Extremely pathetic service
Extremely pathetic service. Infact no service provided as they kept cancelling and rescheduling my appointment for today (03/07/23) Had booked a head massage for 30mins but they failed to assign any expert for 1.30 PM then they called to give 4 PM slot and now I received a message that an expert cannot come right now and will again reschedule my slot for 6 PM. It's a Sunday and we all have tasks lined up. I kept my self available from 1PM - 4.30PM. Wherein, I had to go out for some personal work and now I'm in the middle of nowhere. This is not the first instance. It had happened with me in the past as well but I kept ignoring but now it's the high time to post an honest review about Urban Company dark reality. I would advise you all to stop wasting your time especially when you have only 1 day off on a Sunday in a week. Highly disappointing and unprofessional experience once again. Also, I tried booking a full body massage 3 days earlier where the total cost was coming around 1249/- appx and the same I tried booking for today and I was shocked to see their manipulative AI that the price have gone to 1649/- appx. The AI captures the interest of the customers and later given the higher price. Looting the customers big time. I wish I could attach the screenshots of everything for a better clarity but I don't see any options to upload it here.
Home Painting Services are a horror
Their paintiung services are an absolute horror. I booked my service in East Delhi more than 10 days in advance, took leave from work, scheduled everything and then they just did not assign any professional to the task on time. Nor did they have the coutsey to warn me that no professional was available, after taking the booking money, nor did anyone get back to me about why this happened. On pursuing it with their customer care, i was first told there was a technical glitch and the professional will start the work soon and complete it on time. Nothing happened after that again. On calling again i was told they were still looking for professionals , if it didnt happen in 2-3 days, they THEY WOULD CANCEL THE BOOKING. this was the height of unprofessionalism and irresponsibility. People have to take leave, arrange schedules for painiting assignments , they were so careless and arbitraay about their customer's time, money . ThIS WAS SHEER HARASSMENT . iT is unheard of that any company can behave like this after booking an assignment much in advance. I am appalled by their callousness. They obviously have no good staff, i also saw reviews which are horror stories on how so many of their assignments are just not completed on time and in an efficient manner with shoddy work and irresponsible supervisors and managers . Please dont bother with their painting services. I intend to take them to consumer courts for this callousness after being forced to cancel their painting assignment while they kept still sitting on it for 3 days.
Split AC service experience
I ordered for split ac service after some days i am facing cooling issue as there is 30 days warranty, i resubmitted my request but there is no response from engineer also not from support.
1st and last worst experience.
Fake compe
It is better to contact local technicians for repair of any kind of appliance instead of calling UC, because they take up the job and deligate the same to local Mistry.
They fool the customers by giving fake assurances and use nongenuine spares only.
They don't have any customer support number where we can lodge complaints

Urban company customer service people was fraud guys,they not solved my problem and cut the calls in middle if not they saying will call back but not getting any solution from ur fraud company.ur service person damaged my ac now it was not working and problem was not solved they saying will assign service person and he will not came

They have very poor service. I ordered waxing and threading for 550/- which looked really affordable for me and it was a known company so I trusted it. Biggest mistake! The lady that came for service was very irresponsible as waxing was done half way through but the jar of wax was empty and she didn’t even brought a thread for threading. I contacted the company asked for a refund but they never gave a response. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!

Service & Technicians:
Recently I had booked a service with them for cleaning my air conditioner.
The first time the technician didn’t show up at the booked time slot. So I had to reschedule it for an alternative slot.
Then the technicians who visited my place was so poor and uncooperative. The estimated time for the service I booked was supposed to be 45 mins and since this is not my first time I know that it takes an hour most often than not. But these technicians were just interested in getting the OTP so that they can leave asap. And this was within the first 20 mins. The best part is they didn’t even complete 50% of the job. When asked about it they have a lot of lame reasons. Finally I mentioned that I had booked for a service that takes care of intense cleaning of both the indoor and the outdoor unit. To which they respond saying that your brand of AC would need that and it’s supposedly not good for this particular unit. If that’s the case, why have every technician been doing it for years now? Anyways, since I compelled them they just sprayed some water on the unit that’s placed in my balcony. Then continued spraying a bucket full of water while they asked me not to stay in the room. Then clogged the entire space and made a huge mess out of it. Soon they just packed and left.
So they didn’t do a great job of the indoor unit but managed to spoil my wall making it as dirty as possible. Then they made a mess of my balcony and it looked like a puddle of dirty water and a lot more damages in my room. Basically the list goes on and on. It took me 2 hours to clean the mess they left behind.
Support:
For some reason their app looks outdated cuz there seems to be no proper chat option with the support team. So I had to write multiple feedbacks and I finally get contacted by the support agent.
This support agent was such a waste of my time. It was like talking to a robot 🤖 which picks the keywords from what we say and they keep repeating the same answer over and over again. ZERO human touch and there was not even a minimal effort taken to understand and address the issue. My ask was simple - after such a horrible and incomplete service experience I wanted a refund. Isn’t that fair enough? No matter what, the conversation went nowhere with the person cuz she was just repeating herself saying that she can send a technician to look at it. After all the bad experiences I just mentioned, why would I even trust them to do their job better this time? What’s the guarantee? And honestly based on the behaviour of those technicians - I DO NOT FEEL SAFE not COMFORTABLE letting them into my house. I would rather go back to the good old ways of calling in the person whom we connect well with.
And not to mention their weird (or should I say cheap) trick to handle these tickets?!?! On couple of instances they try reaching (mostly during your lunch time) over the phone. Cut the call quickly and dial again immediately. What’s the expectation here? If I’m occupied and busy I need to drop all my work and pick up the call cuz a gentleman from UC has called and nothing more can be important than that? Cuz I really don’t understand the idea of calling a person back to back? And they have the audacity to follow that up with a msg saying that they called twice and I didn’t pick up. All this drama is to quickly close the support ticket that had been raised. So maybe when asked they can pin point it on me saying I was unavailable.
It’s only now I understood that it’s all part of their elaborate plan and they really do not give a damn about what the customer has to say!
Damn, I miss the good old days when the customers where treated as a king or atleast with some respect. A cleave ruse UrbanCompany!
They had successfully taken the money from me > provided a pathetic service > followed by a even more worrying support system that’s in place. And now the AC ain’t fixed, it’s splashing water on my face for some odd reason! I’m confused with this experience and I’m not sure if I’m a joker or a looser. Not sure which is an apt word in this situation.
I’m not sure if they would bat an eye about me ranting here. But I will try to share this dreadful experience with as many as possible so that they can expect something similar in the near future or consider an alternative.

