People are leaving these bad reviews as if they went through a normal ordering process from a fully established company. Having to wait 2+ years is very normal for kickstarter/crowdfunding projects. If you don’t want to wait that long then just wait until the company is established to place your order! The company posted regular updates explaining why the manufacturing was delayed, part of it was issues from covid and part of it was just making sure the product was high quality and functional before releasing.
I finally received my pledge about a month ago. I haven’t had time to test how well it works, but if it works properly it will be well worth the wait. There have been plenty of cheap “knockoffs” available on Amazon for years that simply didn’t work, from companies that rushed them onto market and didn’t go through proper testing like tevaplanter did.

It was a kickstarter / Indiegogo and you are dissappointed it was delayed?

I was concerned it would never come, but 2.5y later it has. this is normal for crowdfunded projects. If you can purchase one from their website, it will likely come MUCH quicker, as they have worked out their production process.

October 2020. I am the eternal optimist. I always look for the good in people. I am furious at being taken advantage of. It's a paltry amount, but, because of terraplanter I refuse to take part in ANY kickstarter or project funded operations again. This cost kickstarter far more than the paltry amount I spent. I have a hard time believing kickstarter hasn't stepped in. Very disappointed.
FINALLY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 a really lame and completely dishonest reply stating their relentless pursuit of a product that after 3 years of waiting is rather substandard. I am quite disappointed in this planter. It's really quite lame, and it has to be the perfect plant in order to work... PATHETIC!!!

Never ever funding indiegogo or Kickstarter projects ever again. Backed this project THREE YEARS AGO and they always fall short on their promises. Tevadama / Tevaplanter / Teraplanter / Adama studios ( they’ve changed their names multiple times ) probably to run away from being caught as a scam company. They’ve found loop holes in the indiegogo and Kickstarter platforms and are taking full advantages of it ( by not delivering on promised dates , never responding to emails or comments , no refunds ) etc.

fraud .. wire fraud ... they don't have a product ... contact FBI

Three years after backing the project on June 17, 2020, I still have no backer reward. The project team has made many misleading statements about delivery schedules.

I agree with many that this is indeed a scam. So much money has been raised and similar products have saturated the market for a long time. It should not take 4 years for them to ship me my reward.

I will never support kicStarter or any of these after this experience

Just in case someone end up here thinking they got scammed.... it took a looooong time (3 years for me) but they're finally here. I'm based in the UK. Hopefully you'll get yours soon! They're also well made and I'm excited to start trying some different plants:)

I am backer #29,831. It is the end of April and still no product (again we are sent an endless stream of “updates”, as promised in latest update). Produce item or refund money! I don’t see it as effective, because it is not true! I have been waiting 3 years. Very poor corporate model.

I honestly thought I'd never receive anything but I can happily say that today I have received my 2 Kickstarter pledges 3 years after the original estimated delivery date (I'm in the UK). Better late than never so thanks so much to your team for persisting through these world events to get the original backer's orders shipped around the globe.

This is a moneymaking scam - they have had my money for 30 months and no sign of the product.
Between Indigogo and Kickstarter they have taken over £10 Million of customer's money - making some very rich people and some very unhappy backers

Took almost 3 years but finally arrived. I really like their design choices. The product looks exactly like described. However, I haven't started growing anything yet. Excited to see how it goes. I must confess that I had given up hope of ever getting anything. Thank you.

Bjr ! Je voudrais préciser que ce produit n'est pas une escroquerie. Les personnes négatives sont des personnes qui n'ont pas compris le principe de fonctionnement des kickstarters. Vous précommandez pour aider à la mise en production de produits innovants donc le produit n'arrive pas forcément tout de suite, mais au bout d'un délai comprenant les aléas d'une nouvelle entreprise. Le pot en lui-même correspond exactement aux photos et vidéos du site, tant dans l'aspect que dans les dimensions. L'ensemble est bien pensé car la tour est poreuse mais pas la soucoupe. J'ai donc reçu le pot composé d'un couvercle, de la tour et de la soucoupe. Il y avait aussi un paquet de graines de chia, des élastiques pour tenir des plantes et un guide pour la mise en place des différentes sortes de plantes. Cet objet est fait pour des amateurs avertis pas pour des novices ne connaissant rien aux différentes sortes de plantes. Si vous plantez des graines, vous pourrez le réutiliser. Si vous installez une plante épiphyte ou une petite orchidée cela deviendra son pot définitif ! Le phalaenopsis présenté dans la vidéo est un mini phalaenopsis. Ce pot ne convient que pour des orchidées ou plantes miniatures ! Bonne culture à tous !

Fantastic, quality product. It took a long time to arrive, but that's the risk with Kickstarter. Congrats to the company for eventually fulfilling orders despite the global pandemic. Overall, I'm a happy backer and customer.

I am so uncertain why people have so much animosity toward a company that has supplied constant updates with clear information as to forward process and any delays. They have also made it clear why some areas are moving forward with shipping and why others must wait a bit longer.

Let’s face it - it’s Kickstarter. There is absolutely no guarantee you’ll actually get a product at all. However, you’re investing in a product that doesn’t exist yet and hasn’t been tested. For all those who complain about the initial rounds of product being destroyed or that they’re changing the manufacturing facility again - good! That’s what a new company with a novel product should do. It’d be worse if they stuck with the same product and shipped it out just to make money!

I’ve messaged customer service three times for status updates and an address change, all three times they’ve been very prompt and helpful.

Plus, they started all of this 2 months into an international pandemic. The first year they didn’t even have vaccines widely available yet, especially where manufacturing was happening.

Anyway, I have not yet received mine. But someone I know has theirs up and growing. It’s a great product (because of all the time they put into it) and worth the wait.

I also waited over two years, but my 3 tevaplanters finally arrived. They are nice to look at, packaged well, and arrived with free chia seeds to use. I'm on day 4 of my chia and the planter is working perfectly. I'm feeling confident enough now to go out and spend a little money on some others plants to use with my remaining planters. This has been a long, but exciting experience for me. I also want to mention that when I emailed the company asking when I should expect my order they politely responded the next day. I understand some of the frustration here, but not all of the vitriol. But perhaps I'm just a naive person. I sincerely hope everyone else receives theirs soon and also has a positive experience using it. Peace!

This company is just a scam. They said the Tevaplanter will be shipped july 2020 but now i just received an update that itll be march 2023. I think they will keep pushing the shipment date forward till im dead.

Ordered over a year ago. No longer getting any updates. Can’t even manage to get a refund. Total waste of money and time.

Found some vague info online. Why are they filling US, EU and Middle East before Canada? What does Canada always get screwed by indiegogo projects? :(

Well, I'm proud to announce that I actually got my Tevaplanter (Terraplanter) order - it's been a while (from May 2020) but its finally here - and its just amazing as they described it - just finished my Chia seeds first planting - and waiting to try it with other plants -
