Waste of time
I ordered two Tevaplanters from the Tevaplanter website in December 2021 and received confirmation they would be delivered during Q1 2022. These were Christmas presents for family. Q1 came and went and no Tevaplanters arrived. I received no communication from Tevaplanter to inform me of any delays. Q2 also came and went and still no Tevaplanters arrived or any communication from Tevaplanter. When I chased Tevaplanter for an update in July I was told my website order wouldn't be shipped until Q2 2023, but was at least offered a refund. I accepted the refund, but two weeks passed and I still hadn't been refunded. When I chased, I was told 'for some reason the refund didn't go through'. They then cancelled and refunded me for one of my orders, but not the other. Which meant I had to chase them again for a full refund. Which brings me to now - 8 months down the line from my initial orders, no Tevaplanters, no pro-active communication, frighteningly poor customer service and a lot of chasing from me just to get my money back. Given the number of reviews on here from people still waiting for orders from 2019 & 2020, I'm not sure why they were still taking orders in December 2021... I can't speak for the product, but based on my experience with the company, I won't be coming back!

We are sorry about the communication experience, as we are a Kickstarter company that really blew up our support communication was lacking and the Kickstarter crowdfunding details and pop ups on our website was intended to inform customers that theres a delay and that ETA of delivery is not confirmed. We were dealing with a lot from getting material mixture correct, scaling production, creating secure packaging and much more the support was lacking and we do apologies.

Like EVERYONE else I've waited 2 years for a product that never arrives. Pathetic emails every so often repeating over and over the same useless information and promising to deliver with dates coming and going like the wind. Absolutely SHOCKING "customer care" and I now DO NOT believe a word of anything they say.
With over $6M, yes Million, scammed from so many people and the pandemic logistic issues ending a long time ago, what possible excuse could they have for not fulfilling EVERYONE'S orders by now??
No email address gets you in contact with them and I'm sure I looked into it but couldn't take any other course of action due to the Kickstarter small print.
An actual disgrace that a "company" is allowed to get away with this with no recourse or accountability whatsoever. I will never seek to help out any business ever again.

It has taken some time
It has taken some time, but today I received the Tevaplanter. I expect it will work out just fine, and prepped it with chia-seeds. It's beautiful to look at, and came with a little book of advice. Neatly packed. I wonder why people have so little trust and patience. This is not a scam.

Ordered 2 years ago and have nothing…
Ordered 2 years ago and have nothing but terrible excuses from the company. Apparently they actually made the product over a year ago but then destroyed them all because they weren't 'good enough'. Reading their updates has essentially assured me that I will never receive this product at all. Period.
If i do receive it five years from now or something Im sure it'll be broken and they wont respond.

I backed and ordered my TERRAplanter…
I backed and ordered my TERRAplanter almost two years ago. I thought I was buying into and supporting such a great idea!
Since then I’ve given up any hope that I’ll ever actually see the product. They dribble information and excuses to us every month or so, but there’s nothing trustworthy in what they say. They continually have an excuse for why they have suddenly had to push back the shipment of the first stock. I thought the first stock was supposed to go out at the beginning of 2021, and here we are now being told it will be shipped at the end of jan/early feb.
WILL IT THOUGH? I highly expect another email siting another delay to shipment soon.
I’d also like to add I’m not a US customer and yet all of their first shipment plans are only focusing on the U.S despite the fact that many of us outside of the U.S backed the project earlier or at the same time.

We shipped in batches so we could only ship to one region at a time in the early stage as we were not producing as much as we do now. The first batch was the US but the following 2 were sent to the EU and Middle East. We did all we could to be as fair to all regions as possible.

Scammers with a side of trolls
I backed this project almost two years ago. Backers have received nothing but excuses and promises that are never met. When a Kickstarter project gets over 6 million dollars and backers make legitimate complaints they are then met with retorts saying they are nothing but crybabies and conspiracy theorists. Avoid this project!

I have been waiting for this product…
I have been waiting for this product over year and half ... I moved to my third home and still haven received it ... they keep pushing ship date.. mind you they are producing in china ...they say we satisfied with product mass produce ....then in their later update they say oh we are not satisfied and had to destroy the mass production ... why would they mass produce if not testing have already confirmed its good to go.. they push ship dates past a year so people can't get refunds from banks .., banks only have 12 months refund ... they are scam !!!!

