Please be careful with this Morphy Richards Slow Cooker 3.5 Litre 48709 Brushed Steel (with glass lid). It had only been used on 6 occasions. I was cooking a casserole on low and after 2 hours the slow cooker overheated and the glass lid shattered/exploded. Thankfully nobody was hurt but decent meat and vegetables could not be used (as full of glass). I have taken this up with Morphy Richards and they are not interested in refunding or even apologising. I have since read reviews that this has happened to others too. It’s shocked us that this has happened and also shocked us that Morphy Richards do not care.

I’ve had a Morphy Richards power steam elite iron for some while. The iron itself is very good but it has one major flaw that I must warn you about. The iron automatically cleans itself when it has been used for a set amount of time. When this is complete you must leave the iron for at least 40 mins before attempting to use it. The iron remains very hot and the water container is full of hot liquid. I was going away on holiday that evening and needed to iron my clothes quickly. I didn’t leave the iron long enough and badly burned my hand just before I was due to leave for the airport. Please be very careful with this iron even if you are in a rush. It would also be great if Morphy Richards took away the auto clean function and allowed users to decide when to clean the iron.

We had lost the operating instructions for a bread maker which was at least 10 years old. Morphy Richards sent us a copy of the manual immediately.

Iron stopped working. Emailed customer support as it was still in warranty. Quick response. They wanted a comprehensive but reasonable amount of evidence of purchase, photos, troubleshooting but quickly sent a replacement iron which arrived very promptly. Would definitely buy another product knowing this level of customer service is available.

Bought a slow cooker on Amazon. It’s advertised as having a pan that can be used on an electric hob to sauté foods before putting in the slow cooker machine. First time I used the product I noticed staining on my kitchen hob and part of the coating on the bottom of the pan had worn off (presumably onto my now stained hob). I contacted Morphy Richards directly (with contact details obtained through the seller information on Amazon). Their customer support team told me to return the item directly to them and sent me details to do so through DPD. DPD appear to have lost/stolen this item as the tracking number does not work. I asked Morphy Richards if, nevertheless, they would be giving me a refund of the item as their courier has lost it. Their customer support team then told me that I should have returned the item through Amazon in the first place. They told me this the day after the Amazon returns window had expired and, in any event, I no longer have the item as it has been lost by their courier. I am hugely disappointed with how I have been treated in these interactions after having received a faulty or mis-advertised product. I think it’s also salient that Morphy Richards was the seller on Amazon and so I don’t think it was a huge stretch for me to think that by sending the product directly back to them then they would provide me with a refund!

I bought a Morphy Richards kettle and toaster in November, the following MAy a crack appeared on the ring section of the lid and then a few weeks later in came off completely. We tried to fix it but it just kept breaking. I contacted Morphy Richards via their website and they replied the following day, after sendng an explanation, photos and proff of purchase they agreed to send me a new kettle - this was all sored within a couple of days, The person i dealt with (Sam) was really great, I was really impressed!

I judge companies by their after sales help. I had an issue and they had zero quibble, in sorting it, were communicative and didn't let me down. I know I wouldn't get this with other brands. They have earned my loyalty. Bravo

Our 5 month old Tazza coffee machine had been working perfectly, then one morning decided to empty the water tank over the counter top as soon as it was filled.
Contacting Morphy Richards via the online chat facility, we were soon in contact with Jessica who requested some information to assist in the warranty claim, she also sent the requirements via email. After sending the requested images (Front with code and date), data plate (with code and date) and evince of cutting off the power cable, she notified us that a replacement machine had been requested for despatch. This whole process to no more than 10 minutes.
Very quickly we received an email stating that the replacement was to be despatched via a courier and would arrive soon.
Overall this has been a thoroughly positive experience: no one likes it when appliances break down, but the efficiency with which the matter was handled made it stressless.
Well done and many thanks to the customer service team, especially Jessica.

Contacted customer service. Although they couldn't provide the part I needed for a discontinued product, the agent very helpfully provided advice and emailed a list of websites which allowed me to easily find and order the part.

