What a terrible site in terms of any option to contact them and expect a response. I'm admittedly only on my second attempt in a few weeks, but that just isn't good enough for a tech company and doesn't square with supposedly positive experience on their site. Mine have been the opposite so far. I can't see their battery for my laptop, although I did think I'd found the model initially. I need help and I'm just not getting anything from them.

Website is defective.
Used to ge very good, now I cannot even see a British website, but every other coutry website I wish that I can access.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this brand. I ordered a battery for my laptop, but it was faulty. At first, customer service was responsive with the return request, but the problems started when they sent me the return label. They told me to drop off the parcel at a store really far from my house - about an hour away. When I emailed them to check if there was a closer store, they didn't reply (it's been two weeks since this). Eventually I had no choice but to drop off the parcel. It's been 10 days since then, and nothing yet. They told me they would refund me when they received the parcel, and it seems to me the parcel should have already arrived given that it took 2 days for it to be delivered to me. I have sent 3 emails to them so far and no response.

At first the experience was good, ordering and delivery fine. It turns out I need to return the laptop battery I ordered. I couldn't start the return on line, so I e-mailed, their return number came back within 10 minutes of first emailing. Trouble started when I tried to get a courier to carry the battery. I have e-mailed support three times, and received a very delayed response when asking how I can return, and if I pay them for the carriage will they arrange the collection for me. Ordering over the internet has consumer rights for cancellation and return, but these have you not being able to exercise this right as it's impossible to return the battery as a non business due to ADR/dangerous goods.
So essentially, there is no returns policy unless, I guess, unless you can deliver by hand.
Poor experience, do not use unless you want to keep the item and forget about your UK consumer rights!
They then helped with the return.
Battery returned, and delivered to them. I have requested an update on my refund THREE times with no response. This is not a pleasant experience, and the response times is terrible, if at all.

I had a query about solar panel batteries so I called Duracell and spoke with Theo and he couldn't have been more helpful. Explained everything in a way that I'd understand (I know zero about this kind of thing) and followed it all up with an email. Really impressed, not often you get service like this these days.

A great company to deal with. Brilliant service and good prices. They are always my first port of call for batteries. Can't praise them highly enough.

Item just left in street in plain sight at 9pm by Evri was there all night as it was delivered to my work address, Added to list of suppliers I wont be using again because they use Evri.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the quality of products and customer service at Duracell Direct.

In April 2025, I purchased a replacement MacBook battery (Part: CBP3840A) for £91.20, expecting a premium product that would last. Unfortunately, the battery has already degraded to 77% health in just 14 months. For comparison, the original factory battery lasted over three years.

When I contacted customer service (Order DUR2142179) to request a resolution under the Consumer Rights Act as a premium battery should last longer than 14 months. I was told that because it was outside the 1-year warranty, they would not offer a replacement or a refund. The only solution offered was a small discount on a new purchase.

I expected much better durability from a brand like Duracell and a more reasonable approach to customer support when a product fails prematurely. I would advise other customers to look elsewhere for more reliable components and better after-sales support.

Absolutely useless - no communication, no product delivered. They use a crap courier (Evri) and only refund after multiple attempts to contact. Seems like a scam.

Ordered two batteries online for my camera and no mention they were out of stock. A week later I chased it up wondering where my order was and someone emailed me to say they are out of stock and will be available later in the week. Today i received an out of stock email, but this came far too late and was only provided because I enquired about it. I was ignored when replying about my fustration and upset that I required the items that week. Very poor service because i was not informed they were out of stock till a week after placing the order, and thats only because I emailed to chase it up. then they send me an out of stock email. My first order was great but this experience has let it down. so dissapointed.

Excellent replacement for Dell Vostro 15 7510 - Handles high demand!

I received my replacement battery for my Dell Vostro 15 7510 today and it’s performing brilliantly. Since this is a high-performance laptop, I was looking for a battery that could keep up with the power demand, and this one delivers. It’s charging very fast and feels like a high-quality product.

I bought a replacement battery for my aging laptop. It arrived promptly, but when fitted and charged, it reported that it needed calibration. I followed the guidance provided by the battery manufacturer, and also found advice on Google, but nothing fixed it. Frustrated, as experience of previous battery swaps with other laptops had been painless, I contacted Duracell Direct and spoke to Angela, who gave me guidance in precisely how to calibrate, and then also advice on how to prevent battery draining. Her attitude and advice were exemplary and I would certainly recommend this company. Well done Angela!

Needed a replacement battery for my Hero 8, which are no longer available from Gopro.

Bought a replacement from Duracell Direct.
Arrived nice and quick, perfect fit in the camera, no charging issues and despite not using the GoPro for a couple of months. Didn't lose any charge.

Can't fault them.... From the first point of contact, the website, to the phone support then the final deliver- absolutely excellent! RAPID, POLITE, HELPFUL, GENUINE.....
If you do a comparison to the likes of Energy Stox which do more advertising (avoid at all costs) - the difference is infinite! They promise cheaper prices but do they deliver.... AVOID.

Puzzling experience here, first time buyer and item was shipped, only to be lost by Evri. A few days later they messaged saying they would send another one by DHL. 5 days later nothing arrived. I would think twice about buying from these lot as one lost order is acceptable but something suspicious when a second never arrives.

I purchased a camera battery from the Duracell Direct website in March 2025, assigned the part number DUR2135492.

In October, I experienced problems with it unexpectedly and without knowing why. I contacted customer support via email and never received a response. I sent another email and again received no reply.

I decided to call the number on the invoice, and a very polite Spanish gentleman answered, saying they would send a new battery within a week.

This battery was never sent, nor was any further explanation given. I feel completely cheated by this service and this brand. The customer support service is not only terrible but also deceptive and malicious.

I will never buy Duracell again.

DuracellDirect powered by PSA Parts Ltd - good experience again - ordered a variety of smaller batteries for car keyfobs, watches etc. Ordered them Sunday, arrived Wednesday morning. Order was correct and complete.

Bought a Power inverter, stopped working after a week due to overheating, spoke with customer services team who replied fast and sent a new one out no questions asked.
