I place regular orders with Eversfield Organic as the produce is of high quality at extremely competitive prices.
This time round my order was to be delivered by Royal Mail Parcel Force on a Friday. They failed to do so and sent an email saying they attempted delivery but couldn't deliver as no one was in.I was in all day ,plus have 24/7 conceigre ,so a complete fabrication. Next delivery was to be the following Monday which was naturally not acceptable for a meat order .
Just before 5 pm I got hold of the very helpful and efficient Fran from Eversfield's customer service who said she would chase up Parcelforce .They then promised her they would deliver before 7pm .When this did not happen Fran without further ado organised a completely fresh order to be delivered by DPD .
This is what I call "old school "customer service. When you call ,a human being answers straight away and then sorts out your issue in a friendly, and effective way.
Well done Eversfield for your quality produce, super competitive prices and the wonderful customer service.I remain a very happy repeat customer and highly recommend your company.

I ordered from Eversfield some years ago, but in January 2024, I decided to switch permanently to Organic meat. Their produce has been consistently excellent, their meat is always tender, including the chicken and turkey breast, and great value. Look out for the special offers! I’m looking forward to my next delivery.
The animal welfare and feed is well described e.g. roaming free and grass fed is well beyond grain fed. The meat freezes well and it is affordable to buy the maximum for free delivery. You just need to be careful to read whether it’s been previously frozen, which is understandable for meat such as venison or turkey, good to use within a few days of delivery.
Fantastic customer service which is highly important and the backbone of any worthy business. I have only ever had 3 issues, but dealt with swiftly and promptly, with just a little explaining on my part. 
The DPD deliveries are always informative and I just make sure I diary the day I have requested the delivery and look out for it. If you live in a remote area, try What3Words.

Disgusting company avoid.
Disgusting company avoid.
Once they have your money they have no interest when things go wrong or will take any responsibility.
Told me it's safe for us to eat meat that's been left outside in 32c heat.
Sent proof that DPD emailed used saying the order had been cancelled and they have haven't received anything from eversfield organic. A company they choose to use to deliver.
So told them I wasn't expecting delivery and had found the boxes of meat left out in sun. But DPd hadn't knocked or rang. Just dumped and ran, Or sent us any update email to make use aware the food had been left outside, last time we heard anything from DPD was it's been cancelled. And even with proof I have sent them. eversfield organic will not take any responsibility and won't sent out replacement.

I’m very sorry to hear about your recent experience and the frustration this has caused you. We always want our customers to receive their orders in perfect condition and on time, so I completely understand how upsetting it must have been to find your delivery in this way.
I can confirm that your order was dispatched on time and tracked through our delivery partner, DPD. According to our records — and the proof already shared with you — DPD did send you an email confirming the delivery time. They also recorded the parcel as being delivered to your front door as per their procedure, together with a photo. I appreciate that the communication you received may have caused confusion from DPD, and I’m sorry that this wasn’t clarified with us sooner so we could have explained the situation and advised you accordingly.
All of our parcels are packed to remain safe and chilled for a full 48-hour delivery window, and we regularly deliver to the Highlands of Scotland on a two-day service without issue. We have also been adding extra ice packs due to the current weather conditions. Based on the delivery timeline, it was delivered in the correct time frame, even if it was collected the following day.
I understand that this situation has been disappointing and has impacted your trust in us, which is never what we want. While we are unable to offer a replacement on this occasion, your feedback has been taken on board and will be shared with both our team and DPD to help improve communication in future.

Poor quality service - Logistics Failure
There has not been any attempt to deliver the parcel to my home, the delivery address.
I have phoned you on 2 occasions today (1307 and 1334) to see if they could bring the order today. The single option, go collect from a yet to be decided post office, you have offered is not acceptable. I would recommend you stick to DPD for your deliveries.
It is the second poor quality experience in 6 months. Perhaps it is time to stick to the local butchers in the local markets.

As there was no suitable safe location to leave the parcel, the driver followed procedure and took it back to the local post office for collection.
We investigated this thoroughly and provided you with the GPS location confirming that the delivery driver was indeed at your property. According to your last email, you have since safely collected the parcel from the post office.

Excellent customer service – resolved issue quickly and professionally
We recently ordered a box of premium organic meat and while the first delivery arrived delayed with the contents at an unsafe temperature (14°C), we contacted the team immediately with our concerns.
To their credit, they responded quickly and replaced the entire order at no extra charge, ensuring the second box arrived in excellent condition. Mistakes can happen, especially with chilled deliveries, but what really stood out was their commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.
The replacement meat was top quality — beautifully packed and fresh. We really appreciate how the team handled our complaint: professional, responsive, and willing to make things right without hassle.

