Let me start with the fact that this app and the people who are providing services are sexist. Why would I say so? I have been asked to reschedule my slots and the reason was "we women are suppose to stay home so I am sure you would have plenty of time apart from this particular hour you have booked" This has happened with me not once but thrice.
Let me add one more experience of unprofessionalism from the company. Today I booked a slot at 12 pm, and called the beautician if she will be there on time. She was at a hospital for some investigations so I asked her she could take whatever time she needs and then inform me if she could be there. She kept delaying and in the end I had to cancel the appointment. Now I have made an appointment at 5.30 pm. Meaning to say I have been hassling and delaying my work and wasted time waiting to get a response from 11.30am to 5.30 pm just to get waxed!!
The company should teach professionalism to the service provider. If you have doctor's appointment, don't keep your slots open, or a leave on that day.
If you are running late or you want to change the service time, request the customer in a professional manner to reschedule it instead making sexist comments like "you are a woman and what else you have to do anyways".
Highly disappointed.

I booked a kitchen cleaning service to which I got the call from the personnel that I need to empty or the kitchen for the same and so I did it before his arrival. Just before he was suppose to come he called me up telling me that his mother had died and he can't come. To which I told him that I understand and asked him to get someone else to do the same because I've already emptied my kitchen. He couldn't help me so I tried their help centre and asked for a call back. They were also not able to arrange anyone immediately and after lots of discussion they arranged it for 6:00 PM in the evening whereas my original booking was for 8:00 AM. So obviously I've to cancel the service as with this new schedule my kitchen has to be empty for whole day. Not to mention because of this whole stupidity I couldn't even get my lunch cooked because they confirmed the schedule at around 11:00 PM.

The worst experience I had recently with Urban company.
I had booked a carpenter for bed repair and he damaged the bed which costs Rs.35k.
Please do not book any service from Urban company. This is a big fraud company.

Booked deep cleaning services for a 3 bedroom apartment. Just an hour before the cleaners were to come, they called to ask if it’s an empty house. If it’s not, “it will cost extra, but let them start the work”. At no point in their app while booking is there an option to choose an empty house or one with furniture. The customer care person Mehek Mehra was the worst.

Urban clap is money minded...I requested for a cleaner and the cleaner did not have a visa & ID... she was stopped by my building security. They tried to send another cleaner but took a lot a time and i was late for my schedule fr the day. When the cleaner came, she was slow and I could she was not used to cleaning...I was fooled by urban clap constant ads.. DO NOT CHOOSE THEIR APS SERVICE...YOU WILL REGRET IT...Urban clap do not even choose to have google reviews, i wrote a review on their app, but it was never published

My experience has been dissappointing...They take 100 % payment.They do no reach on time.. They do not inform the customers. Completely unprofessional behaviour..

माझा urbanclap या कंपनी बद्दलचा अनुभव ही कंपनी फ्रॉड व फसवणूक करणारी आहे मी त्यांना माझ्या घराचे रंगाचे काम दिले होते त्यांनी माझ्या कडून 7000 रुपये घेतले व 13 फेब्रुवारी 2021 ला काम सुरू करतो असे सांगून गेले आज 19 तारीख आहे कोणीही त्यांचा सुपरवायझर फोन घेत नाही व कस्टमर केअर सेंटरमध्ये फोन लावला तर थोड्या वेळात तुमचे काम सुरू होईल व आमचा सुपरवायझर तुम्हाला भेट देईल असे सांगण्यात येत आहे पण कोणीही येत नाही व फोन घेत नाहीत
त्यामुळे ह्या कंपनी बरोबरनीची सर्व्हिस घेतल्यानि माझी फसवणूक झाली आहे

NEVER get ur ac serviced/repaired by Urban Company .. my first hand experience. horrible technician, damaged the ac coil with a flame!!! without checking the source of the problem/gas leakage and then claims ac coil has leaks ! my serious advice pls stick to service being done by authorised brand service like Daikin India etc
or the company dealer. #UrbanCompany customer care will never accept the fault of their so called technicians or refund / compensate for damages which is nothing less than fradulent! Their customer care even refuses to tell their ‘names’ for fear of being ‘blamed’ ! #FAIL #DayLightRobbery !

End result : fully functional AC Daikin R 32 only needing regular summer service completely damaged by #UrbanCompany #Urbanclap

DON'T USE THIS APP! They charged me 7000 extra with work incomplete. And the professional is now not answering calls!

Their pest control services are not good at all.
I think using simple HIT did a better job than their services. I would NEVER Recommend Pest control services of URBAN CLAP TO ANYONE.

Urban Company is a completely fraud, they take the booking with 100% advance but don't reach to the place in time and also don't bother to inform customer, they don't have any contact number where customer can contact. India Govt. should ban this company immediately and send the MD behind the jail. They don't have any difference then cheat fund.

