My insurance was up for renewal
My insurance was up for renewal, I was shopping around and found that Grove and Dean had better cover at half the price of the previous year.
On making contact I was informed that I had agreed with an on going insurance and it was too late because it had already been renewed at a £50 increase without my knowledge
Three days later I received the renewal confirmation via email and at the same time they took the money out of my bank.
So it hadn’t already been renewed and they could have changed it to the deal I had found on line.
I won’t be using you again and I will be seeking advice,

Our records show that your policy renewed automatically in line with the terms of the policy and the renewal communications issued. As advised in your renewal notice, the renewal premium was due to be collected 7 days before the renewal date, and the payment was taken in accordance with this schedule.
The premium reduced compared to the previous year's policy and the policy renewed at exactly the price detailed in the renewal documentation provided before renewal.
We understand that this experience has left you disappointed, particularly as you had found an alternative quote and were exploring other options. We appreciate how frustrating this situation can feel, and we are sorry that your expectations were not met.

Your man Joseph was excellent and explained all to me in fine detail. On top of that, he provided me with a policy that met all of the requirements at what I considered to be a favourable price. However, a friend of mine only pays a fraction of the price with SAGA, £280 a year for the very same car on a low-mileage classic car policy that I will change to next year.

Comprehensive insurance at a competitive price. However, takes too long to get through on the phone, hence 4 stars, although Customer services very helpful once you do get through.
