Excellent service albeit delivery takes longer than expected
I ordered 8 bottles on 24 February and received confirmation that they had been shipped later that day. However, as they had not been delivered by 3 March, I enquired on the status. Following a helpful reply from Vinatis in France later that day, the wine duly arrived on 4 March!
So overall an excellent service - only frustrated by the slow progress through Customs.

Bertrand Art de Vivre wines
I was delighted to find the Bertrand wines on this site. I have often had the Clairette and it was a bonus the find the one in the pottery bottle. We thought it was a tad sweeter than the normal glass bottle version, which was very much to our liking. What a bonus to find the red GSM pottery version as well. Highly recommended.

Delivery issues
Similar to another recent review the issue is with DPD's delivery service. Despite me being in and expecting the delivery DPD claim they were "unable to deliver" the parcel. No doorbell or knock at the door. There's even a photo of the front of our house. My DPD account clearly states that they should deliver to the rear porch if we're not in. No attempt was made to do that and we were in anyway. I now have to be in again tomorrow. Who knows if DPD will actually deliver it this time. Suggest Vinatis look at another carrier. It's the first time I've tried them and so far it's been a poor experience.

Vinatis is a great, delivery company not so…
Vinatis is a great company to do business with. Good products and good service for the parts it controls. Unfortunately it uses DPD for deliveries and I have only had poor experiences with this carrier - delivery instructions ignored, parcels left exposed to the weather and to any passer-by who takes a fancy to them. I have complained - so far to fresh air. I will try Vinatis again, but if the same thing happens no more. A pity that such a good company should lose custom for this reason.

Vinatis a good choice.
Vinatis offers good. value, an excellent range esppecially in French wine which is our favourite and good value. The delivery even coming from France is excellent ; you just have to wait for the case to clear customs so 5-6 days only, which is fine by me.
