I returned a damaged special order radiator top grill to the Isle of Wight branch of Screwfix.
Josh & Terri were highly approachable, knowledgeable & ultimately highly cooperative.
They solved the issue using good old fashioned common sense - an increasingly rare commodity these days.

I was just looking for a carbourator adjustor for a titan strimmer and I had to explain twice ,not sure now if it was a robot or a person that I was communicating with ,apparently theses Al suffer from the same problem .I just give up .

So far my experiences buying at the store have been positive. Nice selection, handy website, reasonable prices and superb time to have ready for collection. I wish more of the items were in stock not just own brand

GREAT SERVICE FROM STAFF IN TULLAMORE 24/7.THEY HAD THE HINGES I WANTED FOR MY BROWN PVC WINDOWS AT A FRACTION OF THE MANUFACTURES PRICE IN CORK.

As usual very knowledgeable and friendly staff in Longford. I had bought a triton power wash and when it stopped working had no problem getting replacement . However despite very little use the replacement packed in, I brought it back but was told my guarantee only covered the initial purchase and was out of date. I find it unusual that the second power wash does not have its own guarantee.

Online order. Took my money and took over a week to tell me they actually had no stock of the item. Still waiting on refund. I have been Screwed and their website is a Fix.

Ordered white towel warmer on 26th of April. They said will be available to collect in 2-3 working days. Didn’t get any message or email in 2 weeks time. Decided go to branch collected my towel warmer on 11th of May. In a shop they told me that it is discontinued. Why they sale items which is discontinued???
My problem is that I did bathroom renovation and can’t get outstanding payment because towel warmer isn’t fitted. They supposed let me know straight away that item is discontinued. Just waist a time and my customer patience. I’m so disappointed. Try to avoid them

Practical ordering system with everything you need to start and end a project.

Great range of items, better value than most competitors in Ireland.
Bought quite a few items over the years, only time I had to bring back an item (a composite/resin sink that I had incorrectly measured), I rang up their customer service and was advised to return the item to the store to get a refund issued onto the original form of payment.
Up to now, always experienced good customer service and reliability from Screwfix's side.

Just got a delivery and I had to pay import duty. They said they would not pay this, so a 40 euro part ends up costing 50 euro.

Doing a lot of work in my house, I use Screwfix Ashbourne Co Meath, great staff, friendly, efficient .
Good product knowledge.
Will continue to shop there as their opening hours are fantastic.

Yet again waisted 30min on their crappie app, search for long 6mm drill bit, you get 2 opinions, so search for long drill bits you get 26 pages,
Went through 26 pages putting one in the basket then site is timed out.

Ordered paint from Screwfix on 28.03.23 and went to my local branch at Chester le Street today 29.03.23.
Greeted by a friendly team member who took the time to explain about the app and which button to press on arrival. Order arrived within 2 minutes. Another friendly team member helped me carry the heavy paint to my car.
Excellent service from all staff members st this branch of Screwfix. Well Done on making the collection easy for a disabled pensioner collecting an order for his son.

What marvellous customer service Screwfix give. I had an issue with a e-gift voucher today. Excellent help and service in the Longford store but Helen she was just magnificent and sorted out my issue within minutes. So helpful and efficient. Screwfix you are really lucky to have someone of Helen's ability and understanding of what customer service is. I am sure you know already but what an asset she is for your company. Thanks Helen and the Longford team, I got my purchases and was a very satisfied customer of Screwfix

Sick of turning up and constantly being told items aren't in stock, why advertise them if you don't have them? I won't be wasting anymore time with you unfortunately, there's other suppliers that can be trusted.

Surprised at the amount of negative reviews here. My experience of screwfix has been hugely positive. I recently bought a house and have been doing a lot of work on it. I must have been into screwfix every other day for the past two months and spent hundreds there. It's selection and prices can't be beaten. The staff are really helpful and the one or two times I needed to return something it was no problem. I definitely recommend this chain and I will keep coming back.
