Absolutely amazing from start to finish me and my best friend went and Leah and liv helped us and were amazing we both got out dresses the atmosphere was amazing and we felt so welcoming

Where do i start,
Im a bigger girl size 14-16 and they still proceeded to put xs sizes on my dress rack like i’d fit into them, there was size 10s, 8s, and from the 8 i had chose only one fit me to a size 16.
If your a plus size girl i really do not recommend this shop as I have never felt so insecure, to the point i cried in the changing rooms.
There is some positive aspects as there is a woman who really helped me, she seen the sizes i got given and really wasn’t happy, comforted me whilst i cried which no body should have to experience.
all i can say is this, do not reccomend.

Yes, there's lots of dresses, yes, they're very pretty and yes, they're massively overpriced!
Customer service is dire, very disorganised, no personal touches and highly unprofessional. Clearly overbooking is a thing here as waiting for a slot despite having an appointment seemed the norm. Then, you get intermittent service by several different staff, if you're lucky. No real help, very little knowledge of the products or the customer. Absolutely no space for a relaxed trying on experience as changing rooms are heaving due to overbooking, so making the whole 2 hours stressful and unpleasant. My daughter and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Thankfully, we had another appointment on the same day where we purchased a beautiful dress for half of their ludicrous prices which was relaxed, professional and lovely experience for my daughter, just as it should be.

I wouldn't even give this a 1 star, but couldn't write a review without it.. after trying several dresses on in early October, paid in full, told the dress will be ready to collect end of November, left several emails and no one ever picks up the phone, even made a booking and no one shown up at the shop, its absolutely disgusting the way they behave after they received the money, I'd stay clear of it and go elsewhere. I don't even know how this shop still open

Had the most amazing experience trying to find my perfect dress! I couldn’t thank all the stafff enough they’ve been so patient and really handy giving out a load of different options for me to pick from, It was the best time and would definitely recommend this if looking for a great experience with family!!

the staff were so warm and welcoming listened to everything I said I wanted in a dress and was able to help find me the perfect dress ! There was so much to choose from! The shop was full of so many different styles and colours! The shop is absolutely beautiful and the best prom shop / shop in general I have ever been to.

Took my daughter to sort her prom dress, travelled from Hereford because we believed they were worth travelling for. Anyone who has been there knows the dresses are not cheap and on top of the price of the dress you can pay an additional fee for a delivery which we opted for due the time it would save travelling upto them again. One thing you don’t expect when spending a large amount of money is for the delivery to turn up in a flimsy box which is crushed and barely taped down top or bottom! Dress had no protection whatsoever! Then complain to the store and send proof of how bad the delivery was, they reply around a week or more later and say they have issued a refund for the delivery. The refund has never come and they’ve now been ignoring my messages in regards to wanting to take my complaint further. Shocking service throughout, steer well clear!

Dissatisfied! We chose Sonique because we thought they understood the importance that is put on these proms and the dresses that go with them. A one time mother and daughter experience has now turned into a nightmare. Wrong size dresses ordered on both visits. Dress arrived JUST in time for Prom - Keep all your receipts as their records of customers payments are not up-to-date !!

We did not have a good experience this year, compared to last year with my older daughter. I previously believed the service and experience justified the extra you pay for the dresses, however this year has been a disaster.

The communication from the store is atrocious. Had to chase them over a dress that they were ordering in as a sample for which we had to pay a deposit. On the 2nd visit we ordered a dress however order updates kept referring back to the sample dress. The shop never answer the phone and are slow at returning calls. Emails and texts are not responded to. Again had to chase for the order delivery into store.

Made the dress collection appointment only to drive for 1hr and half to get there and the NEW dress was filthy. Dirt all along the bottom hem and and green stain in patches. You'd have thought they would have checked the dress prior to confirming the dress was in.

