Poor communication
Unfortunately, my order was never delivered. The courier said part of it had not been received from the retailer, while Crampton & Moore maintained that both items had been dispatched together. I was repeatedly told they were asking the courier to search for the goods, but I received no clear explanation or revised delivery date.
When I asked to cancel, I was initially told they could do so but would need to wait for the courier to complete its search. I had to email again to point out that they were welcome to continue investigating with their delivery company, but that my cancellation and refund should not be delayed while they did so. The refund was then issued.

Unfortunately, whilst an investigation is being carried out with the courier, we do need to allow the investigation to be completed and ensure that the goods are not subsequently delivered before a refund can be processed. However, we appreciate that this should have been explained to you clearly at the time.
We also acknowledge that you should have received regular updates throughout the investigation, rather than having to contact us for further information. We apologise for this and for the inconvenience it caused.
We are pleased that the refund was ultimately processed, and we will take your feedback on board to ensure we communicate more clearly and keep customers better informed during courier investigations in the future.

Abysmal customer service
I don’t like 1 star reviews but I can’t leave anything else, nothing has been good about my experience with Crampton and Moore. I ordered a tumble dryer on Wednesday 9/9, for delivery Friday 11/9. Order didn’t arrive. Called them on the Friday and turns out they, ie arrow xl, hadn’t collected from AEG. They will call me Monday with an update and book in a delivery day. Monday came and went with nothing. Called and emailed again Tuesday. No response to phone calls, line rang out 5 times! Eventually got a response on email, said “we was expecting arrow to uplift the dryer yesterday, they will be in touch”. So can’t you chase them to find out? Given I bought it from you, not arrow! Anyway, still no contact from them or C&M, cancellation email sent yesterday morning, no response to that either. After reading reviews, very surprised there’s not more negative!

You placed your order with us expecting your tumble dryer to be delivered on Friday 11/9, and we clearly fell short of that expectation. While the delay involved the collection and delivery arrangements with Arrow XL and AEG, we recognise that you purchased the appliance from Crampton & Moore, so it was our responsibility to keep you informed and make sure the issue was properly followed up.
We’re particularly sorry that you struggled to get through to us and that your calls and emails were not responded to as promptly as they should have been. We also apologise for the lack of communication regarding your cancellation request.
This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and your feedback has been passed to the relevant teams so we can review what happened and improve how these situations are handled.

Nothing bad noted on the company…
Nothing bad noted on the company itself, however the delivery courier they use, arrow xl were absolutely useless.
Two failed delivery attempts, two days of holiday wasted and no explanation, I was home all day both days, no contact, nothing so I cancelled the order.
