only sent 1/2 a bikini days before trip
I ordered a matching bikini bottom and top with expedited shipping for a trip. They sent the bottom and then canceled the top and I only had 3 days before my trip. Had to waste time twice trying to get the full refund. Customer service acted like it wasn't a problem that I received half of a bikini. Don't waste your money on this site.
Horrible customer service experience
I ordered a two bras and almost two weeks went by and they weren't shipped so I called customer service, she advised me to call the store about my orders so I did and the lady at the store told me that she doesn't handle online orders the store and online are two different departments. I tried to call back and there were 40 people ahead of me, also I tried the chat support and that was completely useless, so I eventually had to call the store explain to them what was going on and place my order via the store, when I tried to cancel my online order I was told I wasn't allowed. Their shipping speeds are absolutely slow and I have not had a good experience this time around other than their bras normally being very good. Their customer service on the other hand not so good.
Awful experience
Awful experience. I placed my order 10 days ago, was charged, and received an email stating that my order was on track. I finally got to message the customer chat and they said my order had a glitch and couldn't be processed but meanwhile my order read "On track". They only offered me to cancel my products and to call the call center to order them again.
Terrible Customer Service and Support
I ordered top and bottom lounge set. But I only received the bottom. The customer service told me that I have to wait for a few weeks for backorder by email. I haven't received or hear anything another 2 weeks. I emailed them again about order status because online order status said it's processed. They emailed back and said its expired shipment term and no longer available. I have to called the rude customer service again to cancel the order. Terrible experience.
I was deeply disappointed
I was deeply disappointed. The website was hard to navigate, sizing was unclear, and shipping took nearly three weeks without proper updates. When the items arrived, the quality was poor thin fabric, loose stitching, and an uncomfortable fit. Customer service was slow and unhelpful, and the return process was frustrating and costly.
On the bright side, this experience led me to stumble on 229 848 4204 another lingerie store with far better quality, service, and value.
Do not shop here. Ever.
This company has very poor customer service. I ordered three items. I received notification - days later - that the package had shipped. I then got an email that one item was unavailable. It was available when I ordered it. I ordered for a trip. Had I known it was not available, I would have gotten something else. Their chat service took 45 minutes. Obviously, the reps handle more than one at a time. Got no useful info about why an item that was in stock suddenly became unavailable. After the chat ended, I got an email cancelling the entire order which is nuts because the other items are out for delivery!
On another occasion, I ordered the wrong item by mistake. It was very similar to the item I wanted. I took it back to a local store to save the shipping cost and the sales clerk was obviously annoyed that I was returning something. She was incredibly rude.

The quality of the panties is terrible
The quality of the panties is terrible. The lace comes away and the seam around the top where it joins the elastic frays.
Nearly £200 taken, no goods received.
In January I placed an online order with SOMA. The transaction was handled by Borderfree as I was ordering from outside the US.
3 months later and 15 emails with customer services and I still have neither my order nor a refund - it's £199.48, not an amount I'm willing to give up on.
Just atrocious customer service, lazy and disorganised.
When you are buying a bra
When you are buying a bra, you hope that the sales people are well trained and know how to recommend bras. That was not the case, and I had to return the first set as they did not fit when I got home. Bra fitting is a skill but SOMA did not live up to that skill at all. There have to be better places to get fitted.

I made an appointment for a fitting at Soma in Glen Mills PA. The sales associate measured me and came back with two bras. One fit beautifully and so I purchased 3 of them. Two had to be ordered but I went home with one. The next day, I took off the tag and wore the bra. Then around 2 PM, I was experiencing pain under my breast. Took the bra off and discovered it was cutting into my skin. It was too tight. According to their policy, I can't return it. So, I'm just out the money. What was the point of a fitting if I still walked out of the shop with the wrong size bra? I'm waiting on the other two bras to arrive in the mail and will have to drive back to the store to return them. There must be a better way of getting a good fitting bra. This company needs to train their associates on how to measure for a bra. Buyers beware.

Unfortunately, I have experienced terrible customer service from not only the customer representative but also a manager both were incapable of doing their jobs. I have purchased from Soma many times and never had issues until my package was not received. The manager's name is Brenda. She was rude and incompetent. I will not purchase anymore from this company and I want my money back for merchandise not delivered.

