We had Terry as our sitter for our nervous cockapoo, she never takes to strangers on the street but he was happy to do a view visits and let her get used to him.
On the day of the sit (which initially was a couple of hours) he took her out for a short walk while we left and she was so happy jusy walking next to him, he even sent us a picture of her relaxing on sofa next to him.
The staff at precious pets were so kind to me as I have never left my dog with a sitter before and they really put me at ease.
I will def be using them again in the future !
If you have a nervous dog and are anxious honestly it can work. I’m confident my dog will be so pleased to see Terry come again in the future

Great service was provided. Initially quite nervous about having a stranger stay in the house with our dog but all my worries disappeared after initial contact and then on meeting with our dog sitter Megan.
She kept us updated with photos and left the house as we had handed it over.
Would highly recommend and will be using them again.

David is a genuinely lovely man and our two Cavapoos immediately took to him. He is respectful, polite, reliable, and thorough in making sure that all the information regarding our dogs’ needs was covered. Communication was excellent, from arranging the pre visit through to, on the afternoon of the visit, texting us updates with photos of two very relaxed dogs! SMPrecious Pets service is excellent, and we were impressed with the level of detail on their booking forms, reassuring us of their commitment to ensuring the best individual service for our dogs. We will definitely be using this company again and would trust them completely to care for our dogs. Thank you.

We had very short notice of going away. Also we where worried about whether we would be in the area covered. We have never used a dog sitter before and were thoroughly impressed. We had very good customer support and care. Angie was a star in keeping us informed. We have two rescues. One doesn’t like men. Csillag was outstanding. Our two took to her. She kept us updated with text messages. Also kept to their routine. We came home to two dogs that where not stressed or upset. Will definitely be booking again.

I was most impressed that the company managed to arrange a sitter at the very last minute due to the original sitter becoming ill and a set of unfortunate circumstances meant they had to find a sitter for me literally overnight. This they did with constant communication and reassurance. The new sitter was excellent and the original one was able to step in to cover for a few hours on the last day. A true team effort. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company. My pet sitter was absolutely amazing!! I was slightly apprehensive at first using a sitter for my 2 dogs and cat but my sitter put me at ease straightaway! I could tell from the day I met him he’d look after my pets fantastically well!

I was in a predicament as my mum was unable to look after my dogs last minute due to ill health. Julie & her team stepped in at the very last minute providing a super sitter - all hassle free and do easy. They were simply, super helpful and I can’t recommend SMP enough.

Fantastic, reliable service on multiple occasions. Nikki looked after our 2 cats amazingly- 1 had had a recent operation having been run over and she managed her brilliantly. Very impressed with all aspects of the service.

We’ve used SM pets and Julia’s team a few times now and each time has been wonderful. When I go away I can now leave my dog in their care, knowing that when I come home she will have been loved and cared for exactly how we do. I write long lists , there are post it notes stuck everywhere and her every whim (and oddities) are catered for! Jane recently cooked her eggs every day and turned on doggy TV at mealtimes so my strange dog would eat infront of the television as she always does! However complicated you think your pet is….SM pets will cover everything and going on holiday is as easy as it possibly could be now 😊

Caroline did a brilliant job with our holiday sit during Oct half term holidays. Our puppy was well settled with her.

Having a pet sitter was really easy. Julia looked after our cat and dog really well and it was great not worrying about them on holiday.

As this was the first time I have left my dog to go away I was very anxious. Joyce made me feel totally at ease and her regular updates via WhatsApp made me feel relaxed whilst away,knowing that all my pets where well looked after. The house was lovely as tidy and clean on our return home and the pets all seemed very happy.

I’ve had the most wonderful experience with SM Precious Pets, from the quote and booking process with Julia an Michele, to the actual cat and house sitting by Alpa. I experienced nothing but kindness, understanding and flexibility for my particular situation. Alpa was fantastic with Geronimo who is a scaredy-cat. They were friends by the end of the stay and I can count by the fingers of one hand the number of people G trusts. She was great looking after the house and very good with updates. Also, she does the best GIFs of Geronimo. 😂 I had a holiday with complete peace of mind, and really recommend SM Precious Pets, and Alpa in particular, for your cat-sitting needs.

Our dog sitter (and cat sitter) Terry really made an effort to keep everything as close as possible to our pets usual routine (even allowing our dog to sleep next to him on the bed. It was our first time to leave our dogs and it has given us confidence to do it again.

This was the first time using a house/dog sitter so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a last minute weekend get away so grateful that we could be accommodated as our usual dog boarder was fully booked.
Paperwork and instructions were clear and we got to meet our sitter in person before we went away which was useful to alleviate some anxiety. Still rather strange to have someone you don’t know stay in your own home but we had regular updates while we were away and our dog received lots of walks, fuss and attention.
Our dog was rather restless when we got home but that was probably just to make us feel guilty.
I would use the service again but probably wouldn’t be my first choice.

I was very pleased with Precious Pets and their employee Sophie, who came to look after our 5year old Weimaraner. She was contacted me when she needed to, and sent regular photos of our dog enjoying herself. We returned to out home exactly how we left it, with the added bonus of the flowers being kept alive and the bird feeders topped up.

Sophie did a fantastic job of looking after our beloved hound, and would definatly book her again and recommend Precious Pets as a service. Professional, trustworthy, communicative and competent.