MAYBE ITS TIME YOU CHANGED YOUR ' STANDARD RETURNS POLICY' THEN AS I SEE ON HERE I AM NOT ONLY ONE COMPLAINING THAT WE GET RIPPED OFF BY BEING CHARGED TO RETURN ITEMS- This really is a free money grabber by Morphy Richards- i only 'changed my mind' as you put it as i saw size of box, so how TINY it must be,so not up to the job! Got in touch as had ordered by mistake two of same item, they cancelled one so was ok, i thought.When other arrived i could see from size of box that this was going to be way too small to do actual job(was an air conditioning cooler of some sort) as without packaging as well would have been even smaller(!)So i did not open it and emailed them as soon as delivered And i was assured they can Fully Refund me and will email a Label- NO MENTION OF DEDUCTION FOR RETURNS!- so then an email arrived after a few days (just to drag out the 'within 14 days' policy)! That includes return label where they inform me they will DEDUCT £3.99 JUST TO RETURN IT,OR I CAN PAY MYSELF BY OTHER METHOD!!- THE FLAMING CHEEK OF THEM!!- ive emailed about it but dont expect any different and i definitely wont be buying from them again.AT ALL.!I I already bought a small desk fan week before thats not great, but as it charges phones etc as well son says its ok as its not blasting cold air right in his face so i decided to keep that one! I presume Morphy Richards are only good at kettles,toasters,microwaves,irons etc. but NOT fans/air coolers.Stick to what you know Morphy Richards!If i had bought their item through Argos or a supermarket i could be refunded fully, no deductions!- so why not fully refund the direct buyers! And after reading other reviews it seems theyre no longer any good at kitchen items like they used to be either!!!

I bought the Morphy Richards Flexi Freeze 7L Air Cooler and the setup was a nightmare. The instruction manual is totally useless and doesn’t explain the most important thing for the first use. There is also absolutely NO video guide on YouTube or anywhere on the internet.The water pump inside is factory-locked with a plastic clip under the motor housing for transport. The manual does NOT tell you to detach it! Because of this, the pump hangs in the air, doesn't touch the water, and the device just keeps flashing the "Cooling" light and beeping like crazy. I had to dismantle the whole unit and figure out on my own that the pump works like an aquarium pump and needs to be released to drop to the bottom of the water tank.Selling a product for over £100 with such a poorly written step-by-step manual is a joke. If you don't release the pump manually, the cooler won't work. Shame on you, Morphy Richards, for not providing a basic video tutorial for your customers!
I know this device isn't complicated, but even a cigarette machine comes with an instruction manual, like everything else in this country. Morphy Richard, you should pay more attention to detail.

I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with a recent purchasing experience. I acquired two items from your official website, only to discover them subsequently offered at a considerably lower price on your TikTok shop. My request for a price adjustment, made prior to receiving the merchandise, was unfortunately denied by your customer service department. Consequently, I am now faced with the inconvenience of returning these items, and I am further dismayed to learn that a return service fee will be applied. This situation is quite unexpected and frankly, unacceptable. I am open to revising my assessment should a satisfactory resolution be provided. I have historically been a frequent patron of your company and have never encountered such an issue, particularly regarding the discrepancy between advertised prices. The failure to honor your own pricing across different sales channels is a matter of serious concern.

Truthfully I give the fan itself 10 out of 5 stars.. What gives it 1 star is to draw attention to the fact THERE IS NO WAY TO CLEAN IT! No way to dismantle, take the fan guard off and get the blades wiped down and hairs that have wraped around the spinning mechanism. Which then take a "SILENT" fan to a B****y noises one. Such a fantastic fan with one of the main components forgotten about- Fans collect dust and dirt and then blow that out there has to be a way to clean them. Work that out then this fan will be one of the best fans on the market. It's compact, its fits in my suitcase, I even take one to the hospital with me, the battery power last for 8/12 hrs depending on what speed is being used. It takes up very little room and I would purchase them as gifts (IF) I could work out how to take them apart and clean them. I spent 4hrs trying to pull out 3 hairs that were wrapped around the spinning mechanism as my hair is 4ft long those hairs were a nightmare but anyone with even shoulder length hair is going to have a nightmare trying to get access to remove them. Morphy Richards 10/05 for a fan right up until it need cleaned.

My coffee machine started leaking from the steam wand. As it was still under warranty I contacted Morphy Richards. Understandably I was asked to send proof....video and photos.....so while there was a bit of back/forth I felt I was treated fairly and politely......by the end of the week a new coffee machine was delivered!! Can't say any better than that!! Well done Morphy Richards!

The three pin plug on our Morphy Richards soup maker became faulty. This was outwith the guarantee period. Following notification to Morphy Richards a substantial discount was offered on a replacement unit. We found this gesture of goodwill by the Customer Support Team to be generous and offered in a friendly manner.