To save another 3 hour round trip, they agreed to post the dress to us. Great we thought. Until they used a completely wrong address. Again they didn't return phone calls or respond to messages. Parcel was addressed to name - no surname, completely wrong street address. Luckily with the DPD app we were able to track the driver down in the street at the time of delivery. Despite promise of a call, I have still not heard from the manager and no apology.

Advice: Find somewhere else. I'm sure other places stock Angel Forever dresses and offer a better services and considerably less cost. Completely ruined the prom dress experience.

I really don’t like to complain but feel obliged to following our recent experience. We ordered a prom dress in early May and paid a deposit. We were told the dress would arrive by the end of May and be dispatched. Between the order and final delivery on 18th June I made numerous phone calls and sent over 15 emails to see where the dress was. Most of the calls/emails were not responded to which was very frustrating because the prom date was looming. When the dress eventually arrived, it was badly packaged and had obviously been worn as one of the seams had come apart. For a dress costing over £300 I would have expected much better service with better communication.

PLEASE AVOID, We drove to Birmingham as their website was just what we needed with a choice of lots of dresses, my daughter chose her dress although the service was run by youngsters, not very helpful and totally unaware of the support we needed for trying them on, anyway we found the dress paid full price plus a delivery charge, received a message to say it was ready, called and emailed every day finally they sent the dress sent, only to find it was the wrong size and had scag marks all over it, can’t get hold of the shop to order a replacement and her prom is next week! Awful customer service as they never respond to calls or emails and we are still waiting!! How can they stay in business is beyond me!

Genuinely the best shop we have been to! After searching for the perfect prom dress for my daughter for a while, after finally visiting Sonique, my daughter left grinning from ear to ear. The staff were wonderful throughout the whole appointment asking my daughter colour and style she liked so that she got the perfect dress for her. This is by far the best experience we have had after leaving other prom dress shops feeling deflated. Can’t recommend them enough here all the staff are brilliant and the choice of dresses are amazing!

I went for an appointment here for a prom dress and it was the best experience ever! I was greeted at the door by one of the workers and they spoke to me and listened to what I wanted and they even gave me recommendations. They then made sure none of the dresses had sold from my school. I was taken through into my fitting room and the girls who worked there were so friendly and they helped me choose my dress! To anyone looking for a prom dress book for sonique!!!

Honestly best experience I’ve had at a prom dress shop so far after visiting many! Hats off to the young ladies working here couldn’t do enough for us from start to finish, extremely friendly staff. My daughter was assisted the whole way through and eventually picked her dream dress thanks to our wonderful stylist Emily! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a prom dress, they have an endless selection!

The least organised business I have ever know.
First things first, this company NEVER answers phone calls, responds to answer-phone messages or emails.
Please read this and be warned...if you order a dress from Sonique - you may or may not receive it - it's pot luck.
I ordered a dress in November for collection by end of Feb. Feb came and went and because they NEVER answer communications, I had to visit them.
Shortly after the visit, they sent me an email saying the dress would be ready by 12th March, they would let us know when it's in.
12th March came and went - 2 weeks later, still no email, so had to visit them again. They assured me the dress had arrived, they were sorry about the lack of email and we had to book a fitting appointment.
We did exactly that. At the appointment we were kept waiting for an hour before they told us they had lost the dress. We even had to produce our booking email before they would believe we even had an appointment.
After 2 hours they eventually realised it was at their other shop - they sent it over and gave us free earrings for the inconvenience. Upon reflection, we got the dress, but it was HARD work. And I'm sure it was more luck than judgement.
If you order from Sonique, you are taking a very big chance with your daughter's happiness, you have been warned.

My daughter had a fantastic experience. There are plenty of dresses to choose from and so many styles, it was quiet overwhelming being surrounded by such beautiful dresses. I can't remember the staff members name that helped us but all of the staff were very friendly and showered my daughter with compliments. I needed to make some changes today and Kiera was so amazing. Great customer service. I am expecting my my daughters dress to be delivered mid May which gives her over a month for any alterations to be carried out on the dress. I would highly recommend Sonique Dress Heaven to my friends and family. I will definitely be shopping here again.
