Deeply disappointed
Deeply disappointed. I don't know what's happened to Interflora? Used to be my go-to for all the flower essentials birthdays and celebratory events, however my latest order has left me deeply disappointed with interflora. Ordered a big ol bunch in a vase with the chocolates and balloons. Got the midday ETA. Arrived couple of hours late just the flowers, only half the order. Sent a photo through to Interflora with the receipt and got the reply "flower are in line with order" had to send three follow up emails to receive a refund for the missing items. Honestly better off going to the local florist, hell could have gotten better from Coles for 80 bucks. Seriously feeling ripped off. Won't be using them again. Order number 982611423

You are absolutely right that the chocolates and balloon you purchased were missing from the delivery. We also should have identified and addressed this when you first contacted us. Instead, our initial response focused on your concerns about the flowers, and you then had to follow up before the missing items were acknowledged and refunded. We can understand how frustrating that would have been, and we’re sorry we didn’t handle this properly from the outset.
We also appreciate that the floral arrangement you received did not meet your expectations based on the product you had selected. While your concerns about the flowers were reviewed at the time, our response focused on explaining the outcome of that review rather than recognising your disappointment with the overall gift and, importantly, completely overlooked the missing items.
This was a gift for a special occasion, and the complete gift you ordered simply wasn’t delivered. When you contacted us about your concerns, our response should have helped resolve the situation, not added to your frustration.
We’re particularly sorry to hear that this experience has changed your view of Interflora after choosing us for birthdays and celebrations in the past. We do value that history with us, and your feedback has been taken seriously, including the way your original complaint was handled.

What a rip off
I was totally shocked at the size of the bouquet, at nearly 200 aud it was so small I was ashamed I had sent it.
I chose the medium sized bouquet, I would describe the result as extra small
It was my daughter’s 50th, I have never spent this much in flowers ever.
I know they were natives but still!!!!

Sending flowers should be something you feel excited and proud about, so we completely understand how upsetting it must have been to see the bouquet and feel that its size did not reflect what you had spent. While native flowers can vary considerably in size, availability and individual stem value, we would still expect the finished arrangement to appropriately reflect the value and size selected.

Excellent Service
The ordering was easy and we were sending the flowers to our daughter in Australia from the UK. The flowers arrived as requested while we were talking to her on the phone (unplanned) but excellent timing. All in an excellent service, and the flowers were beautiful.

We ordered an arrangement of peonies and we received an arrangement of gerbras. The cost of a gerbra to the cost of a peony as you well know there’s BIG BIG difference. I was not aware that peonies were not in season and I’ll accept that. I feel that the florist should have substituted with a flower similar to the cost of a peony such as oriental lily or rose. There is no excuse as when filling the order, phone numbers were required so it does not take much in making the call
I feel for a company such as Interflora which has been around for many a year and has a reputatiion did not fulfill my expectations

Thank you for providing your order number, as this has allowed us to review exactly what was purchased, the photographs provided and our previous correspondence regarding your concerns.
We would like to clarify that the product ordered was a Florist Choice vase arrangement in neutral tones, rather than an arrangement of peonies. The example image displayed for this product does not feature peonies, nor does the product specify any particular flower variety.
With our Florist Choice range, the photograph shown online is an example of the intended style and colour palette, while the individual flower varieties are selected by the local florist using the best seasonal flowers available. For this reason, the use of gerberas was not a substitution for peonies and did not require approval before the arrangement was created.
We do, however, appreciate that the arrangement you received had a different overall appearance from the example that influenced your selection, particularly given that you chose the premium size. This was acknowledged when we reviewed the photographs you supplied, and we do understand why you were disappointed with the finished presentation.
We are sorry that the arrangement did not meet your expectations. We do, however, hope this clarification explains why we were unable to agree with the suggestion in your review that an arrangement of peonies had been ordered and subsequently substituted with gerberas, as this was not the case.
No arranging required on delivery
I wanted to comfort friends who had just lost their mum. And struggled to find a florist who provided something suitable and professionally arranged. Most offered boxed flowers and a mason jar/vase requiring the recipient to trim and arrange themselves- not appropriate, in my view, to gift someone who is grieving and navigating such loss. So thank you Interflora!

Total disaster
Total disaster. Wrong delivery address on the confirmation order. It was corrected and email correspondence confirmed the actual, required delivery address. Made absolutly no difference as an attempt was made to deliver the flowers to the wrong address. This was meant to be an Anniversary suprise gift for my wife and the effort fell absolutly flat. They have agreed to a full credit for the attempted purchase. Also don't ever try and contact them through the Customer Support link on their web page - they don't respond You have to contact them through the Update Delivery Instruction link if you want a response. Not impressed 😕 😒

An anniversary surprise should end with flowers at the right door — not an attempted delivery to an address you had already taken the time to correct. We’re genuinely sorry we got this one wrong.
You did exactly what we would have asked you to do: you spotted the incorrect address, contacted us, had the correct address confirmed in writing and reasonably expected that information to follow through to delivery. The fact that it didn’t is something we need to understand and address.
While we’re pleased a full refund has been arranged, we recognise that doesn’t give you back the anniversary surprise you had planned for your wife.
We’re also concerned by your comments about the customer service email address and the difference in response when using the update delivery option. That feedback is particularly useful and something we will be looking into. The response time should be the same.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us what happened, even though we wish we had given you a very different experience to write about.