The sausages are inedible, there's so much salt in them. And I'm someone who likes his food quite salty. The whole family couldn't eat them. Avoid the sausages!!

A very good company
A very good company, helpful and friendly.
I wanted nitrate free smoked bacon which was unavailable. Having spoke to Francesca she recommended nitrate free rib eye smoked bacon. I can honestly say that it was tender and full of flavour. It will now be my bacon of choice.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Just like to say I’m completely disappointed with the bones- I bought better from scrappy Asda joints and boiled down. I was hoping to do x 3 amount of stock with these but there too poor a quality to even do one session with them let alone 3.
My nutrition health is very important to me and having good quality to boil down to produce gelatine & collagen. After 48 hrs no gelatine was produced which shows the quality of the bones. I’ve been boiling down now for years. I was doing it before it become popular. At the amount you charge; and the quality what you give is shocking.
I bought £38 of bones that was poor quality.
Contacted the company and all I got back was we will ID the bones?
I am severally ill and disabled and rely on the finances and quality of nutrition to try to help my physical condition. Customer services was useless- they didn’t except back the remaining bones, offer to reverse nothing.
Don’t by bone here for bone broth. I call it organic bottom of barrel.
I’ve had better bone from market traders ‘ for my dog’.

The freezer pouches can also be reused or recycled at soft plastics collection points and the gel inside is fully biodegradable.

Not that great
Not that great, used to be much better. The meat has started arriving chilled instead of frozen. I’m sure it used to arrive frozen but I could be wrong, but either way it used to last longer before going off. Now it only lasts a day in the fridge before it starts tasting bad. It arrives, I freeze it straight away, then when I want to cook it I thaw for a day in the fridge to cook the next day. You can’t leave it in the fridge any longer which doesn’t make sense. Most of the vacuum-sealed bags have also been arriving inflated recently which indicates the plastic has been damaged or not sealed properly, so this could be reducing its shelf life. The minced beef also has a few bits of bone in. I have been a customer for a few years but I’m changing my supplier now.

Delivery did not arrive
Chose my preferred date 16.04 did not receive a delivery did not receive a response email. No way to contact business closed til Tuesday.
I won’t be ordering from then again it’s about trust I paid in good faith but no delivery.
If eversfield don’t respect my hard earned money then they don’t deserve my business.
I’ll support another British business instead.
Having downloaded the shop app it just says preparing. Nothing more. I want my money back. Very poor.
This is not a delivery issue my order never left.

Poor customer service
I ordered some oxtail and requested in the order notes for it to be cut into smaller pieces. The order arrived and was not cut up smaller. I emailed them, no response. I called them and they informed me that they are unable to cut up the meat smaller. Instead of letting me know this when I made the order I had to call them to find out once the order was recieved. Why have an option for order notes if you can't follow simple requests in the order note?
Nevertheless, the oxtail was good but I won't be ordering from here again.

+ It is very high quality produce unfortunately let down by poor administration.
-- The order dispatched on 24th March 2025 and arrived via DPD on the 25th March. The packing was unsuitable for the fresh meat and had partly melted resulting in a temperature of 13.5C in the box. The correct temperature should not exceed 8C and i was unable to use due to fears of food poisoning.
They also had not put my street number on the package but the quick thinking DPD sorted it quickly

We take food safety and delivery standards extremely seriously, and I completely understand your concerns regarding the temperature of your parcel. Our packaging is designed to keep the contents between 4–6°C for up to 48 hours using lamb’s wool insulation and ice packs. However, if your parcel reached 13.5°C on arrival, that does fall outside of our standards, and I sincerely apologise.
I’m also sorry about the incomplete address, this must have happened at checkout — I’m glad DPD was able to resolve it.

We received the parcel on time as…
We received the parcel on time as indicated in the order (5-6 days delivery time). I was home to receive it and had planned to cook most of it. I am extremely disappointed and sorry to say all of the meat was drenched in blood and stinking rotten beyond measure. The parcel was not in a thermocol box and the meat was loosely boxed. I checked about the delivery and it seems it takes 3-5 days for delivery. I was looking for long term healthy organic pasture raised poultry and meat supplier but are completely taken aback from the experience. Frankly, I had to completely bin all the items (Attaching a picture of the same). I recommend to buy pasture raised meat from local shops like tesco, etc. This is not healthy and there should be strict inspection of food before it is sent for human consumption. My entire house is stinking and we have lost all our appetite.
