I cannot process my click-and-collect order due to your website setup. Even though I have completed the address book with the correct address, I was still unable to proceed to the checkout because it told me I hadn't created an address. When I went in to edit this, it told me the address already existed!

Received an induction cooker which failed two days later. There was no problem to send it back for a replacement & sent a courier ticket to be picked up. Unfortunately Aramex never turned up for two weeks & after contacting Briscoes to let them know they never responded. Crap service. Ended up taking it back myself.

My parcel finally arrived today but the standard of care by Aramex was absolutely appalling!! Disgraceful even. My parcel arrived a week later than the rest of my order and packaging torn and damaged. This was the first and last time I will be ordering from you again and hopefully the last time I order from a company that uses Aramex as their preferred method of delivery. Very disgruntled customer. I will be putting up a review online about this.

Went and bought a Hilton sheet set on 1/2/24,i washed as requested before using but found top sheet was the only one that had pattern(bottom was white)?-very,very bizarre considering they cost $160.won't buy that brand again !

Do not buy bedding from Briscoes! Bedding is returned once used and put back into stock!
I bought a duvet inner spent a lot of money and got bed bugs!!!! The Duvet Inner was boxed but was open in store like all the others.
I ring to tell them my issue and what happened and they will tell you at head office no bedding is put back into stock once returned this is a lie! Bedding is put back into stock, they don't know it's used as long as you put it back into the packaging! I even phoned the store to clarify and was advised it was put back into stock!!!!!
Pillows apparently are the only items they don't accept back but even that is bull as I know many people that have returned pillows back to them!
Has been an awful long process for me taking time off work and fumigating, cleaning and still washing/drying everything! Briscoes has been really unhelpful and trying to blame the supplier! It is all Briscoes! Still waiting to hear back!!!! after multiple complaints and long long wait times to try get hold of anyone! Disgusted! Keep telling me it's hygiene and they don't place items back that are used.
THEY DO!!!!! Will be taking this further!!!

WILL NEVER BUY FROM ONLINE AGAIN! I wish i have check the reviews before buying to avoid wasting time and stress. It's a lie that you "can pick up today". I went to the shop to collect but they can't dispatch the order because i didn't get the email confirmation for colllection. After 4 days I recieved the email that my order is ready for collection. They didn't mention in the email that one of my order was not there yet. I went to collect at Briscoes Henderson only to recieved 2 items out of 3. They said it will come from another store, but after 1 hour of collecting 2 items I recieved an collection confirmation email. The collected item was the item that i didn't get. It makes me confused and annoyed. Is the people working in online store know what they are doing? Until now i'm waiting to get my order. SHOULD AVOID BUYING FROM ONLINE STORE.

I missed out on revamping my home with 5 sets of curtains advertised as 60pc off because( I presume) I tried to buy as a guest and the site refused my near $1000.00 sale through my credit card.
I went to the bank to find there was nothing wrong with my card. Went back to Briscoes to be told there was no fault at their end and to show a screenshot to the bank. Was told that to access more stock it would have to come from another store and take 3 weeks . I asked as they were available on line couldn't they get them from there. Nope .. Short story .. my credit is good. Tried to register with Briscoes to see if that made a difference only to find regular price applies now.
So upset that their system has caused me so much stress over what should have been a simple experience turned into an unresolved fiasco.

Timaru store..on several purchases the price labels are so sticky they are a nightmare to get off and leave a dirty sticky residue on the product...it really is a good shop but please change your barcode price stickers

I so like going to Briscoes a lot. In fact, I love it. Have bought many things from Briscoes and I have always gone back time and time again. Will be back again.

Not very happy at all I ordered online click and collect from henderson store because it said I would be able to pick up same day as it turns out the order wasn't ready till the next day if I had of known this I would have just went to the store closest to me anyway I rung the store to see if my order would be ready the same day and the lady that answered said it normally takes 2 -4 days or could be ready in 5 hours I said to her it doesn't say that online (and she reckons yeah that's online) so my point is why have that displayed online.

There are always pricing issues with this store. Check the price tag, the discount tag and what you are charged at checkout. They are always different and misleading

Always enjoy shopping here, but for goodness sake why are you now dishing out Hello Fresh discount coupons which are available just about everywhere anyway? Not sure why you’d want to be associated in any way with that organization, but please - stick to your knitting.

