Worst insurance experience. Don’t waste your money on this insurance. I went to CityMD Urgent Care in Raritan after being told my visit was covered under my ISO insurance plan. When I submitted the claim, they refused to pay and told me I had to pay the full $250 because of a $400 deductible.

Why wasn’t this clearly mentioned on the portal? Saying a visit is “covered” is completely misleading if you still have to pay the entire bill. I only went for a headache and fever, and nothing was covered. Very poor transparency and a terrible experience.

The customer service was wonderful. My problem was solved within 30 minutes. They contacted my school and sent back the new documents right away which I truly appreciated.

The plan appeared affordable at first, but I later discovered that I had to pay a large deductible (around $400) before many benefits would apply. This information was technically included, but it was not presented clearly enough for students who may not be familiar with U.S. health insurance.

Another issue is that getting a doctor’s appointment can take weeks or even months. If you only need coverage for a short period, you may end up paying for insurance without being able to use it effectively.

I feel the company should do a much better job explaining out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, and how the coverage actually works before students purchase a plan. Transparency is very important, especially for international students who are already trying to manage limited budgets.”

This version sounds more credible and is more likely to be taken seriously by other students reading reviews.
