Placing my order was easy, and I received the products on time. One of the products would not turn on. The customer service team got me a replacement and made it easy to return the broken item.

The speaker I ordered was not compatible with my computer. The open box let me send the speaker back for a full refund, no questions asked!

I purchased an item as a father's day gift. Several weeks after the purchase I had to follow up because the gift never arrived. When I checked the status, I got a half-hearted response: "I do see that the order was canceled, but I also see that the tracking was uploaded to the order and then canceled. So I am not sure what is going on. Can I send the item out to you or would you just like a refund at this point?"

I asked that the item be shipped as I had originally requested - no response for several weeks. Then I finally get an email asking if I wanted a refund or for the item to be shipped - when I asked that it be shipped, I was told the item was no longer in stock and a refund was issued. They also offered me a nonsense 10% discount on a future order - as if I would ever use this company for any service in the future. I usually let bad service go - but this was absolutely disgusting and my father just received an alternative gift over a month late. Thanks guys - you are absolutely awful.


I am now responding to Open Box' reply - You have given me absolutely no reason to ever use your service again. A 10% discount is an absolute insult.

I purchased two new Kindle Fire HP7 tablets from The Open Box for my twin grandsons' 9th birthday. I got a great price. They both worked well but one didn't stop shutting down after a week or two. I tried everything and when I looked on Google to see what I could find about the problem, I noticed that others were having the same problem. I didn't know what to do so I emailed the support team from The Open Box, explaining my problem. They got back to me immediately and told me that they had a slightly used one that I could try. They sent it to me right away and I told them I would have the boys try it out and let them know how it worked. It works great and when I asked them about what to do next with the one that didn't work correctly, they said to use it for parts and I didn't have to send it back. They resolved my problem quickly and efficiently and I would recommend them to anyone. I give them 5 stars without hesitation. Thanks for solving a problem for a 9 year old boy who is very happy now.

I am highly impressed with the customer service provided by the Open Box team. It was such a refreshing experience! Usually service is sacrificed for great prices but that was not the case when I bought my Jawbone :)
