Good prices (for my salt) and great…
Good prices (for salt) and great (local) delivery service (it's just been delivered in about 1 week).
I've also discovered that they offer a reasonable water softener repair/servicing option too, so that's something I'm looking at too.

A very nice chap delivered our block…
A very nice chap delivered our block salt, which we're very grateful for. My only thought is that it would be helpful to have a text or email to tell us the day of the delivery. As luck would have it, we were in, which makes it easier for the driver. Otherwise we're extremely happy with Greens.

Speedy maintenance is not their strong point
We have a water softener supplied by Greens in November 2021 and were very happy with it. Recently it has started to regenerate very frequently, so often that Anglian Water thought that we had a leak. I called Greens and was given an appointment for over 1 month later. I monitored the softener and it is now regenerating daily so I called Greens to try to bring the appointment forward and was told that both maintenance engineers are fully booked and we cannot be brought forward. If they are that busy then they are selling poor quality equipment and need to recruit more engineers.

Thank you for your review which is understandably borne out of your frustration about our current extended service lead times, especially as we're generally so well known for exceptionally prompt service to our customers for over 30 years.
We're addressing this short term issue at pace and already bringing forward a great many calls, resolving many service issues much faster than originally promised. Although a genuine water softener emergency is very rare (they can easily be turned off and isolated until repaired) our customers do place a high value on softened water in their homes and so when something happens to their system, it is of course greatly missed.
Whilst we accept your review may have been written in the heat of the moment, we would respectfully suggest that your claim that our short term jump in service lead times are due to the equipment we supply being unreliable is a gross over extrapolation, and that this would be very clear to a reasonable person reading it.
As one of very few truly independent UK water softener distributors we carry a wide range of solutions to meet customer demand. Our core business is in Consumer Range domestic water softeners and these have never been more efficient, cost effective and reliable. Of course this doesn't detract from your own issue, and we're genuinely sorry not to have met your expectation of a prompt visit. Your call is currently booked in, and we will be in touch as soon as any opportunity to bring it forward arises.

Awful handling of goods by courier.
Nothing wrong with what the company supplies. In my case a supply of Kinetico Salt blocks. However, their courier takes no notice of the yellow advisory notes on the the packages stating that the contents are heavy (24kg in total) and that they should be handled carefully. Unfortunately, no notice is taken and salt blocks arrive in pieces and in some cases in granules and cannot be used. Broken ones create a problem when used and need to be attended to every now and then. Despite having raised the issue the company has no decency to respond.
