Great quality care provided at quite short notice. Our two retrievers were cared for by a lovely lady who seemed to understand them and their needs instantly. Lovely updates provided throughout our time away. Also the sitter was very flexible and unphased with changing arrangements. Would definitely highly recommend.

Right from my initial enquiry about finding a sitter for my puppy the team were super helpful. I loved that the team matched me with a suitable sitter, ensured that they came over to visit me and my puppy at our home to check both i and the sitter were happy to go ahead before taking a deposit. It can be really worrying to leave a pet in the care of a stranger and so this really put my mind at rest and meant I enjoyed my time away. Would definitely use again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with this great company, they stepped in at the last minute and saved the day! We have used SM precious pets twice in as many weeks. Both ladies came and met us and our dog Bailey before they came to sit for him.

Felicia and Megan were a pleasure to meet and neither time did we have one moment of worry about how Bailey was coping without us.

He was more than happy with the ladies and didn't seem too grumpy with us when we came home.

We had Natasha sit for our two cockapoos for a week while we went on holiday and we couldn't have been happier with the service. She kept us updated with pictures and videos from their walks and when we returned it was like they'd had a holiday as well.

Our dogs have bad separation anxiety and can't be left home alone which has made finding care difficult in the past but Julia and her team were more than happy to accommodate our requirements. We're already booking in our dates for next summer!

SM Pets came to my rescue after I had been let down by another pet sitter at short notice, over the bank holiday weekend.
Julia & team were super friendly & reassuring and went out of their way to find someone available for me.
Amy looked after my 1 year old golden doodle & 2 cats for 5 days. Amy was fantastic, kept me updated with pictures & videos and kept the house clean and tidy. I would happily use SM Pets services again in future.

We’ve used this pet sitting service twice now and both times experienced excellent people and a peaceful and relaxing holiday, not having to worry about our cat who was left behind at home!. We didn’t want our cat to feel unloved and uncared for while we were away and using Julia and her team gave us peace of mind that she was being well looked after and fed and we also received regular updates so we didn’t have to worry about her at all!

David from SMpreciouspets has been amazing with our dog Ripley. She has had quite a few health issues and is on lots of medication and this has never been an issue for them at all. They have been so wonderful with her and I always have peace of mind when leaving them in our house looking after our precious little Ripley.

We are so happy and satisfied with their services. Bailey our cocker spaniel pup loves spending time with David, Robert and Julia. We always receive a little update with some photos and pictures. Their attention for detail and love for dogs is amazing!

The two sitters we've had for our puppy have been lovely (and punctual!). Communication with everyone involved has been great. Our puppy is still wary of strangers in his space, but I know that I don't need to worry about leaving him with such lovely sitters for an occasional night out!

I started using smpreciouspets at the beginning of January 2022 for my three dogs. The whole experience from the initial enquiry response to having Laura and David coming regularly now has been so positive.
I had a response within a few hours of my initial email enquiry, and within a few days I had the initial visit to try to set up regular home sitting.
I use the service a couple of times a week when I have longer days at work and don't want to leave the dogs on their own for that long. Since I have started having David and Laura coming to sit, the difference in my dogs is visible. They are calmer and happy when I get home on the day and overall. It was a problem before I started using using them that especially one of my dogs was anxious after a long day without me being home, and it spilled over into other days too. This has much improved.
It is always worrying giving a key and having someone coming into your home when you are not there, but I can only recommend Smpreciouspets as completely trustworthy. They send me photos of the dogs while they are there and tell me how they are and what they have been doing with them. I am delighted I have started using them.

Having a reactive rescue, as well as another protective dog, has meant that it has been increasingly hard to find anyone willing to board our 2 girls alone.
When we first heard about SM pet services, we weren't sure how we felt about someone moving into our home and looking after our dogs. But we have been so delighted, and can't imagine ever going back to dog boarding.
Julia is always so professional, and bends over backwards for us to try and make dates work, even at short notice.
Karen and Laura look after our girls like her own, walking them separately and seeing to their every need. Even letting Mabel sleep on their bed! They also sends regular photos and updates on how they are doing, and clearly provide lots of cuddles and attention. They all make us feel that we can genuinely relax and enjoy our holidays, without the worry of how our girls are being looked after. So much so, that I'm not sure the dogs are that happy when we come home!