Extremely pathetic service by Catherine. I am not gonna try again urban company. Below are reasons
1. Scheduled at 4 30 pm, turned up at 6 30 pm
2. Booked for 3 hours for 1 BHK apartment and still the work is incomplete as she was very slow.
3. The washroom cleaned by her is like it was done 1 week before, not at all properly cleaned.
4. When asked her to clean the floor in the bathroom, she is like it is big and will take time and left by just pouring water.

For your information, the total charge was AED 73 but she used the vacuum, so she asked AED 30 more for using it which I paid.

Nightmare for one room painting. Everything was good till full payment was made and painters showed up. No packing of wooden floors as promised. Horrible finish of painting. Wrong paint color sent that took company 4 days to correct. So I had no access to room. Only one painter after being promised 2. Room took 10 days instead of 2 and painter asked me to pay for extra paint and corrections. In between painter did not show up for 2 days saying he is unwell. No response from company after submitting multiple complaints. worst nightmare. Save yourself the hassle and get local painters who take money after job.

I called a beauty professional for salon experience. Her name is Sush and she works for giving services in faridabad. She is the worst. Urbanclap should not let her work anymore. She uses wrong products and is not at all polite. Also she abused me . Abusing customers should not be acceptable.

Called urbanclap for a 3bhk hoise cleaning.
They came by 2, saying that we will come after lunch, stayed till 8 but four guys together could not finish the work in 5 hours.
Then they said that will come the next day to do the remaining work.
They finished it the next day, but thr contactor was charging for us 600rs extra for coming there for 2 days.
The cleaning guys were asking for 400 extra for cleaning a small area which was part of the kitchen itself and attached with the kitchen.
Really bad experience.. the contractor had too many demands and didn't know how to talk.. he dedicates when to come, and told us to come in the morning by 9.. so that they can start the work early all the way from south delhi rather than working on our convienient time and then he argued to give him extra for 2 days commuting.
Never going to book them again.

I signed up for paint job and was assured 2 labourers, and complete house will be protected including all furniture and flooring.

Only 1 labourer turned up, saying second is busy.
Horrible maskin job done - no protection on furniture and no protection on floor. Says I will clean it.
Uses thin paint, when pointed out - says it will look ok once the paint has dried
Does not clean any part of the house

Second day
Again only 1 labourer - says second labourer wants holiday because of Sunday
Does not clean home
Old wall marks still visible from the thin layer paint, and he says i will do a touch up - can you believe it??? Touch up for a new job just done?

I stop work and try to call Urban Company

No resolution for 3 days
My money is gone - house is in horrible mess - and no job done and Urban Company not willing to provide resolution or issue refund.

They are a fraud company.
Do not do business with them !!!

Terrible experience.

I booked a painting service in December. All payments done on time. Till the time payment was due and not received, the personnel was all accessible, infact reaching out proactively.
Once the painting started, he did not even turn up once or contact. Seems he was the suryeyor. How does the customer know what work area these people take care of.
Now to the painting. Cracks started appearing on all walls within a week. Painters came back and patched the walls. Leaving all walls all botched up.

Reason told: painters said as per the invoice generated by the surveyor, they were instructed to only apply putry on the cracks and not whole wall. One coat of primer and two coats of paints.
This type of instruction will definitely lead to uneven walls.
Who is responsible for this mess?
Suryeyor- he says he spoke to the painter
Painter- Madam I have done as per invoice. Call me how many ever times you want to fix the wall.
Customer - Already duped. Should he keep calling the painter to fill cracks appearing every week.
And these are not structural cracks.

Recommendation - Just don't fall prey to this. Go for local painters where you pay after the service is done.

WE HAD TO CALL THESE SCAMMERS TO SERVICE OUR RO PURIFIER AND THEY CAME AND LOOKED IT AND WAS ASKING US TO PAY NEARLY A 5K FOR THE SERVICES THEY WERE PLANNING TO PROVIDE US. NEVER EVER BELIEVE ANYTHING THE LISTED ON THEIR SITES I MEANT FOR EACH THE THINGS THEY COLLECT MONEY FOR, SUCH AS CHANGEING FILTERS OR MOTOR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. AS YOU WILL NEVER EVER HEAR FROM THE SAME PRICE THAT YOU ALREADY SAW ON THEIR PRICE CARD WHICH IS JUST FOR IMPULSE YOU, WHEN YOU KNOW THE REAL PRICE YOU WILL GET SHOCKED. I DON'T LET THESE SCAMMERS TO CHEAT ANOTHER INNOCENTS I AM PLANNING TO SPREAD THESE SCAMMERS DOINGS PRETTY MUCH EVERY BLOGS AND SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES WE MAINTAINING. WE SHOULDN'T LET THESE SCAMMERS LIVE AND CONTINUE TO CHEAT INNOCENTS. BE WARE OF THESE SCAMMERS, INSTEAD YOU CAN HIRE ANY RANDOM GUY DOWN THE ROAD,LOOKING FOR HIS NEXT TURN SO AS TO HE CAN FEED HIS FAMILY. HELP POOR PEOPLE BY PROVIDING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY RATHER THAN FILLING THESE SCAMMERS POCKETS.
