Horrible service
Horrible service!
I've now been waiting for 6 hours for a provider to contact me back. I had an allergic reaction to the medication they gave me and need another prescription. They keep telling me they are busy. If that's truly the case, maybe they should hire more providers. This is unacceptable when you are dealing with people's health. I will never use them again!
provider cancelled appt without clarification
The N.P. that read my case regarding a UTI, read the past use of antibiotics in the past three months as CURRENT use of antibiotics and wrote back to me after cancelling my case..."Since you are CURRENTLY on antibiotic therapy...."
Which was/is incorrect. It was three months ago.
First and only time I will attempt to use this service...being that providers treating people can't understand or clarify the patients history before speaking to or messaging for clarification IF it was even needed.
Do not waste your time
Do not waste your time. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait at 11:25 AM. They put me in a room waiting for doctor saying that they were reviewing my file. I called two times they said doctor will be right at 1:25 I canceled my appointment because the doctor never came in. It was a total waste of time I went to another site and within 10 minutes. I had seen a doctor and got in the prescription that I needed. do not recommend at all.!
Why the bad reviews?
I wanted to make review because I used One Medical via Amazon last night for the first time. After I had already paid and was waiting to hear from Dr I came here to see what people were saying about there experience and all I got from here was bad reviews. I used this last nice to get help with acne and skin care and it worked flawlessly. I used the $14 one-time consultation via text rather than video (3am) on my phone rather than the $99 per year as a test trial. I put in my problem took a photo of the acne problem on my face and within two hours I was given a prescription for Retin A sent my local CVS. It was basically two text on their end and two on mine and it was sent to CVS that I chose when doing the intake. I would use the service again definitely but may look elsewhere in the future for reviews rather than here.

Love that the doctors really take their time and actually listen.also very easy when you need lab work, it’s right there. With a fast follow up from the doctor.
Don't waste your money and spare your friends family and enemies
I would do zero stars if that was a possible option this is a complete waste of your time and your money they offered new help whatsoever the only thing they're so cold doctor if it's true a doctor over counter medication like seriously so don't waste your time don't waste your money don't let your friends or family or even your enemies deal with Amazon one medical they need to be closed or shut down.
Criminal
I learned the hard way. Amazon One Medical makes you pay a yearly membership fee, plus $100/minute billed to your insurance. If you haven't met your deductible yet, you have to pay in fool. Outright criminal.
Mixed Review
The care and access is pretty good generally although we had several primary care physicians leave. The referrals to specialists and Urgent Care by One Medical have been excellent. However, their program for mental health “Mindset” seems to me a scam. They charged ridiculous amounts for so-called evaluations for which they did a short online interview. Luckily my insurance paid most of it. The assigned therapists canceled repeatedly on little notice, with no excuse. It seemed that the therapists took this as an unimportant side job. The program supervisor insisted on periodic sessions to check in and charged for those sessions, despite that I had no more than one or two actual sessions with the assigned therapist so I quickly left that program. Overall, One Medical provided care with a low price tag paid for by my health insurance and a copay so the value was good. Nevertheless, I have found a nearby internist who accepts my insurance and moved my care for better access to my primary physician, who follows up more closely than One Medical. One Medical may work for you if you have health insurance that One Medical accepts as in plan.
Rarely will you ever see a doctor
Rarely will you ever see a doctor ; almost exclusively nurses. Echocardiogram took a week to receive when hospitalized for pneumonia. DR tossed it in trash as incomplete. Always same advice: go home, rest, drink lots of fluids and go to ER if it gets worse! Cheap medicine, cheap service and very risky for your health.
Caveat Emptor!
Do Not Use Amazon One Med
Nurse practitioner did not send my prescription correctly (Robaxin). Messaged Amazon multiple times throughout the day to get this corrected, the pharmacy tried getting in touch with the NP, customer service kept transferring me. Just a mess. Never did get my prescription that I needed.
Waste of money and time
Waste of money and time. I cancelled my service through Amazon. Customer Support is worst, they have very minimal to no avilability.
Can't believe I fell for it...my…
Can't believe I fell for it...my daughter had a major respiratory issue, and so in an attempt to avoid taking her into the actual clinic where they had charged me hundreds of dollars, I looked into telehealth visits so I could get her a prescription without getting her out of the house. Unfortunately I didn't read close enough to the find print, and rather than doing the 'one-time visit' that would have charged me less than $50, I decided to sign up my child to the service to get everything set up.
Sure enough, the visit was scheduled and the nurse practitioner was over 45 minutes late, offered no medical advise of substance (and what they did suggest was having my 6-year-old take a triple-dose of children's cough medicine in one shot), didn't complete any prescriptions, and in under 10 minutes left me with absolutely no guidance and a bill of over $635.
Places like these shouldn't be allowed to advertise the way they do to take advantage of those who are in desperate need. I thought I was reading things clearly but that was obviously a mistake that I'm unfortunately having to pay for despite trying to negotiate my way out of it.
