I would give it a zero if I could. I ordered a pajama set. After wearing it one night, I discovered that there was a two inch hole in the sleeve seam. I hadn’t noticed it since it was in the back. When I tried to get a replacement, they denied me because I did not have the tags. The only thing they offered was $15 off my next purchase. No thank you! I will never shop here again since they do not stand behind their product. Buyer be wary! Meticulously check out the entire product before removing tags.
Bad news from start to finish
Ordered four bras according to sizing chart, bras were too small in both band and cup. No return instructions were in the box. I emailed asking for return authorization, got no response. Emailed again two days later, still no response. Called two days later, got disconnected when transferring me to the international department. On the second call, I finally got return instructions, but it was for only one of the four bras, and showing refund for one was due. I got that cancelled and got return instructions for four items, but it showed that no refund was due. The weight on the return shipping label was also 10% of the original shipment package weight. I was on the phone for 45 minutes (the second phone call after the first one was disconnected), and still couldn't get a correct return label or refund amount. I will take their label to DHL, but if this shipping label does not work, or if they receive the package with all four and only give a refund for one, I will be filing a credit card dispute. Ridiculous to waste hours of my time trying to return something that did not fit according to their own measurement charts.
Horrible company no accountability
I ordered 2 bras. Band size 40. They measured 33 inches. I called and got a male agent! After taking my information, he transferred me to ANOTHER male agent and the whole thing started over again. It took forever. I am so frustrated and disgusted. I tried chat, and they told me to go to the store and get a fitting. I KNOW that 33 inches isn’t 40 inches. I don’t need a fitting. I think I know when I am being had.
45 minutes of BS to refund a defective bra.
I purchased a bra back in July and it was one that had adjustable straps you could do either crossover or straight. To be perfectly honest it had gotten lost in the bag so technically I've only worn it for about 2 months. I called the store obviously they couldn't help me so they gave me the customer service number. Calling the customer service number was absolutely hideous. It was 45 minutes of back and forth and nobody could find me in the system. When I spoke to the lady at the store she said sure they should be able to find you they have more access than I do. They were never able to find me after 45 minutes I decided to tell the lady that I'm just going to throw the throw away and go someplace else and buy a new bra. I've been in retail for 20 plus years and this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Like absolutely terrible. I want to state that the store that I go to in Birch Run Michigan is an amazing store they're always helpful they're amazing up there. But the customer service line sucks.

I'd give Soma bras a solid -0- if that were an option here. I purchased 2 bras in their Norwalk, CT store. Literally after wearing one of them 5 times, the bra began to stain very badly under my arms, washing it did nothing, also the two layers of material began to peel apart under the arms as well. I'll spare you the photos. They would not take them back or give me a credit, nothing, even though I had the defective bra and the receipt for $72.00. They wouldn't let me even exchange the bras for something else. I will never ever buy their cheap poorly made underware again.

$64 bra fell apart on first wearing! Customer service was on par with the quality of the bra. They offered me $20 to put toward my next purchase! And they wouldn't take it on return as it had been worn and the tags had been removed.

Says free returns but then a $7 fee. When I contacted customer service three weeks ago, they reiterated that. it's free. I asked for help and no response to three emails. Really? And the bra is hugely disappointing - little support and narrow straps that dig in.

