I am writing this to warn all sellers, especially those listing higher-value electronics. The current dispute system on Vinted is fundamentally broken, highly discriminatory against sellers, and directly facilitates buyer fraud.
I recently sold a mobile phone in perfect, immaculate condition to a buyer in Poland. Upon receiving the device, the buyer opened a dispute claiming it arrived damaged and scratched, while simultaneously refusing to return the item and demanding a partial refund (a discount) so they could keep it.
When I explicitly messaged the buyer stating that I accept a full return and will not grant any discounts, the buyer began intentionally ignoring my messages. Why? Because Vinted’s flawed system issued a 48-hour deadline for us to "reach a mutual agreement," failing which automated bots would rule on the case. By completely ignoring me, the buyer is deliberately exploiting this architectural loop to run out the clock, hoping the automated system will award them both the money and the phone.
To make matters worse, Vinted’s customer support has been entirely unreachable for over a week, responding only with useless automated robot messages. There is no manual button for a seller to unilaterally force a return and generate a shipping label once a dispute is open, leaving honest sellers completely helpless against malicious buyers who stall for time over the weekend when human support is offline.
This is a clear case of digital asset misappropriation. If Vinted closes this transaction in the fraudster's favor due to their own broken automated system, a formal cyber-fraud report will be filed with the police, the phone's IMEI will be blacklisted across the EU, and a complaint will be lodged with the Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT).
Vinted, fix your broken dispute architecture and stop protecting scammers.

I forgot my password and, as usual, clicked "forgot password", but I didn't receive any email. So I wrote to them about the situation, and oooh my God, what a disgusting and worthless so-called "support"...

Someone called Amr wrote to me in English, then Omar took over the conversation, and then some other Machmud... There are no problems with English, but I don't really understand why they connected me to English support if I wrote in Lithuanian to Lithuanian support... After about 10 emails walking in circles (because they simply replied with copy/paste messages and didn't listen to what I said or sent), I asked SEVERAL times to transfer me to Lithuanian-speaking staff, because we couldn't communicate, and they all refused to do so, saying, "We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the outcome. Please know that we've taken the time to review your case carefully and are here to assist you. If you have questions or concerns regarding a different matter, please open a new inquiry, and we will do our best to help you out."

WTF??? This is the first time I've encountered a situation where hired support staff from third-world countries would be completely lost in their work and refuse to transfer the client to their country's support...

Disastrous support experience. I’ve sent several things on Vinted. Now I am trying to activate my balance and verify that I am a real person, and it is not successful. Communication with the Support is the infinite ridiculous loop of autoreplies, contradictory instructions and ignoring. I am going to address to Lithuanian state regulators.

Quick, easy to buy, sell and make money.

Sent the product, got scammed he got the priduct for free and i got 0 euros, PAID for shipping and didn’t got it back. Contacted Vinted Support got NOTHING.