The minute we walked in Emily was there to greet us. We asked to get measured, which she did and then she brought us several different options to try. She went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Emily made our first visit exceptional! There was another lady that helped us but I do not know her name. Thank you ladies. We will definitely be back!!
Best personal, shopping experience
I had the honor of walking into the coconut creek, FL shop this afternoon with two family members. Leah (associate number 00000014485) took care of me. I was very hesitant because the store was extremely busy when we walked in and unfortunately we were on a tight schedule. This was no problem for this group of professional ladies. They took it all on with big smiles and energy. This is the second time I walk into this store and was pleasantly surprised by the knowledgeable and friendly ladies. The last time I was in the good hands of sandra (associate number 000000177256). Amazing woman. I was leaving on a trip early the next morning. Needless to say I was stressed and out of time. She found me clothe and properly fitted me for a bra. I love this place
Sad with Soma
Sadly, it's obvious that soma doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I had placed an order on January 23rd and received one notice that it was being processed on the 24th and never heard anything again. It was a great clearance sale item and I was truly looking forward to receiving it. I finally called customer service and got hold of a person to speak with. When she checked on the item she called me back and said it was canceled?? I have no idea why it was canceled, who canceled it, and why I wasn't notified?? Very infuriating and now there are no more items like that to be ordered. What is going on with you Soma? However I placed another order 3 days ago, and received it already.. what the heck? I tried to get hold of customer service numerous times with very long Waits and no call backs. I don't think I will be shopping at Soma anymore when there are plenty of other places with similar items and better customerservice. It's a shame you can't get your act together:(

Horrible, wish I could leave zero stars. Tried to make a return and the link for creating a label didn’t work. Their customer service email doesn’t work either. Every time I tried to send an email there about the return, I got a fail notice saying the email didn’t exist. I ended up following manual instructions on the soma site to mail in my return, addressed it to Soma Returns, and USPS tracking told me it was delivered to an individual at the soma returns address. When I didn’t hear back about it from anyone at Soma, I got on the customer service live chat and had to wait like a half hour to finally be helped. Then the customer chat agent denied completely that there was any way to find my return, and won’t honor refunding me. I feel like this was intentional malevolence and after reading other similar reviews I’m convinced that this company just wants to pocket money and doesn’t care about customers. I’m never ordering from them again. Also their sizes run small and pinch so beware.
Most horrible customer service and experience
The online customer service is absolutely terrible. If you need to make a return, you're on your own. They don't answer to your emails for many days, they don't even read your emails correctly so they advise you to use their return portal when you wrote to them because the return portal doesn't work. When you finally get them via chat, they generate the wrong label (for the wrong items, although you gave them the correct reference) and when you explain what happened and ask for a correct label, they tell you they will send one in a couple of minutes. Guess what, they never do!
Is this some sort of subterfuge to trick people out of their right to return things?
Ordered 5 pj sets on Black Friday…
Ordered 5 pj sets on Black Friday (11/29) for Christmas gifts. Called on 12/10 as it hadn’t shipped and was told I had to wait until 12/19 and then I could reorder or cancel. Really Soma?!?! I’m supposed to wait until that close to Christmas to see if I have gifts for people or not and then have to ship them to friends/family. And if not then reorder and hope you have the sizes I need?!?!? So mid December I had to find gifts elsewhere and go to the post office the week before Christmas. Our family (extended too) spends a lot of money at soma. No more after this big disappointment- shame on you soma. Stop having big sales if you can’t deliver. Very disappointed. After not shipping my order I still had to call to get a refund. No more soma for us!!
I love Soma
I love Soma. I have been buying from them for years and had only one issue. The customer service team helped me and it was resolved promptly. I really like their selection of pjs and intimates.

If I could put no stars I would . The in store customer service is excellent. But I had the experience to call customer service today and first wait time was very long. Second the person that I had on the other end of the line was very rude and condescending. I asked to speak to the Manager. At which I explained what I needed. And how she can help me. place me on a long hold after then to tell me that she could not help me because my item was just past 60 days. What I just needed was a change in size. Because they had given me the wrong size when they fitted me at the store. Their bras are very expensive and it’s supposed to be a luxury brand but the experience that I had in customer service was so mediocre that is not considered a luxury brand. In store Manager assured me that all I had to do was call customer service and in order for them to keep me as a customer they will help me and exchange to the proper size. But that did not happen in the customer service and it on the phone.

my wife likes their sleepwear so I have been trying to place an order. Unfortunately I received an "Internal Server Error" multiple times upon trying to make a payment. I finally tried again using PayPal as my payment method. The payment was made through PayPal but when I was sent back to the order screen, it was locked up and threw me out. Now I have no record of an order and have been charged $250. I have chatted with their support and was told there is nothing she can do that I would need to call. I have called and am notified by the system that there are 130 people in front of me. I entered my number at 9 am for a call back and as of 11:45 have still not received a call back.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!
