Service by garage was great and very happy with them but the AA app kept telling me to pay again and then kept sending me text for an appointment which had already been done!! Will think now before using that service again as the app seems useless.

Recently used them for a service so booked again for second car but sadly a complete different experience. He was only here for less than a hour for a full service so I lack confidence that he did it all as previous mechanic was thorough

It was so convenient. Saved me a lot of time waiting and service was carried out in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend this service. I looked a costings and compared before I booked and the price was very reasonable.

We booked on line for 8am, and booked a day off work.
We arrived at 8:30 (when the garage opened).
We came back at 11am to collect to collect the car to be told the Service was booked in 8am but the MoT was booked in at 1:30pm. The car was not ready to 2:30pm.

This should be clear on the booking.

Replacement of all four wheels brake pads and disks and done on time with no mess.

The only thing that the mechanic did not do was adjust the hand brake. It was three notches/clicks for full hand brake, now its seven (did not test it myself till sometime after).

I had an interim service done at home in October 2025 and am still waiting to receive documentation of the work that was carried out. I have called AA numerous times and have been told they would resolve this, but I never hear back from them and almost a year on I cannot believe how poor the customer service is. I really don't know where to turn next.

Booking process appears simple and straightforward with competitive pricing.
Booked our car in at a local garage using the AA for an annual service and MOT.
The first issue came when the garage contacted us directly to advise that the requested date was not available. They booked us in for a week later.
The car needed a wiper blade and bulb for to pass the MOT for which we were told we would need to pay an additional 43.20 in labour (plus the parts).
The garage also fitted a new pollen filter which wasn't on the listed service items and then charged us for the Air Filter which was supposed to be included.

Overall, our car was serviced and MOTd, just a week later and with unexpectedly high labour charges which weren't expected and were completely out of our control at that point. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this service and certainly won't be using them again.

Smartcare changed the time the first time without notifying me to a different day, then the second time to the right time but then they sent me another email changing that so I arrived for my MOT two hours early...on a work day so I had to suffle everything around. All for a £12.50 saving. I wont do it again.

When I picked up my car yesterday there was a Greggs coffee cup hold in the passenger footwell and an empty cup in cup holder. I do not expect my car to be used for the Greggs run. My car was with them for 6 days since you did not have the parts.