SUPER FAST SERVICE MANUKAU SUPA CENTRE ☺ Appreciate you guys so much, also I was standing there while one of your workers went to get my order and another worker stops to check if i have been served. Thats what you call excellent customer service. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! I really think you guys need a pay rise or something 🙌

Worst frame I have ever bought, and I have bought over 50 in my lifetime.
I needed to frame a photo for a client and this was by far the worst quality frame I have ever had to use. I could only see truly how crap quality it was once it was too late, once I had opened the packaging and it was beyond returning.
Firstly the frame exterior was rough and not smooth paint, one side was smooth but the other was rough. So much so that when I wiped it with a cloth to remove the paint flicks that was on the glass it roughed up the cloth which left even more fibers and specks on the glass! It was a cycle of never ending cleaning the glass from paint specks coming off and going onto the photograph when I was trying to frame it. Secondly the photo I was framing was 12x16, how was it too big for this frame? This frame is not true to size. I had to cut my photo to fit in this frame which was not ideal. The picture still didn't fit correctly inside, once I put the glass on it kept sliding around because the frame was NOT true to size, so I had to glue it so that it wouldn't move around, exposing the card backing in the back.
Worst framing experience I have ever had, and this was the most expensive frame I have ever bought! Took 3x the time it normally would and with great difficulty. Will go and get cheaper ones at other stores that are 1/3 the price of this one and are actually, surprisingly WAY better quality.
1/10, only 1 star because I was desperate for a frame that day. But in the end was still embarrassed to have to send this frame to my client.

I ordered Click & Collect with the intention of collecting from the Waimairi Store at Bush Inn. A couple of days later I received an email from the courier advising my delivery has been picked up from the Papanui store. I didn’t need to know that and it confused me to hear from the courier and not from Briscoes, who never let me know to collect the parcel. I had ordered quite a few items, enough to validate the parcel being called ‘bulk’.
At home when unpacking, 3 items weren’t there and weren’t invoiced, but I’d already been charged in full upon purchase, so was owed the difference. Small as it was, the difference is mine, not Briscoes’. It was not acknowledged, there appears no function to complain other than going in store.
Their online service stinks while their in store service imo has been very good. The system needs improvement. It doesn’t flow well. Communication is lacking. Although I often say: “never say never”, but I’ll never order online from them again.

Purchased a Sofabed online with the request for the delivery one month later with a specified date as I was out of town at that time, and then received a confirmation email on my order. However, got an email from customer service that the Sofabed was delivered to my home one week’s later. I was told that the courier team had to ship back the item as no one received. I then sent another email to customer service to remind them the agreed delivery date when I ordered the item. And the response given was around one week’s time instead of 5 working days as pledged in their email. On the agreed delivery date, I was expecting the courier team would contact me when they would arrive but unfortunately no one called. So I tried to contact the hotline of Briscoes as shown in the email and after waiting for several couples of minutes, I finally get reached of someone trying to figure out the issue. But I was told to write another email for the customer service to follow up and after 2 days, I finally got the call from the courier team and they were on the way to deliver the item. What I was so amused that the delivery guy just dropped my sofabed at the lobby of my apartment instead of sending it up one level by escalator. This kind of customer service and delivery is totally unacceptable.

I ordered a Garden Shed online. Yes a garden shed. Amazing service and special shout out to Angus. He made sure that the delivery was going to plan as we live semi rural and the delivery guy was awesome. Thank you so much. We are just making space for it and hopefully it will be up in a couple of weeks time..

I ordered a Tefal Convection Oven online which was available in the Dunedin Store. I live Mosgiel 17km away from Briscoes Dunedin. Would you believe instead of couriering from the Dunedin Store some individual decided they would send one from NewPlymouth in the North Island. Unbelievable! I have had it with this Company it is poorly run

Purchased an outdoor dinning table and chairs. added some simple delivery instructions. Delivery was a nightmare, called briscos 5 times to get an update and for delivery and was told each time they would get back to be , in the end I contacted the courier ( toll, who were great ) to get the delivery sorted , but then briscos got in touch with toll and again gave wrong information and the suite was delivered to the wrong address? Thankfully Toll brought it to the correct address, seriously never experienced such poor and incompetent customer service. Buy from someone else anybody else !
