been wonderful sorting out my renewal, the only con was half hour waiting line

Naomi was really good on the phone - friendly proffessional and did a great job. Was able to sort the changes to my policy easily and quickly. All good - 5 stars