They are theives in disguise...i called an ac servicing person through urban company last month april and there was a fault in compressor not working...he said there is no gas and charged me for that...later on i called a technician of my own to come to know that an mcb of ac motherboard was burnt which was the reason for compressor not working and the UrbanCompany guy didnot fix the correct issue instead charged me fraud for Ac Gas

Never trust this company. They running a scam. They are the biggest scammers who just fetch money out of your pocket. Last month in April I used their services to get both of my air conditioners serviced for which I paid Rs 3700 which included the repair cost and service cost. Now after service one of the air conditioner started giving problems so I called them and they booked a revisit and I didn't have to pay coz they give a 3 months warranty on that which will expire in June 2022. So the senior technician visited and he fixed it. Now a few days back the air conditioner started giving problems again so I called the help desk and they told me that I cannot do a revisit on this because I already avail it. Well, this was shocking to me because what I understand by warranty is that if you face the same problem again so you can avail of the warranty within the period. So the executive said that I already availed the revisit so I am not eligible for that again. And they refunded me the amount and that too only Rs 1900 which was not even the complete price of the repair that they charge. Now here is the scam they do. They ask you to book a new service again. So they charge you Rs 499 on that plus they charge you again Rs3000 for the repair cost. So in that way they ask you to pay more money instead of asking you directly, they just show off that they are sorry and refund you just a small amount. Well just beware of this company and their MO. Biggest scammers. It should be boycotted and should be closed and locked.

Horrible untrained staff not one service is up to mark so unhygienic unprofessional no masking no hygienic just filling staff with no experience i have had on blood in all nails with the simple manicure service .. any instruction u give and they argue or reply back this is the class of the technicians sent absolute illiterate way of handling customers

If you are using URBAN COMPANY service then that is the biggest mistake of you life … call the locals in your area, I called for ac service before that it was working all fine as I was using it from last 2 weeks and then thought of servicing …. But because the technician after a day we found a leakage in the gas pipes and got it repair from locals

I asked for AC service and told them to bring gas to be filled as gas is low and requires R32 gas. they denied stating can't be done we don't give fast service we will check then willsee what to do. I already checked with local technician and he did not have so checked urban company service which proved to be worst

Poor service and response
I booked a Ac servicing professional and he came to my house. He asked for additional gas filling charges which is approx 2200 rs. I denied to take it as I requested for service only. He cancelled the service from his end and left the house. I got 100 rs refund only whereas I paid 450 rs while booking the request. Please help in refunding 350 rs since I haven't taken any service and it got cancelled from his end only. Looking for resolutions since they are not responding at all

Bad bad experience for lock repair. I booked and got a guy name Navneet Pandey.
This guy had no expertise replace a new godrej lock and locked the door permanently. Urban company not taking any warranty or liability responsibility . Most likely door has to be broken just a 300 rupee work will cost me 10000 excluding amount paid to urban company and cost of new godrej door.
Their customer care avoids any answers for path forward door is locked for last 4 days.
It seems fraud to me. I have been cheated by this company in Mumbai.

I had booked deep clean ac service for 8 acs in home at kanpur. The technician refused to deep clean, just washed ac with a bucket water and told me that he has to leave and will come the next day, but he did not and to my surprise closed the job by writing job done.
I complained in the app...and that guy came after 4 days. He once again did one ac...same style water bucket..no foam used as shown in the adds and on app...he said we do only like this and rushed from my home. I complained again and they apologised and sent some senior technician to service the ac. But without ending to the misery, the mechanic was stopped from working at my home by his seniors as he would charge the company for servicing the ac for which the company has taken huge sum of money....he waited for hours...one called to do it...other called to stop...eventually he went back without doing anything. I complained and they could not answer...the job is still open...money was paid...i feel cheated and humiliated...it’s a fraud company with all company employee carrying out a nexus of looting people.soon going to file a f.i.r against the company and employees.
I request all to refrain from taking their service else you will feel cheated the same way they did with me. I am sharing my page of job which still shows work open and my complaint open.

Nothing much to say it's the same as everyone. I booked for empty house cleaning and they did nothing.
I want to talk about the customer service which is horrible. They talk only nonsense and they say they don't have any escalation matrix. And they will decide what they want and as per their policy they say there is no 100 % refund and they do b only 20%