Con artists
Con artists, Kickstarter raised $6 million dollars. Expected delivery October 2020 and they are still no where close to actually delivering. They update once a month with absolutely no truth or accurate information and the worst part is they will not apologize or own the delay. All they need to do in my eyes is apologize. But they are children that only know how to take peoples moneys and their mothers didn't teach them respect. A basic apology would probably calm down their now abandoned comments section that is filled with thousands of ticked off customers.
They also run paperwallet.com so buyer beware.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam. After a year and a half of waiting I filed a complaint with the FTC and kickstarter gave me a full refund in July of 2021. They are being selective with the refunds they hand out which is also super shady.

Dishonest from the start… and now rebranding
I understand Kickstarter is a platform used by start-ups to raise funds to develop their product. However you’d hope one would be honest about their actual stage of development! The guys at Terraplanter provided a pitch insinuating they had a product ready and were raising funds to scale up. Their initial timeline was totally unrealistic given their true stage of product development! Either they were actually clueless on how long this process was going to take them (which is worrying) or knowingly lied in order to secure funding. Either way what a s**t show… Backers have been disappointed and frustrated for over a year. When (if) the products reach us it’s unlikely any backer would truly enjoy or recommend it after all this.
They have now rebranded from Terraplanter to Tevaplanter to avoid all the terrible reviews and feedback from backers. Appalling behaviour!

When we launched on Kickstarter we had working prototypes that we created in our studio which we tested and grew many different plants on. Our manufacturing partner we worked with pre-covid was not able to assist us as the pandemic made it very difficult to get to them as well as different regions to find a manufacturing partner.
We did not expect the pandemic to be as detrimental to our progress as it was, we launched at the very beginning of the pandemic and we were working on launching the campaign for more than a year before the actual launch. We did all we could to get business rolling and we know the delay was not easy to endure which we apologies for. We are now very happy to be at a place where all of our backers have their rewards and we are now helping growers with their grow.
Regarding the rebrand inquiry, we decided on the rebrand because it felt more aligned with our vision for the brand. We made sure to share this update on all our social media channels and through a Kickstarter update.

TOTAL SCAM
This project raised over $7,000,000!!!! Then got $25,000,000 from a huge investor, supposedly. They raked in cash but NO PRODUCT HAS SHIPPED. When contacted they say they don't have my name or my email address on file, so I sent them my receipt. Then they say they can't get attachments in emails!

Have been waiting over 6 months for this item that I was told would be delivered three months ago. They just keep pushing back the delivery time. When I requested a refund, they refused it. I’m sure I’ll never receive the two planters I spent $113 on. Total scam!

Tevaplanter is the scam Terraplanter rebranded
Terraplanter is an incredibly disorganised and unreliable company. They have over $6 million in sales on Kickstarter alone, pretend to be ready to ship, been waiting THREE YEARS for it to be sent. They haven’t sent orders to anyone. Every couple of months they make up some excuse for a delay. First it was shipping delays for parts, then it was that they were finalising it, now they’ve just announced they don’t even know how to make the terracotta! There is no way I am ever going to see this product, and neither is anyone else.
They tried rebranding from all the negative publicity. I have no doubt they will become bankrupt soon, just to keep everyone’s money. Be warned. I highly encourage everyone to share your experience about this company. I’m taking it to social media (and I work in marketing, to help it go viral). I’m reporting them to each Consumer Rights group, my credit card company as fraud, and also to all review sites.

Disappointing and a possible scam.
As my review was removed without reason, I need to write it again.
This company is probably a scam (getting reviews removed confirms this).
The Kickstarter project struggles with constant delays and with lack of communication since the beginning.
A lots of people are dissatisfied and lost trust.
The @Creators were ignoring essential questions on purpose and made no attempt to restore lost trust due to this.
They have changed their name from Terraplanter, so that is the same company.
Trustpilot: It would be good at least, if you would send a notification before removing reviews. This is not the most transparent and straight way of doing this.
