Most meals have been fine
Most meals have been fine. However, beef brisket massaman was a let down! 28grams of beef only which was 2 tiny strips. Over shadowed with rice and green beans! Flavour was nice but should not have beef in the title as it was hardly a beef meal.

The Beef Brisket Massaman is a resounding favourite among our customers so it's a shame to hear you were unable to enjoy the meal as well - 28 grams of Beef is definitely not the correct portion size, it should be 3 times that much! Our team of chefs pack each meal individually by hand so occasionally errors can occur.
During routine checks we ran last week, we found one of our scales on that line turned out to be faulty and this has now been replaced. We have now put additional procedures in place to ensure this doesn't happen again so our meals are consistently delicious and filling!

High quality , consistent , and reliable delivery
I’ve used Tastily for over 12 months now - the food quality is consistently high, the menu choices are varied, and the time saving is massive for us as working parents with young children. Would 100% recommend. Favourite meals are sausage and fennel risotto and the recently added spicy chicken.

Wow!
I've tried numerous food delivery services on the market. The ones that you need to cook, the ones that I frozen, the ones that are readily made etc.
This one is the best, no competition. Packaging is good. Preparation is easy. But the most important thing -- the taste! Other services are very heavy on spices and/or lean to more popular dishes. On tastily you get dishes from around the world, without (much) weird ingredients, and they taste amazing.

Let down by delivery service
I have been ordering from Tastily weekly for a while now. The meals are excellent, good choice, decent size and tasty. However, the delivery service is dreadful. Multiple failures from DPD that Tastily have had to resolve and refund. Out of the last three weeks two of them have not even attempted delivery due to issues at DPD, even when they do deliver they drop the parcel at the door and don't even bother ringing the bell leaving the box outside in the sunshine. The cold packs and insulation don't work as well as deliveries I have had from Mindful Chef, and if in the sun the product will get warm. If it were not for the delivery service I would give five stars, but the delivery service is just worst DPD need to be replaced.

We are proud to say that all our packaging is sustainable, and we want to ensure that it is efficient at keeping your meals cool and fresh at all times. An overheated delivery is the last thing our customers want to come home to! In the recent extreme weather, it may have unfortunately been unavoidable that this has happened to a delivery left in a sunny spot by a courier. We will always endeavour to offer free replacements on occasions like this wherever we can.
Although DPD usually provides a reliable service with successful deliveries, we understand how frustrating it is when DPD lets both us and the customer down. We are working very hard with DPD to iron these issues out and ensure that all of their drivers take sufficient care when delivering our fresh meals to you to enjoy.
I hope that we can cook for you again in future with the smooth, consistent delivery service that we aim to provide!

Excellent customer service
I had a major problem with my account due to the website development agency failing the company. My problem has now been resolved, and I am told that a new website is being launched next week. I have been offered a complimentary box in recompense, which I am delighted to accept. It's a pleasant change to find a company which actually cares for it's customers.

Great fresh food would recommend to anyone who is on the go and looking for a fresh home cooked meal. Also really enjoyed the sample IPA beer and would like to buy some if they become available to buy on the website.

Bit pricey but really good
These meals are a bit pricey if you compare them to traditional microwaveable ready meals. The reason is that they are nothing like the normal stoodge. They taste like restaurant food with incredible flavours and good quality ingredients. Worth trying at least once for the experience if nothing else

Bland food, food poisoning and bad customer service / experience
After consuming Tastily's Indonesian chicken stir-fry on 15 May 2022, I began experiencing food poisoning-related symptoms.
I reported this immediately to Tastily's customer service. They replied the following day to get further details, which I provided within minutes.
At the time of writing this review, there has been no further communications or compensation from Tastily.
I would assume they were hoping I'd forget about this matter. I haven't.

When I had an ongoing subscription, I tried, unsuccessfully, to update the payment method to a different card.
After being advised by customer support, I tried using a different browser. This made no difference, because the issue was always on Tastily's end.
I was informed that recent "IT upgrades" had resulted in various website issues. One of which was preventing customers from updating their payment methods. If this was a known issue, why was my time wasted with pointless troubleshooting?

I am not convinced by the allegation that "Michelin-trained chefs" are responsible for these bland, lifeless meals.
I would not recommend Tastily to anyone.

We work very hard to respond to our customer complaints as quickly as possible in our operating hours of 9-5:30 Monday - Friday so we’re really sorry that one of your messages was missed by mistake!
Following your experience with this meal, we adhere to very strict food hygiene and safety protocol in our kitchen so an incident like this is extremely rare. We are rigorously reviewing these processes as an urgent priority to ascertain what caused this and rectify it with immediate action.
It’s a real shame that your Tastily experience was not a good one, but thank you for giving Tastily a go in any case!

So many errors and issues.
Tastily meals are meant to save time and stress. However with constant errors, miscommunications and requests for feedback (that never changes anything) I'm just so tired.
I have cancelled my subscription and cannot see that I will be renewing it in the near future.
The reason I have given them two stars instead of one is because the food was okay and I liked the ability to have two portion sizes.
