I had such a great experience with Flying Medicine and wanted to say a big thank you. Sarah was incredibly helpful with everything — especially with my paperwork, which was very last minute on the day. She directed me on exactly what to do and made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. When I arrived, she also helped me find the place, which I really appreciated.

Dr Nomy Ahmed was also amazing. He was so kind, professional, and welcoming from the start. He made an effort to have a proper conversation with me, which really helped calm my nerves. He explained everything clearly, didn’t rush anything, and made sure I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the whole appointment. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does.

Both of them made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free.

I would definitely recommend Flying Medicine. They’re both genuinely lovely people who do an amazing job.

From start to finish the customer service was excellent, booking online for my EASA AME was simple, staff very friendly and welcoming Dr was very welcoming, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend this practice.

Please do not use these, plenty of others on a quick Google search. the so called doctor, is he a doctor? or just a just an internet fraud. I cannot make up my mind. My Daughter went to see him for a cabin crew medical. What a joke. She spent no longer than 3 minutes with him for him to say that because she has had a history, albiet as a kid, with Petit Mal and because she is still on medication cannot fly as a cabin crew member in Europe. When speaking to the receptionist she told me she did not even have the medical, because there was no point, but he still charged her £199 for the 3 minutes. No remorse, just take the money. She even sent him an email 24hours before her appointment telling him that she had Petit Mal as a kid. Now I have tried numerous times in the last week to speak to him, at first for some advice on what her next move would be, but because he will not even speak to me, I am now after a refund. He just hides behind his reception staff, totally spineless.
So please please try someone else, this guy is just not worth it, would go as far as to say a scam!!!
I am sure he will try to come up with something on a reply to this, do not bother reading it, just move on to someone else, this guy is just after your money......

Addendum: I see that despite claiming to be a doctor you can't distinguish between a warning and a threat.

I feel completely scammed by the clinic and in particular the doctor. 500 pounds for an initial test, not bad... A lot of unexpected expenses.

Now that I have more time and have seen the clinic's response, I would like to expand on my answer. The attention of the lady at the reception is excellent, probably the most efficient you will find. On the other hand, the doctor is rude and unprofessional. I tried to argue with him that I had received a charge that did not correspond and he does not know how to argue. He doesn't know how to talk and he doesn't know how to listen, so it was impossible to make him see reason. It gives me an idea of the level, but I feel very sorry that he cheates his clients. For example, his initial response implies that I did 2 initial tests. False. It is the same medical test for EASA and UK. If you hide everything in the same way, this is the result: I remain convinced of your lack of professionalism and I will try to stop you from deceiving more clients.

As I commence legal proceedings against Dr. Ahmed Nomy as an AME for his deliberate concealment of additional charges and dissemination of false reports and communications for financial gain.
This is my sincere experience, and I am writing to share my feedback with anyone who believes that this is a decent place to obtain the CAA Medical Certificate from him.
I booked a medical examination with them for November 6, 2023, after completing all the assessments for Class 2 Medical Certificate.
Prior to my appointment, I completed the visual test as required by the CAA and sent it to him via email.
During the medical examination, he determined that I had hypotension that required attention. I agreed to visit the GP for further evaluation; however, he proceeded to perform an electrocardiogram (ECG) without informing me that it would cost an additional £99 which I paid on that day on top of the £249 I had paid him at the time of booking.
His ECG concluded that he wanted 24-hour blood pressure monitoring for £99 from Vista Health Patient Referral Centre and echocardiography for £159 based on his ECG test.
Both have been completed and paid for; my echocardiogram is completely normal and clear of any issues; and my blood pressure is 142/94 mmHg, which is a bit higher than the UK CAA and NICE guidelines of 135/85.
I went to my GP as instructed to obtain medication to reduce my blood pressure.
The GP prescribed the minimum dosage which reduced my blood pressure to average 125/75.
When I emailed Dr. Ahmed Nomy yesterday as to what else was required to get the medical certificate, he responded as follows:
((((( Once 2 weeks have elapsed taking this medication please review the attached hypertension report format and get your treating doctor to complete and send it back to me. )))))
I replied him that the link sent is a CAA subheadings which are for guidance purposes only and if he can be kind enough to explain what exactly still missing and required to be provided by my GP,
He replies:
((((( your GP so they can complete as many of the requirements as possible as it is a UK CAA directive not mine.)))))
Therefore, I reposed the same inquiry in an attempt to convey the precise request to my GP.
Dr. Ahmed Nomy replies instead of letting me know what is need:
((((( I am not sure your emails are meant to be rude AND ...If you are unwilling to complete the requirements or pay for our service which are freely visible on the website I would suggest you find another AME to take over your case.)))))
So I decided to visit another CAA AME because I had given up and was tired after wasting 35 days and more than £600 with no proper guidance and future clarity, I emailed Dr. Ahmed Nomy that I would give my honest feedback and that I would notify the CAA to take appropriate action.
Today,he replies
((((( We shall therefore remove you from our list and kindly request that no further emails or communication with us.
We reserve the right to take legal and or financial redress should there be any further inappropriate or unprofessional remarks, including reputational damage to us or the business.)))))

To divert his wrongdoing, he falsely accusing me of threatening his staff, I challenge him with any avedances he have..

I’ve been seeing Dr Nomy Ahmed for my ATPL Class one medicals for about 5 years and it’s always a pleasure.
Flying Medicine have very user friendly booking system and they then send out clear instructions and the necessary forms to complete.
The Watford clinic is excellent with friendly staff, and a pleasant waiting area. Its also easy to find, with parking or 100m from Watford High St Overground station.
My medicals have always been conducted in a friendly and professional manner. No “white coat syndrome here” The equipment is also to a high standard.
I’m a retired airline pilot and still work as a Simulator TRI/TRE for two major airlines.
I frequently recommend this company to my trainees if the subject of AME’s comes up.

I’m from the EU, not from the UK, I had to change AMEs because I ran into a bit of a problem with the one I went to in my country. Dr. Nomy Ahmed was extremely helpful from the very beginning, he always responded quickly to all my emails and answered my questions, he even called me back personally once. He successfully solved the issue that no one from my country was willing to help me with, for which I am infinitely grateful.

For the past few years I’ve been to FlyingMedicine Ltd, I do my Class 1 medical. The last time that I went there just like before, it was an easy quick process. There was an issue with my CAA online portal, which Dr Nomy helped me with. Dr Nomy is a senior Aeromedical examiner for EASA and FAA. I would definitely recommend Dr Nomy.