Aside from immediately canceling my 'membership', You can be certain I will be keeping a close eye on any potential class action lawsuits against this company should one arise due to this ridiculous pricing scam. Take heed, avoid this kind of service unless you're absolutely certain what you're getting into. It's an unfortunate mistake.
Waste of money
Waste of money! I have gotten bronchitis every year of my adult life. The treatment is always the same. Azithromycin and an inhaler. Done! Not here. Even after thorough explanation they prescribed cough medicine. What a joke. I spent $30 bucks to convince myself to go to medcheck where they prescribed, yup, you guessed it. Azithromycin and an inhaler. Save your money here! Would give zero stars if I could.

I had pink eye and used Amazon One Medical. Not only did they NOT prescribe any medication, they wouldn't even provide me with a doctor's note for work! I had to go to urgent care and spend $200 on an office visit. If you want to throw your hard-earned money out the window- then use this service. They are POINTLESS!!!
Terrible decision on my part
Terrible decision on my part. I’ve used many telehealth for when I have issues I get yearly. I know my body and it’s an annual sinus infection I get. I don’t get better without antibiotics however he completely glazed over me saying that multiple times. I’m sure it wasn’t him seeming I was told twice as a disclaimer that under my “symptoms” I wouldn’t be getting antibiotics. I’m not sure if this company thinks they are opioids. Worst 29$ I have ever spent. Thanks for the recommendations for OTC’s I told you I already was using….
I paid $582.00 for a virtual visit for less then 13 minutes
I paid $582.00 on 07-17-2025 for only talk to a doctor for less than 13 minutes and asking her to provide me with two blood test requests.
Also I paid two more separate invoices Of $77.70 and $96.60 for the blood tests.
The final total are $757.03
I do not recommend One Medical to anyone.
Zero Stars: A Masterclass in Incompetence
This was hands down the most unprofessional and disorganized experience I’ve ever had with a healthcare provider. I signed up through Amazon for a free trial and scheduled a virtual visit for a UTI. After the visit, the nurse practitioner gave me a care plan that required me to go to a One Medical location for a urine sample (or another lab if I messaged them back with a location) no antibiotic prescription in the meantime, even though I was in clear discomfort. I sent a follow-up message with a few questions almost immediately, only to be told that the NP I spoke to wouldn’t return for two weeks. Another NP eventually replied, but the delay already spoke volumes about how disconnected and inefficient this service is.
When I arrived at the One Medical office, I told the receptionist I was there for a urinalysis. I asked for an estimate of the cost, which turned into a ten-minute ordeal. She finally quoted me a price of "six sixty" and I relied six hundred and sixty dollars? No, she meant $6.60 for the dipstick test but couldn’t tell me the price for the urine culture, even after several more minutes of trying. Then the lab tech came out and told me there was no provider on-site and that she couldn’t perform the dipstick test because it’s considered a “hands-on” procedure. The culture, I was told, would take 3–5 days to process. So not only was I in pain and waiting days for incomplete testing, I was also stuck in a ridiculous loop of poor communication and zero accountability.
When I asked who I could speak to about my experience, the lab tech refused to give me any contact information. I was told to “submit a message through the app” and that they would “flag” my record. That’s it. No help, no empathy, no professionalism.
From start to finish, both Amazon and One Medical completely dropped the ball. What should have been a straightforward, supportive healthcare experience turned into a wasted afternoon, unnecessary frustration, and no resolution to my actual health concern. I would never recommend this service to anyone! Ever.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I will be reviewing negatively in as many places as possible. Intentional cop out by NP Maxine Stewart. Took her $50 and did not want to waste more time sending in a prescription for antibiotics AFTER acknowledging it was needed. This is a
scam by Amazon and the lazy Nurse Practioners (not doctors). I will do my best to save future people who need medical care to try other online or in person care teams but NOT this one.
This company is unethical
This company is unethical. I went to One Medical with jaw pain, citing I had TMJ in the past. Rather than bill me for diagnosis (was it TMJ or something else) they unethically billed me for TMJ treatment.
As a result my insurance denied the claim. Despite repeated attempts they did not recode the visit. They also offered no way for me to escalate my complaint to a supervisor. It felt like a Kafka novel.
I appealed to the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner. And I won’t pay this bill.
Don't waste your breath
Used their services under the free trail. I did a phone call and chat gpt told me the urgent care phone call would be free but I haven't checked to see if they charged me. Anyway it was supposed to be a video call but 2-3 minutes in it asks you if you would like to get a call back and stop waiting on the line. So I did that and the doctor called me and said he couldn't preform a diagnosis without an in person visit after I explained to him I don't have insurance. I'm trying again this morning to see if i can get a different provider however it seems they're leaving me on hold until i agree to their phone call service because i've been waiting well over 26 minutes to be seen. I'm cancelling before they can charge me anything. What a waste of time and money.
