If there were a rating for 0 stars, I certainly would choose that. So since last year November roughly I started experiencing little problems with loot such as error messages whilst trying to log in. That would then escalate to my account being put on pause for no apparent reason. I had then began to message loot to get to the bottom of it and each “customer service” agent within the app chat would tell me my account is on pause for “review”. At this stage all I was thinking was why in the hell they are reviewing my account? Id question them, searching for an explanation or anything for piece of mind and would get absolutely nothing in return. I had left it a couple of weeks, then went back to message them a number of times day after day, as my frustrations grew on the fact that they were keeping me out the loop from what’s going on with MY account. They then began to ignore my messages and complaints which is absolutely shameful for a company where customer service should be a major part of your organisations ethos. As I knew it would get to a point where I can’t access my account at all to even speak with them I have taken screenshots of every conversation and each message/complaint ignored. For starters it baffles me how you can attempt to run customer service by online chat form without a telephone number for customers to call. Very strange for a bank or equivalent. Since December/ start of January I haven’t attempted to contact them since as I know it’s pointless. At the start of March I had funds transferred into the account from somebody who was unaware of my troubles with Loot and subsequently these funds seem now lost. This is because it did not bounce back into their account and I still do not have access to my account to neither retrieve it or address my concerns with loot. On that note if this trustpilot isn’t seen and dealt with by Loot I will go through with legal procedures. In future I’d advise AGAINST ever setting up an account with loot. They are not at all serious! It’s crazy because I had friends having their troubles with Loot but at that stage because they were completely fine with me I ignored the signs.

There has been an issue the deposit of adding money into the account and outbound payment which is very a huge problem but at everything thing else is looking great
Also, I would like if Loot started to do cash deposit like through Post office or PayPoint as this would be very helpful

Stay away from this garbage they pause my account when I received £1000 from my friend for my iPhone xs max which i sold to him once money is landed in my account they put block on my account even I provide all the necessary information they asked for like screen shots of my friends bank account and phone reicept but still my account is freeze

I’m a student and I put my money away on a loot account all of a sudden I can’t access it because of some pause and I haven’t received my money back this is really upsetting.

Terrible service
I had opened an account with them last year in September time, and I tried to reopen an account with them again. They wouldn't let me open an account. The person was very rude and didn't even give me an option to reopen the same account or a different one.
I just found their live chat disgusting and not even helpful

Loot are still ignoring me after pausing my account for no reason what so ever they have revived my work wages and are telling me the money was paid sent back to my employer but that's a lie I feel like loot is a scam that keeps people's money before this whole situation they would reply instantly now I have to send email after email to get a 2sentance reply with no solution I am. Going to have to take the matter further and go to the police and report them as a defrauding company and I am not the only one with this situation as I've read other reviews there hold 100s of people's money for no reason

Loot is probably the worst and I don’t advise anyone on using it, they’ve held my girlfriends account on pause for weeks where she’s got her money locked up, not taking into consideration that she’s a student. And the crazy part is we’ve sent loads of emails and messages but no one seems to reply. I mean that’s not right to keep someone’s money for soo long.

Everything was working fine until i decided to trasnfer my money to #lootGoals and when i reached my goal i tried to withdraw and it keep saying erro 44411 i've messaged countless times either no replay or just a we will look into it. I have been waiting for a reply about 2 months now and nothing

I still haven’t received my bank card and it’s been two weeks

When I have asked Loot to return my money they did well in only less than a week its came back.

Quite a lot of unusual questions asked on signing up that were in addition to the usual identity questions which made me think this was a scam, but does not seem to be. They currently have a delay with issuing cards but seeing as the account is so basic there are much better alternatives out there such as Monzo and Starling which are full feature accounts. Probably will not use this account until they have added all the usual banking features.

Love it !! Nothing bad to to say. Quick replies on the chat feature and feels like your talking to a friend rather than just a random person working for loot. Also good that it’s being improved constantly (faster payments etc.) Keep it up guys.