Soma shipping and customer service is the worst. I ordered an online order 12 days ago and still waiting for it to arrive. Tracking just changes to next day when doesn’t come by 7. I contacted customer service and talked to Divya and she was like a robot.. absolutely no help. I called customer service and they said wait 3 more days. You have got to be kidding me. I have to wait 3 more days before I can get a refund or have it reshipped. I love Soma products but this is making me think it’s time to find a new retailer. Beware of the shipping policy. If you order upgrade for expedited shipping. Not sure how that will work but it hopefully would be better. I am so disappointed in Soma after years of buying from this retailer.
Padding
Padding. Why why why are the pads in the bras not secure? It’s impossible to get them to fit properly again after washing. One would think that at the price you pay for their bras this wouldn’t be an issue.
So uncomfortable. Bad advice
I purchased two bras from the Clinton Outlet store in Clinton CT while on vacation. The saleswoman was very attentive and helpful. However she insisted that my usual size, 36 C, was too small and that I needed a 38D. I ended up purchasing the bras in that size for over $100. Here it is a few weeks later and they are the most uncomfortable bras I've ever had, and the band is too big. I'm already on the tightest band setting and its still too big. My true size is 36. No way to return them since I live in NC. Very disappointed!
Exceptional customer service
Carole and Isabelle welcomed me into the store. This was my first visit at Soma's. Isabelle measured me and we starting a dressing room. I have high standards and these ladies were kind, knowledgable and fun. I will certainly be returning to Soma's. When I was leaving the store, they welcomed another customer the same way they welcomed me.
Do not buy anything
I bought 2 bras for $147 and after 2 months the strap on one of them broke. I called customer service and because it was 15 days after their return period they said they wouldn’t do anything but give me 40% off a new one. This is ridiculous and I will never buy from them again and nobody else should buy their products either.

TERRIBLE online ordering
TERRIBLE online ordering - totally unreliable. In the stores I have purchased a large number of Cool Nights Pajama Sets over the last year to give as gifts and for myself. They are good quality and very comfortable - and yet very expensive unless you catch a seasonal sale. HOWEVER, TWICE I have ordered a specific set online, paid with my credit card, received an immediate email that confirms that the purchased pjs are ready for pickup (which is what I requested). BOTH TIMES I have driven at least 25 minutes to the store to pick the purchase up, and BOTH TIMES they were no longer available. THE REASON I prefer to pick up at the store (and also actually purchase when I'm in the store) is because the only delivery Soma offers is through USPS. This is the most unreliable and corrupt delivery avenue possible. The complaints against the United States Postal Service are massive and all over the country - so why doesn't Soma use FedEx or UPS??!!! I will never order from them again!

They do not have non-wired bras in bigger sizes and their wired bras are extremely uncomfortable. They caused my ribs to pain for 3 days straight. Do not shop here if you’re looking for a comfortable bra in sizes 32 or above.
Unappreciated long term customer
I have been a customer of Somas for 40 years or more. Have worn no other pajamas but Somas in all those years. Well the love fest is over. I received a pair of Soma pajamas for Christmas in the size Large I have worn forever. They fit like a small so of course could not get my big toe in them. Either the sizing has changed drastically or they were sized incorrectly. Was unable to get to the store till yesterday but was told they were purchased just a few days over the 60 day limit and was not eligible for an exchange. Excuse me but I was not wanting a refund. Just wanted to exchange for the correct sizing. The tags were still on them also. So, thank you Soma for letting a dedicated customer know that they meant NOTHING to you for over 40 years. I will be taking all my other Soma pajamas to Goodwill as I will not be wearing Soma pajamas ever again. The love fest has ended due to your lack of respect for your customers be it long term ones or not.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered 4 bras and none of them fit, so I went to the store for a fitting. The clerk measured me then told me my size was the size I wanted to return. I told her they didn't fit. She wanted to argue with me. She wouldn't give me a return, rather a gift card. I won't ever go there again. They sent me a survey about my experience which I did and asked for someone to contact me. No one ever did. I'm a lifelong shopper but will never set foot in Soma again.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware: If you order something online from Soma and decide to return it, you will NOT get a penny back for 6 weeks. Soma will send you the free return label. It will be picked up by their return agent immediately. But 20 days after their return agent picked up MY return, it still hasn't made it to their warehouse. The Soma reps robotically repeat it takes 3-4 weeks for returns to make it to the warehouse ... and another 7-14 days for the return to be processed. In 2023, it should NOT take 6 weeks to get a refund. This is not how brands gain customer loyalty, and it certainly explains why Soma's ratings are so low. DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM SOMA.
