Sara table & Athena chairs - great!
We recently took delivery of a Sara 1m diameter wide oak table and 2 Athena chairs. All items are well made and look great. The chairs are in stone (a light grey) and were easy to assemble.
The table was a little more difficult to build as the lettering and numbers, mentioned in the instructions for the legs, were missing. The construction is simple enough so we quickly worked out what went where
The only complaint is regarding the cardboard packaging. The items were securely packaged but the cardboard smelled as though it had been left outside during muck spreading on a farm!
Overall, we are very pleased with the quality and looks of the furniture, which was delivered undamaged and on time by AIT

Delivered with broken parts
Nice piece of furniture, however, despite being very well wrapped, it was delivered with a broken door catch, and missing screws on a door hinge which meant the door didn't hang properly. Although a new door opener was posted to me I had to find someone to fit this for me as i didn't have the tools, so it was a bit disappointing.

For future reference, should this ever happen again, the catch is straightforward to refit at home using just a small cross-head screwdriver and 4 screws. We're glad we were able to get a replacement out to you quickly, and we hope you're now enjoying your furniture!

This company is special. I received my table, and it was gorgeous. I was t expecting it to be different shades of the wood grain but after 24 hours I just fell in love with it. The company offered to change it and even showed me pictures of others if u wanted to exchange but u chose not to. Will definitely be purchasing from coku again.

Looks lovely but quality is really poor
The table we ordered was meant to be delivered within 2 weeks. 8 weeks later no sign. Rang up and they offered a much cheaper option and when my wife said hell no lets get a refund. We got upgraded to the Thor table which was lovely. I then inquired about the tv unit asked was it in stock. He said yes got both delivered the same day. Delivery guys were rude. Wouldn't put the table or tv unit in the rooms I wanted or needed. Fast forward 6 months. The table looks lovely but the farnish is really poor. Its not sealed and is super easy to stain. I had to get someone in to seal it properly. The tv unit. Both doors closers are broke and both hinges are bent. The doors are to heavy for the hinges. The table and tv unit look lovely but the quality is so poor

Firstly, I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with parts of your experience. I have tried to locate your order from the details on the review, however I haven’t been able to identify it, so please could you reach out to us directly with your order number so we can look into this properly for you.
In terms of the tabletop finish, the items are fully sealed and protected. That said, like most solid wood furniture, stains can still occur if spillages or marks are left sitting on the surface for extended periods of time.
Regarding the TV unit, the push-open door closers and hinges are both replaceable parts, and we would be more than happy to send replacement mechanisms and hinges out to you if needed.

Great Quality, Easy Assembly
I got two cupboards from coku on two separate occeasions. Great quality every time and easy to put together, as you just have to screw in the legs, which is rare nowadays.

Good service, poor aftercare
Designs are great and initial customer service is commendable and personable.
However I bought a large piece of furniture that should be rock solid but had a clear quality Issue that caused it to break after a short time.
The response from the company was poor, Instantly dismissive and decided to reject repairs request and instead wants me to carry out what are significant repairs.
Im not too interested in the reason but I do wish to leave this review that they have an extremely strict returns policy. So if you happen to get a delayed defective product. You will be out of pocket

Thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear you were happy with the design and our initial service.
We do, however, need to clarify the situation regarding your claim. The unit was purchased last year, and based on the photos and video provided, the damage is not consistent with a manufacturing fault. The point of failure runs through the panel itself rather than at a joint or fixing, and the evidence shows it has been subjected to extreme force rather than failing through normal use. This is also the first instance of this type of issue across the many units we’ve sold in this range over several years.
As a business, we absolutely stand behind our products. If there is a genuine manufacturing fault, we will always repair or replace under warranty without hesitation. In this case, the damage has been assessed as user-caused, which unfortunately falls outside of warranty cover.
We appreciate this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, but we have been consistent and transparent in our assessment based on the evidence provided.

All items really well packaged and delighted with my dining table and chairs …unfortunately the base of the table arrived damaged but an email to COKU was quickly replied to and a replacement base was immediately dispatched and damaged one collected… all in all a very good experience and a lovely dining set.
