Some Good, Some Bad

Most of the technicians they send are experienced and professional...some, not. The company will, after several weeks, send someone else if not fixed so if it is something you don't really need, it's not inconvenient. The most irritating is the company sending several emails, sometimes the same day, stating various times for your appointment and when you call for any problems, the company has a foreign call center that is extremely polite but completely useless.

Felt like a bait and switch

After we'd already signed up online today we received a call telling us we'd 'jumped the gun' and could've got a better rate, then tried to give us a better rate by paying more up front. Really? Why isn't it clear on the website that a call could potentially result in a discount? This felt like a bait and switch to get more money up front, and we didn't like how that made us feel.

Terrific REPAIR Service

Terrific REPAIR Service. They offer a reasonable warranty with excellent service providers. We have used several other organizations, and none of them provide the level of quality service personnel that we receive from our Choice warranty

The repairman was at my house

The repairman was at my house, with the heating element to repair my dryer (it took 10 days to get him out). He was ready to install the part and you refused to allow him to do it! You said it was not cost effective to repair (the part cost $55), so here I am now still without a dryer and trying to find a replacement! The cost effectiveness was on your part, not mine. It takes at least a week to get someone out here and that leaves me without an important appliance. For a household of eight, a dryer is very important. You did not make me feel like a valued customer. I would not recommend your company to anyone. My experiences have not been good.

CHOICE HOME WARRANTY
The pool technician Carlos from Saturn Creations Pool & Spa LLC who came out for the repairs was totally incompetent and seems like a unscrupulous pool company. He blew up the filter did wrong diagnosis in front of the tenants tightening the clamps too tightly. He thus told the tenants that he would be liable for his mistake and thus would return to replace the filteration system that he blew up . He never returned but instead called the tenants on the 08 April and asked for $100 so that he would come back to return and do the repairs that were caused due to his fault. Instead he seems to have called your home warranty company and made up some nonsense story about pool not maintained. The pool has been maintained by the tenants regularly so the pool company contractor is lying totally .

I requested that you send a different pool contractor for the necessary repairs ASAP but instead Yvette denied my request instead believing the incompetent pool contractor. Please be advised that the tenants documented the chain of events.
I have had your home warranty for nearly a year with zero claims and this is the first real claim for some repairs that you have denied without standing up to do the repairs. This is very bad . Why do consumers like me purchase home warranty? We purchase it for peace of mind in case something breaks it would be repaired hassle free. Your company has put me through a horrible ordeal with this and I shall not ever use your services and hope others do not use your company either due to the horrible experience.

This has been a terrible experience. I have spent days, and the saga continues, trying to get them to approve a claim that is legitimate. I am being told that the original warranty applies and was transferred to me as a new homeowner. However, their information is incorrect and would only apply if I had bought the home after July 1, 2024. Additionally , the warranty on parts and compressor was only good for 5 years from 2016. If you want to spend hours on the phone, writing and answering emails, on websites, and throw your money away then this is the company for you.

Quick response and easy purchase

The application process is simple IF you are not annoyed by the numerous text and emails you receive once the information is obtained by Choice. I was able to review the policy online prior to purchase which was a huge positive for me. I was promised a call back by two different employees but neither followed through so I called the toll free number and talked to the first person to answer. I opted to pay monthly rather than purchasing an extended year plan.

Exclusions are not clear!

Had my pipes clogged in bathroom tech snaked it could not reach where bathroom sink and tub met had to go to exposed pipe less than 500 ft away and unscrew coupling and snaked which worked but because tech had to unscrew coupling and snack it was not covered

Bad Customer Service

I have been waiting for several weeks to hear something from Lowes, whom you said would be contacting me with a card for the purchase of a new washer based on the fact that mine was determined to be non-repairable. No feedback, no follow up, just nothing but a non functional washing machine.

Useless personal.

If you determine that this is not covered, please notify me before sending a request to the vendor. Otherwise, it may give the impression that Choice company is not managing contracts and vendor scheduling effectively. Basically, morons who send the vendor on not covered job, should be fired.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service ! Technicians provided to work on service repairs are subpar at best. Timeline to get things repaired are too long. It's been 3 1/2 weeks to get replacement of Refrigerator. I've been fighting with them to get someone out to repair stovetop for 10 months. Someone was sent out, did a diagosis. No follow up. I called multiple times to get it fixed and inquire of diagnosis. it was scheduled for repair, technician never showed up. I called to let them know. It was not beyond 30 days of the initial claim so they closed the claim. Paid $100 for diagnosis no repair 10 months later still having issues with stovetop. CHW is a joke.
