Ordered a solar light for my front door and it arrived on time. Product looks good and works very well. Had a small product issue - which was not the fault of SolarCentre - and they helped me out promptly. Recommended.

Bought some solar lights… well it is a solar online retailer!!

I’ve bought loads, as they are good quality and great prices.
One didn’t work! Quick email, fast response and quickly dispatched a replacement. Great human service, no bots, no droids, no AI, just great customer service from Ella and Nicole in their customer satisfaction department.

Well done ladies. You’ve won me over again.

Excellent customer service, helpful and friendly staff, Ella resolved my query quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend this business. Great efficient products still working years to come.

Unfortunately my Firefly lights stopped working as the battery connections had become corroded. Of course 4 months out of warranty, but was offered a 30% discount from Ella which I have taken, as they are so pretty.

This was my first experience ordering from Solar Centre and unfortunately it will also be my last.

I placed my order on 08/07/2026 and paid an extra £4.99 specifically for Friday delivery because I was hosting an outdoor party that evening and wanted to have my new lights installed in time. The parcel never arrived!

After having to chase them up myself by email and receiving no response, I had to phone customer services myself. I was then told that Royal Mail had placed a hold on the parcel because it contained batteries. While I appreciate this may have been outside Solar Centre's direct control, my contract was with Solar Centre, not Royal Mail. I would have expected a retailer selling products with batteries to have contingency plans in place rather than leaving customers waiting indefinitely.

They refunded my £4.99 delivery charge. But I then had to follow up with them an additional 2 times. When it became clear the issue couldn't be resolved, they refunded the full cost of the lights. However, that doesn't make up for the disappointment of missing the event I purchased them for in the first place.

Overall, poor communication, a failure to deliver on the promised delivery date and no effective solution when things went wrong. A very disappointing first impression.

Always shop here as good quality lights. Had one set lights with faulty bauble but spoke to ella who sorted a replacement out . Rately have issues. Items are packed well and sent quickly via royal mail . Thanks again !

The lights are beautiful and produce an incredible amount of light, completely transforming the ambience of my garden. I did have a slight issue with one of the bulbs, but Nicole responded quickly and sent out a replacement straight away. The customer service was exceptional—fast, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the support.

I've used the SolarCentre a few times now and the service has been excellent and good value. Even when I had an item delivered that was damaged, I sent a photo of the issue and they sent a replacement within a couple of days. Great, thankyou.

Great service from Nicole sorting out a problem with a post Peake light. Replcament sent.

I bought 4 sets of Lavenham Solar lights. They were delivered very quickly and look fabulous on my wall. Love the fact that you can take the main part of the lamp off and store it safely over winter. 7 of the eight worked perfectly but there was a problem with one. An email was sent and the speed with which the issue was resolved was great thanks to Nicole who did a great job. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend using this family run business. I had a slight issue with recently purchased solar spotlights when an integral part broke but I found the Solar Company so helpful. They replaced the part free of charge. I would like to thank Nicole in particular who sorted this out for me. I have purchased many items from this Company, all good quality and will continue to buy from them. They obviously attach great importance to customer care and they are a pleasure to deal with.

I would have gave more than five stars if I could. I have been dealing with this company for many years there solar lights are amazing quality. Like any company you sometimes have little faults happening in anything you buy. This company regarding any faults are sure to there word they deal with it quickly and hassle free. Nicole was dealing with a problem I had she dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Give this company a try you won’t be disappointed I just wished more company’s where like them.

Recently purchased a set of Juno micro lights and a Grantham XL up and down light. Both are excellent and happy with them.
Had a small problem with one of the batteries (not charging), but after a quick chat with Ella in customer services it was resolved. Thanks Ella.
